Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of service quality and product quality on customer satisfaction with the E-Banking Byond BSI product in a study of Uin Raden Intan Lampung students. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires involving 100 respondents. The analysis results show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a p-value of 0.000. Product quality also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a p-value of 0.015. These findings indicate that the better the quality of service provided by Byon BSI and the more credible the services offered to customers, the greater the customer satisfaction in using the Byond BSI application. These two variables are interrelated; the quality of the product and the quality of the service have a very close relationship with customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of Islamic business ethics principles in sales practices at Dzaky Kosmetik, a local cosmetics store in Kendari City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research design to explore how Islamic business ethics are implemented in sales practices. A qualitative approach was deemed suitable as it allows an in-depth understanding of behaviors, values, and perceptions that cannot be quantified but are critical to evaluating ethical practices from an Islamic perspective. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the principles of honesty (?idq) and balance (?adl) are implemented quite well, particularly in price transparency and product authenticity. However, the principles of unity (taw??d), free will (ikhtiy?r), and responsibility (am?nah) have not been implemented thoroughly. The lack of consumer education and the absence of a structured complaint mechanism are important weaknesses. This study concludes that a deeper internalization of Islamic values is needed to maintain ethical consistency and strengthen consumer trust in the business sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Land and Building Tax (PBB) collection and its contribution to state revenues during the period from 2019 to 2023. The method employed is a descriptive quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data analysis derived from PBB revenue realization reports and State Budget (APBN) data. Effectiveness is measured by comparing PBB revenue realization with the target, while contributions are analyzed based on the proportion of PBB to total state revenues. The results show that PBB collection is highly effective, with an average effectiveness above 100% for five consecutive years. However, its contribution to state revenues is very low, ranging from only 0.89% to 1.29%. This finding suggests that, although PBB collection administration has been operating optimally, its fiscal potential has not been fully realized. This study recommends reforming the property tax system, including updating taxable object data, increasing public tax literacy, and digitizing the regional tax administration system, to significantly increase PBB's contribution to state revenues.

Abstract

Poverty in South Buton Regency reflects a complex multidimensional challenge, characterized by disparities in access to education, health, infrastructure, and economic opportunities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to identify the main determinants of poverty in the region, by analyzing regional planning documents such as the 2025-2030 PRSP as well as secondary data from BPS and academic literature. The results show that poverty in South Buton is not just a matter of low income, but is closely related to geographical isolation, limited infrastructure, dependence on the informal sector, as well as institutional fragmentation in program implementation. By referring to Amartya Sen's capability approach and Alkire-Foster's multidimensional poverty index, this study emphasizes the importance of contextual, cross-sectoral, and area-based poverty reduction strategies. The findings are expected to strengthen policy planning that is more inclusive, responsive, and effective in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the poverty alleviation target (Goal 1) at the local level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and explain the influence of service quality, brand image, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, both simultaneously and partially. Data collection was conducted using a structured questionnaire distributed to all customers. The population and sample of this study consisted of all 40 customers of PT. Mentari Mas Multimoda Kendari. The analytical tool used was multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software version 25. The results of the study indicate that, simultaneously, service quality, brand image, and customer satisfaction have a significant influence on customer loyalty. Partially: (1) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, (2) Brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, and (3) Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. These findings indicate that enhancing these three variables is crucial in building customer loyalty for the company. Practical implications suggest that management should focus on optimizing service quality and strengthening brand image. Limitations of the study include a small sample size & a geographically limited scope restricted to Kendari City

Abstract

Buton Utara Regency has been a new autonomous region since 2007 as a result of the division of Muna Regency. The local government has implemented various development programs to improve its economic performance after the division. The objective of this study is to assess the economic performance of Buton Utara Regency as a new autonomous region. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive with an observation period from 2010 to 2023. The research findings indicate that the economic performance of Buton Utara Regency is better than that of Muna Regency in several indicators, namely economic growth, per capita GDP, and human development index (HDI) growth. However, regarding HDI values, the poverty depth index and poverty severity index show that Buton Utara Regency’s performance is lower than that of Muna Regency. Key findings indicate that fluctuations in economic growth and HDI performance categorized as moderate reflect challenges in economic stability. Policy implications emphasize the need for strengthening priority sectors and effective poverty alleviation programs based on data. The limitations of the study lie in the less in-depth analytical approach, which has not yet captured the complexity of the interplay between variables.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of environmental accounting (green accounting) through environmentally friendly initiatives that impact the production cost structure at Reban Lestari Poultry Farm, Kolaka. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, emphasizing a deep understanding of the research object based on factual data obtained in the field. This approach is considered appropriate for examining the application of green accounting through a case study at the farm, with a focus on interpreting meaning rather than generalizing results. The data sources comprised both primary and secondary data, collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that initiatives such as water sterilization, fly control, waste processing, and the use of energy-saving lamps contribute to increased overhead cost efficiency and support productivity. However, the application of green accounting in financial reporting remains limited, as evidenced by the incomplete financial statements only income statements are prepared, without balance sheets or accompanying notes thus failing to fully reflect the principles of environmental accounting.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Reward and Punishment on Employee Performance at Hush Bazaar Division, Tangerang Branch. This study uses a quantitative approach with associative analysis. This study uses field observation techniques by distributing questionnaires to 60 employees at Hush Bazaar Division, which includes area coordinators and sales officers. The measurement scale uses Ordinal 'Likert'. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out through several stages, namely validity testing, reliability testing,coefficient of determination (R2) testing, and hypothesis testing. The Reward variable was not proven to have a significant effect on Employee Performance. Then, the Punishment variable was proven to have a significant effect on Employee Performance, while both, namely the Reward and Punishment variables, were proven to have a simultaneous effect on Employee Performance at Hush Bazaar Division, Tangerang Branch, and contributed 46.8 percent

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how job autonomy affects creative work practices among 2024 probationary lecturer at Halu Oleo University, using self-leadership techniques as a mediating variable. A closed-ended questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale was used to gather data using a quantitative causal-associative technique. The questionnaire was disseminated online using Google Forms. Using a census method, a final sample of 75 respondents was selected from the population, which included 93 lecturers. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the data. with SmartPLS software. The results show that job autonomy has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior and self-leadership strategies. Furthermore, self-leadership strategies have a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior and mediate the relationship between job autonomy and innovative work behavior. These findings highlight that granting adequate job autonomy, combined with the development of self-leadership skills, plays a crucial role in fostering innovative work behavior among lecturers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of service quality and customer trust on customer satisfaction. Service quality is measured through the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, while customer trust is measured based on the aspects of honesty, benevolence, and competence. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis techniques. Research data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 55 customer respondents. The results showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, indicating that the better the customer's perception of service reliability and responsiveness, the higher the level of satisfaction felt. Customer trust was found to have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. This means that when customers feel that the service is honest, transparent, and consistent, their level of satisfaction increases. The practical implication of this study is that it is necessary to continuously improve service quality standards and maintain transparency and accountability in order to strengthen customer trust, thereby achieving long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
