Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing number of divorce disputes involving the division of intangible assets, particularly net income from copyright royalties, which are not explicitly regulated in Indonesian legislation. Royalties, as the economic proceeds of intellectual property, are recurring and high in value, giving rise to legal issues when they are acquired during marriage. This study aims to analyze the form of legal protection for net royalty income as joint property and how the judge's considerations in Decision Number 16/Pdt.G/2024/PTA.JK position it within the framework of family law. The research method used is normative juridical with a legislative and case approach, using secondary data through a qualitative analysis of literature. The results of the study show that royalties generated during marriage are categorized as joint property based on Article 35 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 1974 and Article 91 of the Compilation of Islamic Law. The Jakarta Religious High Court ruling confirms that 50% of the total net royalty income is part of joint property because it contributes to the welfare of the household. In conclusion, legal protection of royalties as joint property is an effort to realize the principles of justice and legal certainty in the distribution of post-marital wealth, while strengthening the integration between intellectual property law and family law.

Abstract

This study analyzes the translation shifts and translation methods applied in the children's storybook "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a comparative methodology, this study examines the English source text and the Indonesian target text "The Rainbow Fish". Based on Catford's (1965) and Newmark's (2014) theories, 66 shifts were analyzed. The results show that structural shift dominates with 24 cases (36.4%), followed by class shift with 15 cases (22.7%), unit shift with 12 cases (18.2%), level shift with 8 cases (12.1%), and intra-system shift with 7 cases (10.6%). The translation is oriented to the target text by using a consistent communicative method, which proves effective in conveying moral messages to Indonesian children without losing the essence of the original story

Abstract

Adolescent mothers are a group that has high vulnerability in the postpartum period, especially related to limited autonomy in making treatment decisions. Age, economic dependence, and cultural and gender norms often put them in a position of disadvantage. This study aims to understand the narrative of adolescent mothers regarding the experience of autonomy in decision-making in postpartum care. The method used is a qualitative narrative study based on a review of the latest literature on obstetrics, adolescent reproductive health, and decision-making practices in maternal care. The analysis focused on the main themes that emerged from the subjective experiences of adolescent mothers. The results of the study show that there is an ambivalence in adolescent mothers between the desire to be independent and the reality of attachment to family and partner support. Factors that strengthen autonomy include midwife support, the availability of clear health information, and the existence of equal communication with the partner. On the other hand, the dominant obstacles are social stigma, financial limitations, and lack of negotiation space within the family and health services. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening the role of midwives in creating a participatory, culturally sensitive, and empowerment-oriented care model. The implications of these findings are expected to be the basis for improving the quality of postpartum services that are more responsive to the reproductive needs and rights of adolescent mothers.

Abstract

This investigation seeks to ascertain the relationship between components within the educational environment and the learning outcomes of 11th-grade learners at MAS Muhammadiyah Nangahure, a pursuit stemming from the impediments encountered by a number of pupils during the learning process, which are attributable to an inadequate learning setting. According to preliminary observations, the institution's topographical placement is alongside a main route that is heavily utilized by the surrounding population, causes a high intensity of disturbances from vehicle traffic, often disrupting students' concentration in the classroom. In addition, the presence of public facilities such as a soccer field near the school and the habit of the local community playing loud music also serve as external disturbances that affect students' concentration. This research applies a quantitative approach. The total number of participants for this investigation amounts to 63 individuals, of which 21 are XI grade learners, 21 parents or guardians of the students, and 21 members of the community around the school. Collection the information in this study was collected using questionnaires and documentation of odd semester report card grades for the 2024/2025 academic year. To ascertain the instruments' precision and stability, validation and dependability tests were carried out. The data gathered thereafter was analyzed through the application of multiple linear regression methods. The research outcomes reveal that on a simultaneous basis, the elements of the educational environment exert a significant effect on the learners' academic achievement (p 0.001), yielding a coefficient of determination of 61.1%. Partially, the school and societal settings demonstrate a significant bearing, whereas the domestic setting lacks a significant effect. These outcomes underscore the critical need for establishing a supportive learning environment, especially from the aspects of school and surrounding community, to optimally support students' academic achievements.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of hybrid working models, where employees divide their time between remote and on-site work. While hybrid work offers flexibility and better worklife balance, it also introduces challenges such as digital fatigue, social isolation, and fairness concerns. Organizational culture emerges as a critical factor influencing employee engagement, loyalty, and retention in such contexts. This study aims to explore how cultural dimensionsparticularly fairness, inclusion, and support for worklife balanceaffect talent retention in hybrid environments. Using a qualitative literature study, data were collected from academic journals, books, and industry reports published within the last five years. The analysis employed a thematic content approach to synthesize findings and identify patterns linking organizational culture and retention outcomes. Results indicate that organizations fostering fairness and transparency in performance evaluations and workload distribution are more successful in reducing turnover intentions. Inclusion and belonging are equally vital in preventing remote worker isolation, while worklife balance initiatives help mitigate digital fatigue. Conversely, toxic or neglectful cultures significantly increase disengagement and attrition. The study concludes that organizational culture is not a peripheral factor but a strategic resource that strengthens loyalty and long-term commitment. Practical examples from companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Spotify illustrate how adaptive cultures support retention during hybrid transitions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the economic potential of villages through public service management in BUMDesma governance with a focus on the principles of good corporate governance which include responsibility, openness, accountability, independence, and fairness. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results of the study show that the application of good corporate governance principles has not been maximized in increasing the business of BUMDesma in accordance with the provisions expected to strengthen the economy of the village community. Similarly, the factors of participation, cooperation, emancipation, and sustainability as determinants of the success of public services have not been carried out optimally due to various obstacles, including the lack of operational costs, government dominance in policy-making, lack of concern from the private sector for the interests of the community, conflicts of interest between stakeholders, and low entrepreneurial knowledge and competence of administrators. The recommendations of this study are the need to increase the capacity of BUMDesma administrators through entrepreneurship training, strengthening collaboration between the government, the private sector, and the community, as well as more transparent and sustainable management of village resources to support food security and the welfare of village communities.

Abstract

Abstract

The increasing rate of home ownership in Indonesia has created a growing demand for construction services that are transparent, efficient, and reliable, posing challenges for consumers in finding skilled workers. This study formulates the problem of how perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, facilitated by Machine Learning-based features, influence user acceptance of the Kanggo application. The objective is to analyze the effects of Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness on attitude, intention, and actual use within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A quantitative method employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to survey data from Kanggo users. The findings reveal that all hypotheses are supported, with significant relationships among latent variables, confirming that ease of use and perceived benefits drive user intention and actual application usage. Recommendations include strengthening recommendation and price prediction features to enhance user adoption.
