Abstract

Abstract:  This activity aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a structured cadre empowerment model in enhancing Posyandu cadres' capacity (knowledge, attitude, and practice readiness) for providing supplementary feeding based on local food sources at Mangkupalas Community Health Center, Samarinda City. This participatory empowerment activity involved 55 Posyandu cadres over two months, utilizing training, demonstration, mentoring, and supervision. Evaluation was conducted solely by measuring changes in cadre knowledge and attitude using pre- and post-tests. The program demonstrated significant success in human resource development. The average knowledge score of the cadres increased from 91.6 to 94.0, and the percentage of cadres showing good attitudes increased significantly from 65% to 91%. Conclusion: The cadre empowerment model proved highly effective in improving cadre knowledge and motivation, establishing a strong foundation for the sustained implementation and effectiveness of local food-based PMT programs at the community level.Abstrak: Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas model pemberdayaan kader terstruktur dalam meningkatkan kapasitas kader Posyandu untuk memberikan makanan tambahan (PMT) berbasis pangan lokal di Puskesmas Mangkupalas, Kota Samarinda. Aktivitas pemberdayaan partisipatif ini melibatkan 55 kader Posyandu melalui pelatihan, demonstrasi, pendampingan, dan supervisi selama dua bulan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengukur perubahan pengetahuan dan sikap kader melalui pre/post-test. Program ini menunjukkan keberhasilan signifikan. Rata-rata nilai pengetahuan kader meningkat dari 91,6 menjadi 94,0, dan persentase kader dengan sikap baik meningkat dari 65% menjadi 91%. Peningkatan ini memvalidasi efektivitas pelatihan dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia lokal.

Abstract

Abstract:  This community service program aimed to develop and implement adaptive gymnastics as a movement therapy medium for students with special needs at SKH Muara Sejahtera, Pamulang. The background of this activity was the low participation of students with hearing and intellectual disabilities in physical activities, limited teacher competence in adapted physical education, and the absence of structured adaptive exercise programs. Adaptive gymnastics was selected because it can be modified according to individual abilities and functions as movement therapy to improve coordination, balance, muscle strength, and socio-emotional development. The implementation method involved collaboration among lecturers, students, teachers, and parents through training, mentoring, and routine adaptive gymnastics practice over a two-month period. Evaluation was conducted using pre-post motor skill assessments, observation, and interviews with teachers and parents. The results showed and increase in student participation from 40% to 75% , improved motivation and confidence, and better coordination in most students, although independence and concentration still required further improvement. Teachers also gained new competencies in applying adaptive physical education strategies. This program demonstrates that adaptive gymnastics in an effective and feasible intervention to enhance motor development and learning participation of students with special needs in special schools.Abstrak: Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan senam adaptif sebagai media terapi gerak bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus di SKH Muara Sejahtera, Pamulang. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya partisipasi siswa tunarungu dan tunagrahita dalam aktivitas jasmani, keterbatasan kompetensi guru dalam pendidikan jasmani adaptif, serta belum tersedianya program senam adaptif yang terstruktur. Senam adaptif dipilih karena dapat dimodifikasi sesuai kemampuan individu dan berfungsi sebagai terapi gerak untuk meningkatkan koordinasi, keseimbangan, kekuatan otot, serta perkembangan sosial-emosional siswa. Metode pelaksaan melibarkan kolaborasi dosem, mahasiswa, guru, dan orang tua melalui kegiatan pelatihan, pendampingan, serta praktik senam adaptif secara rutin selama dua bulan. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan asesmen motorik pra dan pasca kegiatan, observasi, serta wawancara dengan guru dan orang tua. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatkan partisipas siswa dari 40% menjadi 75%, meningkatnnya motivasi dan rasa percaya diri siswa, serta perbaikan koordinasi gerak, meskipun aspek kemandirian dan konsentrasi masih memerlukan pendampingan lanjutan. Guru juga mengalami peningkatan kompetensi dalam menerapkan pendidikan jasmani adaptif. Program ini membuktikan bahwa senam adaptif merupakan intervensi yang efektif dan aplikatif untuk meningkatkan perkembangan motorik dan partisipasi belajar siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah khusus.

Abstract

Abstract:  The main problems faced by partners include teachers' low ability to develop assessment instruments that are suitable for deep learning and 21st century-oriented learning, and teachers' suboptimal integration of local cultural values into assessment. This activity aims to improve teachers' ability to develop ethno-edutainment-based creative problem-solving (CPS) assessment instruments for deep learning and equip teachers with the skills to integrate local culture into assessment through the ethno-edutainment approach. The activity was carried out through the stages of planning, socialization, mentoring, simulation, and evaluation with a participatory and active learning approach. Teachers were provided with deep learning materials, CPS instruments, and ethno-edutainment applications, then directly assisted in developing and presenting locally-based assessment instruments. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teacher competence, where the average ability of teachers in developing CPS assessment instruments for deep learning increased from 54% at the initial stage to 83.2% after the activity, while the ability to integrate local cultural values into assessment increased from 52.2% to 85.2%. These results indicate that assistance in developing ethno-edutainment-based CPS instruments is effective in improving the professional competence of elementary school teachers.Abstrak: Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian yang sesuai dengan pembelajaran mendalam dan berorientasi abad 21 dan belum optimalnya guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai budaya lokal dalam penilaian. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian creative problem-solving (CPS) berbasis ethno-edutainment untuk pembelajaran mendalam dan membekali guru dengan keterampilan mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam penilaian melalui pendekatan ethno-edutainment. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, sosialisasi, pendampingan, simulasi, dan evaluasi dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan active learning. Guru dibekali materi pembelajaran mendalam, instrumen CPS, serta penerapan ethno-edutainment, kemudian didampingi secara langsung dalam menyusun dan mempresentasikan instrumen penilaian berbasis budaya lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kompetensi guru, di mana rata-rata kemampuan guru dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian CPS pembelajaran mendalam meningkat dari 54% pada tahap awal menjadi 83,2% setelah kegiatan, sedangkan kemampuan mengintegrasikan nilai budaya lokal dalam penilaian meningkat dari 52,2% menjadi 85,2%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan penyusunan instrumen CPS berbasis ethno-edutainment efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract:  The issue of toddlers experiencing stagnant weight gain at posyandu continues to pose a challenge in preventing malnutrition. One promising intervention is the provision of supplementary feeding made from locally available foods that align with community dietary patterns and nutritional requirements. This community service aims to improve the mother nutrition knowledge and weight gain among toddlers with growth faltering at community health centers. The community engagement activity involved administering supplementary food for 14 consecutive days to eight toddlers with no weight gain, consisting of 12 days of nutrient-dense snacks and 2 days of complete main meals. The supplementary food was distributed by posyandu cadres directly to the children’s homes, accompanied by educational sessions on infant and young child feeding practices. Findings revealed an improvement in mothers’ nutritional knowledge from 88% categorized as good to 100% good, alongside an average increase in toddlers’ body weight from 11.68 kg to 11.91 kg. The implementation of locally based supplementary food demonstrates potential in promoting weight gain among toddlers with stagnant growth and serves as a viable model for sustainable nutrition interventions at the posyandu level.Abstrak: Masalah balita dengan berat badan tidak naik (T) di posyandu masih menjadi tantangan dalam upaya pencegahan gizi kurang. Salah satu intervensi yang efektif adalah pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) berbasis bahan pangan lokal yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi dan kebiasaan makan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu balita dan berat badan balita dengan status tidak naik (T) di posyandu melalui pemberian PMT berbasis pangan lokal. Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan memberikan makanan tambahan selama 14 hari kepada 8 balita yang tidak naik berat badannya (T), terdiri dari 12 hari pemberian kudapan bergizi dan 2 hari pemberian menu makan utama lengkap. Pemberian PMT dilakukan oleh kader posyandu dan diantarkan ke rumah balita disertai dengan edukasi terkait pemberian makan bayi dan anak. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan gizi ibu balita dari 88% baik menjadi 100% baik, peningkatan berat badan balita dari rata-rata 11.68 kg menjadi 11.91 kg. Pemberian PMT berbasis pangan lokal berpotensi meningkatkan berat badan balita dengan status tidak naik (T) dan dapat menjadi model intervensi gizi yang berkelanjutan di tingkat posyandu

Abstract

Abstract:  Mangroves are ecosystems that live in the transitional area between the ocean and land. Mangrove ecosystems play a key role in the sustainability of coastal areas. The existence of mangrove ecosystems is key to sustainability because it provides various important benefits both physically, ecologically, socially, and economically. These benefits are greatly felt by coastal communities whose areas have mangrove potential, namely Buti village, Merauke Regency, South Papua Province. Buti village is one of the unique villages and is located in the center of Merauke Regency city because the majority of the residents are the indigenous Merauke tribe (Marind). The existence of the mangrove ecosystem in Buti village affects the economic conditions of the community, because most of them make a living as fishermen. Along with developments and changes in ecological, social and economic aspects, Buti village will face challenges in maintaining and using natural resources sustainably, especially in the mangrove ecosystem. Although Buti village has quite potential natural resources, the lack of information and data regarding mangrove potential will hinder future development. Based on the emergence of several problems, the Community Service team implemented several programs as solutions to existing problems. The program included mapping mangrove potential using remote sensing technology, specifically the Mangrove Vegetation Index (MVI) from Landsat 8 satellite imagery, and providing outreach on mangrove utilization and conservation efforts. The results of the community service activities indicate that Buti village has significant mangrove potential mapped and a fairly good understanding of mangrove sustainability.Abstrak: : Mangrove merupakan ekosistem yang hidup di wilayah peralihan antara lautan dan daratan. Ekosistem mangrove memiliki peran sebagai kunci dalam keberlanjutan wilayah pesisir. Peran tersebut sangat dirasakan oleh masyarakat pesisir yang wilayahnya terdapat potensi mangrove, yaitu kampung Buti, Kabupaten Merauke, Provinsi Papua Selatan. perekonomian masyarakat, karena sebagian besar bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan. Seiring dengan perkembangan dan perubahan dari segi ekologi, sosial dan ekonomi, kampung Buti akan menghadapi tantangan untuk menjaga dan memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam secara berkelanjutan khususnya di ekosistem mangrove.. Berdasarkan dengan kemunculan beberapa permasalahan tersebut, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk melakukan pemetaan potensi mangrove dan penyuluhan pemanfaatan mangrove sebagai upaya pelestarian berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dengan metode Mangrove Vegetation Index (MVI) dari citra satelit Landsat 8 dan penyuluhan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bahwa kampung Buti memiliki pemetaan potensi mangrove yang potensial dan pemahaman terhadap kelestarian mangrove yang cukup baik.

Abstract:  Data analysis skills have become a crucial aspect of strategic decision-making in the fields of modern economics and business. However, only a limited number of people have mastered this skill. This data analysis training aims to enhance the analytical capacity of students and business practitioners in responding to the challenges of datadriven decision making. The activity was conducted as a technical training session using a handson approach with the STATA statistical software. The target participants included final-year university students and business practitioners who require an understanding of data structures and their application in economic and business studies. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in participants' conceptual understanding and technical skills. This outcome contributes to strengthening managerial capacity and fostering databased decision making. Moreover, the program supports the development of data analysis expertise and human resource development in both the business sector and higher educationAbstrak: Keterampilan analisis data telah menjadi aspek penting dalam pengambilan keputusan strategis di bidang ekonomi dan bisnis modern. Namun, hanya sebagian kecil orang yang menguasai keterampilan ini. Pelatihan analisis data ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas analitis mahasiswa dan praktisi bisnis dalam menanggapi tantangan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai sesi pelatihan teknis menggunakan pendekatan praktik langsung dengan perangkat lunak statistik STATA. Peserta sasaran meliputi mahasiswa tingkat akhir dan praktisi bisnis yang membutuhkan pemahaman tentang struktur data dan penerapannya dalam studi ekonomi dan bisnis. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan teknis peserta. Hasil ini berkontribusi pada penguatan kapasitas manajerial dan mendorong pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Selain itu, program ini mendukung pengembangan keahlian analisis data dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia baik di sektor bisnis maupun pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract:  The use of digital media in marketing communications for goods and services is a necessity, given the rapid development of information technology. However, many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have not yet optimally utilized digital media due to limited knowledge and skills in managing digital marketing communications. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of MSMEs in utilizing digital media as a means of product marketing communications. The service implementation method is carried out through training and mentoring activities held face-to-face in the Semanan Village Hall, Kalideres District, West Jakarta. The activity stages include the presentation of digital marketing communication concepts and theories, interactive discussions, and simple practices for developing marketing communication messages through digital media. The results of the community service show that the training participants demonstrated enthusiasm and active participation throughout the activity, both through question and answer sessions and discussions. Although some participants already had digital media accounts, these accounts had not been optimally utilized due to limited abilities in designing effective marketing messages. After participating in the training, participants gained a better understanding of digital marketing communication strategies and demonstrated readiness to utilize digital media more actively in marketing their MSME products.Abstrak: Pemanfaatan media digital dalam kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran produk barang dan jasa merupakan sebuah keniscayaan seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi. Namun demikian, masih banyak pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang belum memanfaatkan media digital secara optimal akibat keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan komunikasi pemasaran digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan media digital sebagai sarana komunikasi pemasaran produk. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilaksanakan secara tatap muka di Aula Kelurahan Semanan, Kecamatan Kalideres, Jakarta Barat. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi pemaparan konsep dan teori komunikasi pemasaran digital, diskusi interaktif, serta praktik sederhana penyusunan pesan komunikasi pemasaran melalui media digital. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan menunjukkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung, baik melalui sesi tanya jawab maupun diskusi. Meskipun sebagian peserta telah memiliki akun media digital sebelumnya, akun tersebut belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal karena keterbatasan kemampuan dalam merancang pesan pemasaran yang efektif. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, peserta memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital dan menunjukkan kesiapan untuk memanfaatkan media digital secara lebih aktif dalam memasarkan produk UMKM mereka.

Abstract

Abstract: This Community Service Program aims to improve elementary school students’ spatial and mathematical literacy by enhancing teachers’ competencies in developing and utilizing concrete learning media in the form of plane geometry puzzles based on a deep learning approach. The program was conducted at SD Negeri Inpres Skouw Mabo, Jayapura City, where challenges remain in the effective use of learning media and students’ spatial reasoning abilities. A participatory approach was employed through stages of problem identification, socialization, training, evaluation and reflection, and sustainability planning. Teachers were trained to design, create, and implement plane geometry puzzle media integrating the principles of mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. The results indicate improved teacher knowledge and skills in developing contextual puzzle-based media aligned with learning outcomes, as well as enhanced understanding of the deep learning approach. The program also increased teachers’ motivation and creativity in fostering active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning. This program was funded by a grant from the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) through the BIMA platform and has the potential to sustainably improve instructional quality and students’ spatial reasoning and mathematical literacyAbstrak: Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi spasial dan literasi matematika siswa sekolah dasar melalui peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam membuat dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran konkret berupa puzzle bangun datar berbasis pendekatan deep learning. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Inpres Skouw Mabo, Kota Jayapura, yang masih menghadapi kendala dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran serta rendahnya kemampuan penalaran spasial siswa. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, sosialisasi, pelatihan, evaluasi dan refleksi, serta perencanaan keberlanjutan program. Pada tahap pelatihan, guru dilatih merancang, membuat, dan menggunakan media puzzle bangun datar yang mengintegrasikan prinsip mindful, meaningful, dan joyful learning. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran puzzle yang kontekstual dan sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran. Guru juga memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai penerapan pendekatan deep learning serta mampu mengkreasikan media puzzle untuk berbagai mata pelajaran. Selain itu, kegiatan ini meningkatkan motivasi dan kreativitas guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna. Program ini didanai oleh hibah Direktorat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (DPPM) melalui platform BIMA dan berpotensi memberikan dampak berkelanjutan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran serta pengembangan kemampuan penalaran spasial dan literasi matematika siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract:  This community service activity aims to strengthen the economic independence of mosques through the establishment of a mosque-based business unit managed professionally using digital marketing strategies. The partner faced challenges, including limited business management capacity, low digital literacy, and underutilization of online marketing platforms. The program was implemented using participatory methods through workshops, training sessions, and technical assistance focusing on marketplace utilization and digital promotion strategies. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding and skills in managing online-based business activities, as well as the establishment of a mosque business unit ready to operate digitally. This program is expected to support sustainable mosque financing and community economic empowerment.Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi masjid melalui pembentukan unit usaha masjid yang dikelola secara profesional dan berbasis digital marketing. Permasalahan mitra meliputi keterbatasan kapasitas pengelolaan usaha, rendahnya literasi digital, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan platform pemasaran daring. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui workshop, pelatihan, dan pendampingan teknis pemanfaatan marketplace dan strategi promosi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengelola usaha berbasis digital serta terbentuknya unit usaha masjid yang siap beroperasi secara online. Program ini diharapkan mendukung keberlanjutan pembiayaan masjid dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstract:  This community service programme aims to produce a blueprint for a culture- and environment-based digital madrasah model as a strategic guideline for the development of sustainable digital education at MAN 4 Tanah Datar. The community service method uses a participatory qualitative approach with an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) framework, which emphasises the exploration and optimisation of local assets and potential as the basis for the madrasah's digital transformation. This approach was chosen to ensure that the development process did not start from a perspective of deficiency, but rather from the social, cultural, and environmental strengths that the madrasah community already possessed. The ABCD stages include defining, discovering, dreaming, asset mapping, linking and mobilising assets, and monitoring, which were carried out collaboratively with teachers, madrasah leaders, students, and community leaders. Data collection is carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and documentation studies to gain a comprehensive understanding of the conditions, potential, and challenges of madrasah digitalisation. The entire process is reinforced by the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) to develop systematic, measurable, and sustainable programme planning. The combination of ABCD and LFA enables the development of a contextual, participatory blueprint for digital madrasahs that is in line with cultural values and environmental concerns.Abstrak: Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah blueprint model madrasah digital berbasis budaya dan lingkungan sebagai pedoman strategis pengembangan pendidikan digital berkelanjutan di MAN 4 Tanah Datar. Metode pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif partisipatif dengan kerangka Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), yang menekankan penggalian dan optimalisasi aset serta potensi lokal sebagai dasar transformasi digital madrasah. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk memastikan proses pengembangan tidak berangkat dari perspektif kekurangan, melainkan dari kekuatan sosial, budaya, dan lingkungan yang telah dimiliki komunitas madrasah. Tahapan ABCD meliputi define, discovery, dream, asset mapping, linking and mobilizing assets, serta monitoring, yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif bersama guru, pimpinan madrasah, siswa, dan tokoh masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), serta studi dokumentasi guna memperoleh pemahaman komprehensif terkait kondisi, potensi, dan tantangan digitalisasi madrasah. Seluruh proses tersebut diperkuat dengan Logical Framework Approach (LFA) untuk menyusun perencanaan program yang sistematis, terukur, dan berkelanjutan. Kombinasi ABCD dan LFA memungkinkan penyusunan blueprint madrasah digital yang kontekstual, partisipatif, dan selaras dengan nilai budaya serta kepedulian lingkungan.
