Abstract

This comprehensive literature review investigates the critical importance of integrating mathematical literacy into the primary education curriculum. Despite acknowledged challenges in implementation, the long-term advantages for individual students and society are resoundingly underscored, positioning mathematical literacy not only as a pedagogical necessity but as a strategic investment in the future of education and national progress. Furthermore, this literature review goes beyond surveying existing research and academic journals; it represents a nuanced synthesis of diverse perspectives and findings. Abstract

This study delved into the complex dynamics surrounding the profound impact of religious education depth on interfaith tolerance levels within a multicultural society during globalization. Employing a mixed-methods research design, the investigation sought to provide a nuanced understanding by integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was grounded in a comprehensive literature review, identifying gaps and establishing the theoretical foundation for the study. The study aimed to ensure diverse perspectives by utilizing a stratified random sampling technique based on religious affiliation, educational background, and geographic location. Qualitative data collection involved in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, exploring participants' experiences and perceptions regarding the influence of religious education on interfaith tolerance. Concurrently, a quantitative phase utilized structured surveys with standardized scales to measure religious education depth, interfaith tolerance levels, and relevant demographics. Thematic analysis was applied to qualitative data, extracting patterns and themes, while quantitative data underwent statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics and correlation and regression analyses. Ethical considerations were paramount throughout the study, with participants providing informed consent and strict confidentiality measures in place. Triangulation of methods enhanced the validity and reliability of the study, contributing to a robust exploration of the intricate relationship between religious education and interfaith tolerance. This research offered valuable insights applicable to educational policies, societal initiatives, and global conversations on fostering peaceful coexistence amid religious diversity.

This literature review aims to examine the concept of prophetic leadership and its role in improving Islamic education institutions in Indonesia. The review is based on a comprehensive analysis of existing literature from various sources, including academic journals, books, and government reports. The study identifies key themes and trends related to prophetic leadership and its impact on Islamic education institutions in Indonesia. The review also discusses the challenges and limitations of implementing prophetic leadership principles in these institutions and proposes recommendations for future research and practice. future research should focus on developing practical guidelines for implementing prophetic leadership principles in Islamic education institutions in Indonesia while addressing any potential challenges or limitations that may arise during implementation efforts. These guidelines should be based on a comprehensive analysis of existing literature from various sources, including academic journals, books, and government reports, and should be designed to meet the specific needs of Islamic education institution leaders in Indonesia. The guidelines should also be accessible and affordable for all stakeholders, including those from low-income backgrounds or rural areas, and should promote accountability, transparency, financial sustainability, community engagement, leadership skills development, and innovation in Islamic education institutions in Indonesia.

Through a comprehensive analysis of key findings, the study unveils the curriculum's significant influence on student achievement, employability, and developing critical skills such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and adaptability. Despite initial implementation challenges, the curriculum showcases resilience and adaptability, evidenced by successful integration in educational settings. The implications for educational policy and practice are discussed, providing valuable insights for educators and policymakers seeking to enhance the curriculum's effectiveness. Looking forward, the study emphasizes the role of competency-based education in shaping a responsive and relevant education system. Ongoing research and incorporating international best practices are recommended to continually refine and optimize the Competency-Based Merdeka Curriculum, ensuring its adaptability and success in addressing the evolving demands of the 21st-century job market.
