Abstract

This research discusses the role of digital platforms in enhancing cultural interaction among students in the era of globalization. Digital platforms such as social media and video conferencing applications have become important tools for students to exchange perspectives and cultures and collaborate virtually on international projects. collaborate virtually on international projects. This research technique with a descriptive approach to analyze data from various related literature. Analyze data from various related literatures. The results showed that the digital platform makes it easy for students from different cultural backgrounds to interact and learn from each other, increase cultural awareness and build intercultural tolerance, and build intercultural tolerance. Although digital platforms provide significant positive impact, challenges such as different communication styles and limited access to the internet and limited internet access are still an obstacle. This result shows that the digital platform not only enriches students' academy experience but also help them adapt and actively participate in a dynamic global society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the public relations strategy of the West Java Province Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) in managing social media content, especially on the Instagram platform @bpsdmjabar. With the rapid development of information technology, the role of public relations is not only to convey information, but also to build a positive image of the institution through effective and interactive content delivery. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that the public relations of BPSDM West Java Province implemented the SPARKLE (Smart Providing Answers, Radiating Knowledge with Love Enthusiasm) strategy for content management of general information, activities and entertainment. Evaluation of content performance is done through analysis and audience response using FAIR (Follower, Activity, Interaction, Responsive). This study concludes that content distribution through various Instagram features such as feeds, reels, stories, Highlights helps increase interaction and expand audience reach. In the future, BPSDM can conduct a more in-depth content evaluation by utilizing various analytical tools or using engagement rate calculations to measure the effectiveness of audience interaction and engagement.

Abstract

The research was conducted to look at correlation between executive function and gratitude of college students. The subjects used were the international Acehnese student in Malaysia. The subjects were chosen by stratifield random sampling techniques with quantitative research approaches. The instrument were The Executive Function Index (EFI) and Gratitude Questionnaire (GQ-6) based on Likert Scale. SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) was used to administer and manage the collected data. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics (min and percentage) and inference statistics which were the Pearson corelation, ANOVA and Regression. The hypothesis stating that there was statistically significant corelation between Executive Function and Gratitude was accepted as (r= .631, p .01). based on the research, several implications and suggestions are given.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of human resource (HR) training and development programs at PT Unilever Indonesia in supporting organizational performance. Using a quantitative method, data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that the training programs have improved employee competencies by 85%, enhanced employee motivation by 75%, and increased organizational productivity by 10%. The study also found that the effectiveness of training is influenced by the alignment of programs with the company’s strategic needs and employee feedback. Key recommendations include adopting digital technology in training, integrating employee feedback into program design, and providing continuous training to adapt to changing organizational needs. This study offers significant contributions to more strategic and sustainable HR management to address the evolving business dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of auditors in financial statements and recording of tax reporting of client companies when conducting the audit process. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method, with primary data collection from interviews with members of the KAP Buntaran Lisawati auditor team on duty. The results show that the client company has fulfilled its tax obligations in reporting and withholding Income Tax Article 21, but it was found that there was a calculation error that required the company to make tax corrections. The auditor will record an adjustment journal of the correction of Income Tax Article 21, if the client company has met the requirements of the correction of Income Tax Article 21 and pays the tax from the recalculation in accordance with applicable regulations. Companies are given their respective responsibilities in their tax compliance independently, therefore it is necessary to be precise in calculating tax burdens before conducting tax reporting.

Abstract

Work Accident Insurance (JKK) is one of the programs provided by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan aimed at ensuring that workers are protected from the potential risks of accidents or misfortune while performing their duties. The purpose of this study is to understand and describe the implementation of the Work Accident Insurance (JKK) program for firefighters at the Medan Tuntungan Fire Department (UPT). This research applies a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. To collect data, the techniques used include interviews, analysis, observation, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the Work Accident Insurance program still faces challenges, such as the lack of understanding among firefighters about the benefits of JKK, the lack of knowledge on how to use JKK, and the insufficient cooperation between BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and the Fire Department. This study recommends further socialization and simplification of administrative procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the JKK worker protection program implementation.

Abstract

The conferral of this honorary title has sparked mixed reactions from the public, particularly on social media platforms, where diverse opinions are widely expressed. One of the most vocal groups is the virtual community known as the "Angry Community." This group consists of individuals who disagree with or are even outraged by the decision to grant the title. They utilize Platform X to voice their disapproval, share critiques, and engage in discussions about the meaning and relevance of honorary titles (H.C.), particularly in this case involving a public figure like Raffi Ahmad. Data was collected using three primary techniques: participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Participatory observation was conducted to monitor interactions within the community directly, while in-depth interviews with community members, social media experts, and cultural observers aimed to provide deeper insights. The findings reveal that solidarity within this virtual community is built upon shared values, such as respect for academia, disapproval of the blending of the celebrity and academic worlds, and appreciation for formal learning processes. The community’s reactions are not merely a form of protest but also reflect their respect for these principles.

Abstract

This study discusses the history, development, and schools of the Shi'ah madhhab. Shi'ah literally means follower or supporter, while this term refers to the followers of Ali ibn Abi Talib, who believed Ali to be the chosen caliph of the Prophet Muhammad and the most important companion. After the events of the Battle of Jamal and Shiffin, the Shi'ah split into four groups. First, moderate Shiites who follow Ali without condemning the companions and still glorify them. Second, Tafdhiliyah, who believed that Ali was superior to other companions, represented the Shi'ah today. Thirdly, Saba'iyah, who considered all the Companions of the Prophet infidels and grave sinners, was led by Abdullah ibn Saba’. Fourth, Ghulat, a group of extreme heretics, believe that God has entered into the Prophet Jesus.

Abstract

This study discusses the law of buying and selling gold on credit from the perspective of Islamic economics law. Gold has a special status in fiqh muamalah, especially because of its nature as a currency and commodity. In buying and selling transactions, certain conditions must be met, especially related to regulations or sharia principles regarding buying and selling related to usurious goods such as gold. Credit transactions, which allow payments to be made in installments or postponed, are controversial due to concerns about usury. This study will explore the views of scholars and Islamic financial institutions on this transaction, as well as recommendations for gold buying and selling practices in accordance with sharia principles. Buying and selling gold on credit is a contract for the transfer of assets such as gold from one person to another which is carried out through credit. This study aims to describe activities regarding buying and selling carried out through credit. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type, through a study of various literature and criticizing the problems found in the field if the sale contract. Sales carried out on credit in the context of gold as currency. Furthermore, sales on the law of gold buying and selling should only be able to trade gold when the contract is in cash and the value is the same, but if the status of gold is a commodity, then buying and selling gold on credit is permissible.

Abstract

This study analyzes the poverty rate in Papua Province through a multivariate statistical approach using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Papua faces complex challenges in the form of high poverty, social inequality, and low Human Development Index (HDI), exacerbated by difficult-to-access geography and limited infrastructure. Using secondary data from the Papua Province Central Statistics Agency, this study identified six main variables: the number of health workers, the number of poor people, the labor force participation rate, the percentage of households without sanitation facilities, the implicit price index of GRDP, and HDI. The results of the analysis show that these variables form two main factors: Demographic Social and Human Resources, which collectively explain 75.44% of the data variability. The Demographic Social factor covers access to facilities and social conditions of the community, while the Human Resources factor focuses on the quality of human resources in the region. However, although these two factors are significant, the model is considered less than optimal in summarizing all related variables. This study suggests the use of a lower significance level to strengthen the model and the development of more targeted government programs to overcome poverty in Papua. The PCA method used provides a focused picture to support more effective data-based policy making. Thus, this study contributes to mapping crucial factors to support sustainable development in Papua.
