Abstract

Inclusive education is increasingly recognized as a critical component in ensuring equitable access to quality education for all students, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds. However, in Indonesia, the development and implementation of inclusive education practices remain uneven, with limited understanding of its growth and impact within the local context. This study aims to analyze inclusive education in Indonesia through bibliometric analysis, addressing six key questions: the most frequent keywords, trends in scholarly publications, prolific researchers, citation rates, influential journals, and collaboration patterns with other countries. Data from Scopus over the past decade resulted in 148 relevant articles, covering a wide range of topics from [Topic 1] to [Topic 2]. Findings reveal a predominant focus on inclusive education concepts in Indonesian literature, experiencing significant growth peaking in 2023. The study identifies 12 highly active authors with 98 articles and the top 10 most cited articles receiving 219 citations. Notably, research in 2020 achieved the highest citation rate, with 111 citations. The International Journal of Special Education emerged as the primary publication outlet. Indonesia collaborated with 13 countries, notably Malaysia, Australia, and the United States. These findings provide a robust foundation for developing inclusive education concepts and practices tailored to Indonesia's specific needs and context.

Abstract

The utilization of digital media in learning is crucial in the current era of education, especially in training 21st-century skills. This study explores digital media's role in optimizing project-based learning in an Islamic high school in Indonesia. The selection of this school as the research subject is based on the utilization of digital media in the learning process, which has been carried out regularly, so it is beneficial in optimizing project-based learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through observation, interview, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques include reduction, display, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that examples of project-based learning activities in this school include learning to make dioramas from recycled paper, resin bed lamps, generator mock-ups, environmental campaign posters, and plant naming signs. These project-based learning activities are instrumental in training students' 21st-century critical thinking, creativity, digital literacy, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Digital media in this study acts as an idea generator and inspiration to find much scientific information, not least related to making name signs on a plant. This study indirectly contributes insight into examples of teacher creativity regarding the use of digital media to create interesting and meaningful learning.

Abstract

Integrating advanced technologies such as Google Maps and Generative AI is revolutionizing inclusive geography education by addressing the unique needs of students with speech delays and slow learning. This study examines the impact of these tools through interactive, technology-driven activities designed to boost engagement and comprehension of geographical concepts. Results indicate that 85% of students demonstrated heightened engagement and a 30% improvement in spatial reasoning skills. Collaborative tasks, including group discussions and presentations, enhance language development and cultivate cultural and social awareness. The multi-sensory features of Google Maps accommodate diverse learning styles, offering an enjoyable and effective educational experience. These findings underscore the transformative potential of technology in inclusive education, emphasizing the need for adaptive and supportive learning environments to empower students with special needs.

Abstract

Digital literacy is essential for success in the 21st-century education landscape, requiring innovative strategies to address diverse learner needs. This study examines the effectiveness of the Differentiated Instruction (DI) strategy integrated with AI-enabled ProProfs.com in improving eighth-grade students' digital literacy skills. A quasi-experimental design was employed with 60 students divided into an experimental group (30) and a control group (30). Results showed a significant improvement in digital literacy for the experimental group, with an average score increase of 16.7 points (p < 0.0001), compared to 3.4 points in the control group (p = 0.045). ProProfs.com allowed personalized learning, leading to higher motivation and engagement; 85% of students reported increased motivation, and 78% noted better material comprehension. These findings highlight the effectiveness of AI-integrated platforms in differentiated learning, encouraging educators and policymakers to adopt such approaches to enhance digital literacy and cater to diverse educational needs.

Abstract

Children learn discipline, defined as appropriate and approved behavior, from an early age to foster positive character development and prepare them for their next development stage. This research aims to find out how much influence the AI project-based learning model for making animated videos has on early childhood discipline. This research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design, focusing on a sample of 19 children between the ages of 5 and 6 years. The research collected data using pretest and posttest data observation instruments and implemented project-based learning to create AI-based animated videos. Data analysis used the paired sample T-test and obtained a T value of 8.244 > T table 2.109, while a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005 indicated that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. This proves that the application of the project-based learning model to making AI-based animated videos influences the discipline of children aged 5–6 years at Kindergarten Dharma Indri 1 Jember. The research results show that project-based learning involves creating animated videos using AI, is very suitable for young children and can significantly improve children's discipline.

Abstract

This study focuses on the exploration and development of an AI-based learning model to realize personalized education, which is tailored to the needs of individual students. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The study results indicate that adaptive algorithms and real-time feedback contribute significantly to the effectiveness of personalized learning. However, this study also found that AI and direct assistance from human resources or teachers proved more effective in supporting education, especially in aspects that require conceptual understanding. These findings highlight the importance of attention to how AI is used to increase learning effectiveness and student motivation. Implications in this study include recommendations for developing ethical and collaborative technology-based learning, with a balanced integration between the roles of technology and human resources in education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how AI (artificial intelligence) can transform the learning experience by going beyond the limitations of traditional textbook-based methods in global education. With a qualitative research approach and case study type, data were collected through semi-structured interviews and participant observations at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo, which has implemented AI technology, and through documentation analysis. The study results show that data-based learning allows teachers to design more personalized and effective learning through comprehensive data analysis. Meanwhile, automated teaching through AI provides real-time guidance and feedback, accelerating students' understanding of the subject matter. These findings indicate that integrating AI in madrasah education improves the quality of learning and creates a more inclusive and adaptive learning environment.
