Abstract

The principal's goal in creating an innovative environment is to improve the quality of learning, develop student creativity, encourage collaboration between student teachers and parents, facilitate teacher professional development and utilize technology as a support in the learning process. This is considered important. School principals have a significant influence on improving educational standards. They are tasked with managing schools, planning educational events, training teachers, and utilizing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities. The results of this research are that school principals need to take various steps to create an innovative learning environment. These steps include formulating a vision and mission that supports innovation, providing resources, and encouraging collaboration. Through effective leadership, school principals can create an environment that supports creativity, active participation, and a meaningful learning process. The role of the principal in the learning environment is very important to create an atmosphere that is conducive to students' academic and social development. School principals have a crucial role in determining the quality and success of learning in schools. By being a visionary instructional leader, school principals can ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their maximum potential in learning. In addition, school principals play a role in supporting teacher professional development, creating a conducive learning environment, utilizing data for improvement, and establishing good relationships with the community.

Abstract

The diversity of religions and cultures in Indonesia presents its own challenges in maintaining harmony in the school environment. The school principal has an important role as a leader who is able to create an inclusive and conducive atmosphere for the realization of religious harmony and moderation. This research aims to analyze the role of the principal's inclusive leadership in building harmony between religious communities and implementing the values of religious moderation in schools. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through in-depth interviews, observation and literature study.. The research results show that school principals who implement inclusive leadership tend to be successful in creating an environment that respects differences and promotes interfaith dialogue. The policies taken, such as organizing interfaith activities and involving students in moderated discussions, are effective in instilling the values of tolerance and mutual respect. In addition, inclusive school principals are able to identify and resolve potential conflicts by prioritizing a fair and transparent approach. These findings show that inclusive leadership contributes significantly to creating a tolerant and harmonious school culture amidst diversity. This research concludes that the principal's inclusive leadership plays an important role in promoting religious moderation in schools. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for school principals and education policy makers in designing strategies that support an inclusive, safe and tolerant school environment..

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peran penting dari bimbingan efektif yang diberikan oleh pendidik dalam keberhasilan pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang tidak hanya menyampaikan materi teoritis tetapi juga memotivasi dan membimbing siswa dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai moral dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengamatan proses pembelajaran pada MA Al-Islam kelas 12 Joresan Ponorogo mengungkapkan penggunaan pendekatan bertahap, diskusi kelas, refleksi pribadi, dan metode pembelajaran aktif. Langkah-langkah ini bertujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman siswa tentang Akidah Akhlak dan membantu mereka menerapkan nilai-nilai ini dalam situasi kehidupan nyata secara efektif. Namun, penelitian ini juga menyoroti tantangan yang terus-menerus, seperti pengaruh negatif lingkungan sosial dan kurangnya motivasi diri di antara siswa. Mengatasi masalah ini membutuhkan pendekatan pribadi yang mempertimbangkan kebutuhan siswa individu dan memperkuat kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Upaya kolaboratif tersebut sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung dan memastikan keberhasilan pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak dalam jangka panjang, baik dalam aspek akademik maupun pengembangan karakter.

Abstract

Leadership in the educational environment plays a very important role in creating a conducive learning atmosphere. As with participatory leadership, the role of the school principal is not only as a decision-maker but also as a facilitator who encourages the participation of teachers and students. This approach is expected to promote the involvement of all parties in the decision-making process related to education. Teacher involvement is a key element in creating an effective learning environment. In addition to teachers, student involvement is also very important in making decisions related to school policies.The method used in this article is a literature study, which is a data collection approach by reviewing and understanding theories from various literature sources relevant to the research topic. Data collection is done by searching for and constructing information from various sources, such as books, journals, and previous research.The role of the principal in making and taking decisions, with responsibility for results that align with the issues at hand, and the involvement of teachers in decision-making, has a significant impact on improving teacher quality, such as mastery of subject matter and teaching techniques, as well as from the aspects of morale, work ethics, and motivation in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. Additionally, involving students in decision-making allows them to think critically and analytically. This participatory leadership is very important for the principal in the decision-making process because it involves teachers and students, thereby forming a shared goal that creates a conducive and comfortable learning environment.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pendidikan tidak hanya bergantung pada kualitas pembelajaran, tetapi juga pada bagaimana konflik yang terjadi dalam lingkungan sekolah dapat dikelola dengan baik. Konflik antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua sering kali muncul akibat perbedaan persepsi, harapan, atau kebutuhan yang tidak terpenuhi. Artikel ini mengkaji peran kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi konflik tersebut dengan pendekatan kepemimpinan yang efektif. Kepala sekolah, sebagai pemimpin dalam komunitas pendidikan, diharapkan memiliki kemampuan untuk menciptakan komunikasi yang terbuka dan mendukung kolaborasi antara berbagai pihak yang terlibat. Melalui gaya kepemimpinan yang inklusif, adaptif, dan berbasis pada pemecahan masalah, kepala sekolah dapat mengidentifikasi sumber konflik, meredakan ketegangan, dan menciptakan lingkungan yang harmonis. Pendekatan yang diterapkan meliputi mediasi, pembinaan hubungan interpersonal, serta pengembangan kebijakan yang adil dan transparan. Temuan dari artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang efektif dalam menangani konflik dapat meningkatkan kualitas interaksi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua, yang pada gilirannya mendukung terciptanya iklim pendidikan yang lebih kondusif dan produktif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies of school principals in improving teacher professionalism at Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Panjeng (YPIP) Panjeng. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that the principal at YPIP Panjeng implements leadership strategies, including structured academic supervision, teacher empowerment through training, and the development of collaborative school culture among teachers. The principal also adopts a transformational leadership style that focuses on motivation and support for teachers. However, challenges such as limited funding for training and resistance to change from some teachers remain obstacles in the implementation of these strategies. This study concludes that effective school leadership can enhance teacher professionalism, but continuous efforts are required to overcome the existing challenges for optimal results

Abstract

The success of education does not only depend on the quality of learning, but also on how conflicts within the school environment are effectively managed. Conflicts between teachers, students, and parents often arise due to differences in perceptions, expectations, or unmet needs. This article examines the role of school principals in addressing such conflicts through effective leadership approaches. As leaders within the educational community, principals are expected to have the ability to foster open communication and support collaboration among the various parties involved. Through an inclusive, adaptive, and problem-solving leadership style, principals can identify the sources of conflict, ease tensions, and create a harmonious environment. The approaches applied include mediation, fostering interpersonal relationships, and developing fair and transparent policies. The findings of this article suggest that effective school leadership in conflict resolution can improve the quality of interactions between teachers, students, and parents, which in turn contributes to the creation of a more conducive and productive educational climate.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) adalah jenjang pendidikan sebelum pendidikan dasar, yang merupakan suatu upaya pembinaan yang ditujukan bagi anak sejak lahir sampai dengan usia enam tahun. Salah satu lembaga prasekolah adalah Raudlatul Athfal yang membina anak usia 4-6 tahun. Setelah anak memasuki masa itu, anak akan mulai belajar mandiri dan berdiri sendiri lepas pengawasan dari orang tua atau pengasuh. belajar bermasyarakat, menyesuaikan diri dengan kelompok dan mengembangkan keterbukaan. Orang tualah yang memegang peran penting dalam mendidik anak untuk memiliki karakter mandiri. Di lapangan peneliti menemukan adanya siswa yang dalam tanggungjawab menyelesaikan tugas sekolah anak masih kurang mandiri, kurang telaten, tidak sabar, terpengaruh oleh teman, dan asal-asalan, serta kurang mampu dalam mengendalikan uang jajan. Untuk itu, perlunya ditingkatkan kemandirian anak itu melalui implementasi pola asuh orang tua. Dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan metodologi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan rumusan masalah; (1) Bagaimana pola asuh orang tua pada anak di RA Muslimat NU 076 Jalen Ngrukem Mlarak Ponorogo?, (2) Bagaimana kondisi kemandirian anak di RA Muslimat NU 076 Jalen Ngrukem Mlarak Ponorogo?, (3) Bagaimana dampak pola asuh orang tua pada kemandirian anak di RA Muslimat NU 076 Jalen Ngrukem Mlarak Ponorogo?.Dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Pola asuh orang tua yang diterapkan pada anak di RA Muslimat NU 076 adalh pola asuh demokratis. Pengasuhannya diantaranya adalah tidak memaksakan kehendak kepada anak, tidak memberikan kebebasan yang penuh kepada anak, serta mempertimbangkan setiap keputusan anak, memberikan solusi dan masukan kepada anak, (2) Kondisi kemandirian di RA Muslimat NU 076 Jalen Ngrukem Mlarak Ponorogo telah dijadwalkan setiap hari, orang tua juga telah mengupayakan kemandirian anak selama di rumah, oleh karena itu sebagian besar anak kemandiriannya sudah baik., (3) Dampak pola asuh orang tua pada kemandirian anak, bahwa sebagian besar orang tua telah menerapkan pola asuh demokratis kepada anak sehingga kemandirian anak di RA Muslimat NU 076 Jalen Ngrukem Mlarak Ponorogo sudah baik.
