Abstract

The research is a quasi-experimental that aimed to know the effect of discovery learning model by scientific approach toward student’s achievement in class X MS SMA Negeri 12 Bulukumba. The independent variable in this experiment was discovery learning model by scientific approach and the dependent variable was student’s achievement on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution subject matter. The population was class X MS SMA Negeri 12 Bulukumba that consisted of 140 students. Taking technique of sample was random sampling. The sample of this research consisted of two classes, namely class X MS2 as an experiment class with 26 students and class X MS3 as a control class with 25 students. The data of this research were gathered by testing the student’s achievement on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution subject matter. Data analysis technique was done by descriptive and inferential analysis. The hypothesis test by t-test was gathered tcalculated =2.68 more bigger than t(0.05;49)=2.00. Conclude that discovery learning model by scientific approach gives effected toward student’s achievement of class X MS SMA Negeri 12 Bulukumba on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution as subject matter.

Abstract

This research is quasi-experimental research that aims to know the effect of the problem based learning model (PBL) towards the learning outcomes of the students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar on the subject matter of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution, with posttest only group design. The population is the student of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar consisting of six classes. Sample was randomly selected and X MIPA4 as the experimental class and X MIPA5 class as the control. The experimental class was taught by using the PBL model while the control class was taught with conventional learning model. The learning outcomes data is taken by giving posttest. Learning outcomes data are processed in descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistical analysis showed that experimental class has higher learning outcomes completeness than control class with 74.29% and 51.52%. The test results for inferential statistical analysis hypotheses using the Mann Whitney test with α = 0.05 obtained Zcount (5.90) > Ztable (1.64). Based on these α values, it shows that there is an effect of the PBL model on the learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Makassar on the study of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD kimia melalui model PBL berbasis pembelajaran Islam melalui model PBL di SMAIT Ibnu Sina Makassar yang mampu memenuhi standar efisien, praktis dan efektif pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit. Metode Research and Development (R&D) yang digunakan mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Kriteria valid memperoleh nilai 4,5 ditentukan dari hasil evaluasi ahli yang mencakup aspek-aspek seperti desain, isi, bahasa dan muatan Islami LKPD. Kriteria praktis memperoleh tingkat keterlaksanaan yang tinggi terhadap penggunaan LKPD di kelas berdasarkan: hasil observasi aktivitas guru (IO) diperoleh nilai 4,4 dan hasil observasi peserta didik diperoleh nilai 4,3 sehingga memenuhi standar pencapaian yang diharapkan. Kriteria efektif memperoleh nilai tes evaluasi hasil belajar kognitif yaitu 76% peserta didik telah memenuhi nilai KKM, afektif diperoleh dari sikap positif peserta didik pada proses pembelajaran, dan psikomotorik terlihat pada respon peserta didik yang terampil dalam menjawab permasalahan pada LKPD. ABSTRACT This research aims to develop chemistry worksheets at SMAIT Ibnu Sina Makassar using a PBL model based on integrated Islamic learning that can reach efficient, practical, and effective requirements on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model is the Research and Development (R&D) process employed. The findings of expert reviews, which include characteristics such as design, content, language, and Islamic content of the LKPD, define the legitimate requirements for achieving a score of 4.5. The results of teacher activity observations (IO) received a score of 4.4, and the results of student observations received a score of 4.3 indicating that they were well-implemented. The successful requirements for achieving cognitive learning outcomes exam scores are that 76 percent of students have met the KKM scores, affective is determined by students' favorable attitudes toward the learning process, and psychomotor is determined by students' replies on the LKPD.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and compare critical thinking skills of students based on gender in class XI MIA of SMA Negeri 1 Maiwa. This comparational descriptive study aims to describe and compare critical thinking skills of students based on gender in class XI MIA of SMA Negeri 1 Maiwa were both classes were taught by using inquiry learning model. The instrument used in this study was observation sheet to measure the process of critical thinking skills and measure the product of critical thinking ability from achievement test. The achievement indicators of critical thinking skills in male and female classes by comparison indicators in giving a simple explanation achieved 41% and 46.3%, building up basic skills achieved 51% and 34.83%, organizing the strategy and tactics is achieved 52% and 25.89%, giving further explanation achieved 44% and 55.3%, and concluding achieved 60% and 58.92%. Achievement test values of critical thinking were analyzed using t-test of both classes where tcalculate < ttable, concluded that there was no difference in critical thinking skills of male and female students in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Maiwa through inquiry learning model in the chemical equilibrium subject.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara menerapkan langkah - langkah model pembelajaran NHT untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kelas XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Enrekang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kelas XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Enrekang yang terdiri dari 6 fase yaitu: (1) fase pendahuluan dengan memberikan apersepsi mengenai materi, indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran, (2) fase penomoran (numbering) dengan membagi peserta didik dalam beberapa kelompok secara heterogen dan member nomor kepada peserta didik dalam tiap kelompok berdasarkan kemampuan akademiknya, (3) fase pengajuan pertanyaan (Questioning), pada fase ini guru memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk bertanya mengenai materi yang belum dimengerti, (4) fase berpikir bersama (Heads Together), pada fase ini guru mendampingi dan membimbing peserta didik dalam kerja kelompok dan menyelesaikan LKPD lalu peserta didik menyatukan pendapatnya terhadap soal LKPD yang telah dikerjakan dan memastikan bahwa setiap anggota kelompok mengetahui jawaban dari pertanyaan yang diberikan, (5), fase menjawab (Answering), pada fase ini guru menunjuk peserta didik dari masing-masing kelompok berdasarkan nomor kepalanya untuk mempresentasikan hasil pekerjaannya, dan (6) fase penghargaan dengan memberikan pujian dan hadiah bagi kelompok terbaik. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Enrekang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar antara peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan peserta didik yang diajar dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Desain penelitian adalah “Posttest-Only Design”. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Selatan yang terdiri dari 10 kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik 350 orang, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah kelas X7 sebagai kelas eksperimen Jigsaw dan kelas X9 sebagai kelas eksperimen STAD. Jumlah peserta didik masing-masing kelas adalah 35 orang. Pengambilan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan pemberian posttest. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen Jigsaw pada posttest yaitu 77,6 dan kelas eksperimen STAD yaitu 71,2. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,75 dan pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan dk = 68 diperoleh ttabel = 1,99. Oleh karena itu, thitung > ttabel, maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, dimana hasil belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih tinggi dibandingkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Selatan pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Research design is “Posttest-Only Design”. Independent variable in this research was cooperative learning type Jigsaw and cooperative learning type STAD while dependent variable was learning achievement. Population in this research was all classes X Senior High School 1 south Sinjai that consisted of 10 classes with the number of students was 350 students, whereas research sample was class X7 as experiment class Jigsaw and class X9 as experiment class STAD. The number of students each class was 35 students. The collection of learning achievement data was done by giving posttest. Learning achievement that obtained was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Analysis results show that the learning achievement average of students in experiment class 1 on posttest is 77.6 and experiment class 2 is 71.2. The result of hypotheses testing that used t-test obtaining value of tcalculated = 2.75 and at significant level α = 0.05 with dk = 68 obtaining value of ttable = 1.99. Therefore, tcalculated > ttable, so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It shows that there is the difference of learning achievement than learn by cooperative learning model type Jigsaw and cooperative learning model type STAD. whereas student learning achievement that learn by Cooperative learning model type Jigsaw is higher than cooperative learning model type STAD grade X Senior High School 1 Sinjai Selatan on subject matter of chemical bonding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video animasi pada model Discovery Learning menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMAN 1 Soppeng pada materi pokok sistem koloid. Desain penelitian ini adalah Posttest-Only Control Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan uji validitas dan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik infrensial. Hasil uji validitas diperoleh sembilan soal dengan kriteria cukup dan 11 soal dengan validitas tinggi. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest peserta didik kelompok eksperimen yaitu 84,7 dan nilai rata-rata posttest peserta didik kelompok kontrol yaitu 52,5. Presentase ketuntasan untuk kelompok eksperimen adalah 97,36% dan kelompok kontrol 89,47%. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney, diperoleh asymp. Sig. < α (0,000 < 0,05) sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan media video animasi pada model Discovery Learning menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMAN 1 Soppeng studi pada materi pokok sistem koloid.

Abstract

This research aimed to students misconceptions on the concepts of acids and bases. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The instrument used is a Two-Tier diagnostic instrument with a total of 20 items. Based on the results of research that has been done, the percentage of students 'conceptual understanding is 24.2%, students' misconceptions are 39.5%, do not understand the concept of students by 36.6%. Teachers and students are one of the causes of misconceptions in class XI MIA 1 of SMA Negeri 7 Makassar on the subject matter of Acid Basa. The process of assimilation of the concept of students is not successful, the low interest in learning of students, the teacher does not provide a detailed explanation of the concept, the teacher only uses conventional learning models (lectures) ,. Based on the data and causes of misconceptions above, it can be concluded that students in class XI MIA 1 Makassar 7 State High School experienced misconceptions on the concept of acids and bases.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes of Chemical Bonds Basic Chemistry Subjects and determine the effect of VAK-based inquiry learning methods (Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic) on learning outcomes of Chemical Bonds Basic Chemistry Subjects. This research was conducted at SMK GKST I Tentena, Department of Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO), in class X (Ten), academic year 2021/2022. The hypothesis of this research is: the use of VAK-based inquiry learning methods can improve student learning outcomes. The results of this study clearly indicated that there was a positive and significant effect between the VAK-based inquiry learning method on learning outcomes for chemistry subjects.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pembelajaran di kelas XI APL SMKN 1 Tuban tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi masalah, menentukan akar dan solusi dari permasalahan. Dari tahapan tersebut, dirumuskan bahwa akar permasalahan yang terjadi adalah rendahnya keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Dan solusi untuk meningkatkannya adalah penerapan metode praktikum menggunakan model Discovery Learning (DL) dengan pendekatan TPACK-Saintific. Hal ini sesuai dengan tuntutan pembelajaran abad 21 yang menekankan pada tumbuhnya kreatifitas dan kemampuan berfikir kritis dari peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui hubungan peningkatan keaktifan dengan pemahaman peserta didik, dilakukan beberapa tes yaitu pre test, post test dan ulangan harian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran pada siklus 1 dan 2 adalah 67,3% dan 85%. (2) Peningkatan keaktifan dalam pembelajaran berdampak positif terhadap pemahaman peserta didik yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai ulangan harian yaitu dari 69,3 menjadi 83,3. Ketuntasan belajar peserta didik juga meningkat pada ulangan harian sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran yaitu dari 34,5 % menjadi 82,8%. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode praktikum dengan model Discovery Learning (DL) dapat meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dan yang berdampak pada peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi Titrasi Iodimetri. ABSTRACT - This research was conducted to solve learning problems in class XI APL SMKN 1 Tuban in the 2022/2023 academic year. The stages in this research are identifying problems, determining the roots and solutions of problems. From these stages, it is formulated that the root of the problem that occurs is the low activity of students in learning. And the solution to improve it is the application of the practicum method using the Discovery Learning (DL) model with the TPACK-Scientific approach. This is in accordance with the demands of 21st century learning which emphasizes the growth of creativity and critical thinking skills of students. Data collection is done by observation technique. Meanwhile, to find out the relationship between increased activeness and student understanding, several tests were carried out, namely the pre test, post test and daily tests. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The activeness of students in learning in cycles 1 and 2 is 67.3% and 85%. (2) Increased activeness in learning has a positive impact on students' understanding as indicated by an increase in the average daily test score, from 69.3 to 83.3. The learning completeness of students also increased in daily tests before and after learning, from 34.5% to 82.8%. Thus, the application of the practicum method with the Discovery Learning (DL) model can increase the activity of students and which has an impact on increasing students' understanding of the material of Iodimetric Titration..
