Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes by using the cooperative learning model teams games tournament in the subject of PJOK. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this study were grade 1 elementary school students. The subjects consisted of one class consisting of 22 students. The results of the study showed that student learning outcomes increased in each cycle. The average value of students increased in the pre-cycle stage, getting an average score of 72, in cycle 1 80, and in cycle 2 83. Similarly, the percentage of completeness also increased, namely in the pre-cycle 45%, in cycle 1 getting 77%, and in cycle 2 getting 86%. The application of this cooperative learning model can also increase student learning activities. Student learning activities are directed according to the learning model used so that the learning process can take place properly. Based on the results of the study, the application of this TGT cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes and the percentage of student completeness in the subject of PJOK.

Dwiana Amanatul Khasanah. UTILIZATION OF ANIMATED VIDEO LEARNING MEDIA TO INCREASE STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION IN PAI SUBJECT CLASS XI AT SMK TAKHASUS AL-QUR'AN WONOSOBO. Thesis, Wonosobo: Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Al-Qur'an Science University of Central Java in Wonosobo, 2025. The objectives of this study are: (1) to explore the concept of utilizing learning media to improve students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Takhasus Al-Qur’an, (2) to examine the implementation of animated video learning media for 11th-grade students at SMK Takhasus Al-Qur’an Wonosobo, and (3) to investigate the improvement in learning motivation through the use of animated video learning media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for 11th-grade students at SMK Takhasus Al-Qur’an Wonosobo. This study employed a quantitative quasi-experimental method, using tests, questionnaires, and documentation as research instruments.The results of the study show that: (1) the concept of utilizing learning media as a primary step in teaching indicates that animated video learning media offers effective and concrete steps to foster and enhance students’ motivation and learning outcomes in PAI subjects. (2) The implementation of learning media in the experimental class using animated video provided an attractive and unlimited space for students to gain experiences that facilitate better understanding of the taught materials. The learning media or the methods used in delivering the subject matter significantly influence students' comprehension. (3) The improvement of learning motivation through the use of animated video learning media in Islamic Religious Education for 11th-grade students at SMK Takhasus Al-Qur’an Wonosobo is proven by the learning outcomes, where the experimental class achieved an N-Gain score of 58.7%, compared to 30% in the control class. The increase in students' learning motivation was evidenced by an N-Gain score of 73% in the experimental class and 36% in the control class. The application of animated video learning media in PAI subjects is quite effective in enhancing students’ learning motivation, particularly on the topic of "Living in Peace with Tolerance and Avoiding Acts of Violence."

Abstract

In the era of globalization, PT Garuda Indonesia faces challenges in intercultural communication in its global work environment. Differences in language, values, and communication styles can affect internal coordination and customer service. To address this, Garuda Indonesia implements strategies such as cross-cultural communication training, the use of international languages, and strengthening an organizational culture that values ​​diversity. These strategies have proven effective in preventing miscommunication and creating an inclusive and adaptive work culture. It is recommended that training be continuously updated, interactive communication spaces developed, and culturally sensitive leaders recruited to strengthen synergy and global competitiveness. With this approach, Garuda Indonesia can maintain professional performance and build a positive image in the international arena.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in determining an individual's social position in society and serves as a means to promote social mobility. However, the reality in Indonesia reveals a significant disparity in access to education between urban and rural areas due to social stratification. This study aims to examine how social stratification affects access to basic education, particularly in the context of geographical and socioeconomic differences. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, this article analyzes relevant literature on educational inequality, its impact on school-aged children, and potential strategies to address the issue. The findings indicate that children in rural areas face various challenges, including limited educational facilities, a shortage of qualified teachers, and difficult geographical conditions. Meanwhile, in urban areas, although facilities are more complete, economic factors remain a major barrier for underprivileged groups. This inequality leads to low school participation, poor literacy, and decreased learning motivation among students. Therefore, comprehensive strategies such as equitable zoning policies, scholarships, development of educational infrastructure, and cross-sector collaboration are needed to ensure equal and inclusive access to education for all members of society.

Abstract

Physical Education is a learning process through physical activities that is designed to improve physical fitness, develop motor skills, knowledge, healthy living behaviors, active, sportsmanship, and emotional intelligence. The learning experiences presented will help students understand why humans move and how to do safe, efficient and effective movements. This study aims the existence of a problem-action planaction-evaluation and reflection action. The subjects used were all students of KELAS XII-2 SMA Negeri 7Kediri in the 2024/2025 academic year as many as 32 students. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) The results of this study indicate that with the learning model with the approach to play in learning there is an impact of changes in motivation and at the same time a student's physical fitness level. This is because they can learn while playing. With this activity students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities can develop

Abstract

Herefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the drill method in improving students' underhand passing skills.This study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a quantitative approach. The research subjects consist of 34 students from Class XII-3 at SMA Negeri 7 Kediri. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments of underhand passing skills before and after the implementation of the drill method. Data analysis techniques include the Paired Sample t-Test to measure students’ skill improvement. The results indicate that the drill method significantly impacts the improvement of underhand passing skills. Statistical analysis reveals a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with an average increase of 2.44 points. Additionally, the correlation between pretest and posttest scores shows a strong relationship, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.649 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05).The conclusion of this study is that the drill method is effective in enhancing students' underhand passing skills. Repetitive training enables students to refine their techniques, improve movement coordination, and boost their confidence in playing volleyball. Therefore, the drill method is recommended as an effective training strategy for volleyball instruction in schools.

Abstract

Conflicts and divorce in a household are sometimes triggered by differences in sexual orientation, although this issue has not been widely discussed in detail from the perspective of Islamic law or Indonesian positive law. This article aims to examine the dispute resolution mechanisms and legal consequences that arise due to differing sexual orientations in marriage, from the perspectives of Islamic law and Indonesian marriage law. This study uses a normative legal method with a statute and conceptual approach. Data were drawn from primary and secondary legal sources and analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that under Islamic law, disputes may be resolved through mediation, conditional divorce (ta’liq talak), or annulment (fasakh). In contrast, Indonesian law allows divorce on grounds of disharmony, though it lacks explicit regulation on sexual orientation. Legal consequences include marital status, child custody, alimony, and division of property. Although not clearly regulated, interpretive flexibility enables judges to issue decisions based on justice and the best interests of the child.

Abstract

This study discusses the effectiveness of the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach as an effort to improve the learning outcomes of volleyball underhand passing in grade IV students of SDN Bulusari 1. The design of this study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR is a research approach designed to improve learning practices in the classroom with the aim of providing a more comprehensive picture of the situations and practices that occur in the classroom, as well as to improve the overall quality of learning. Data collection in this study was carried out through two cycles, with a total of six meetings. The location of the study was at SDN Bulusari 1, Tarokan District, Kediri Regency, East Java. The sampling used was cluster random sampling where the selection process was carried out randomly. The sample used was grade IV (four) students with a total of 28 students. Analysis of research data on the volleyball underhand passing learning process used the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning underhand passing will show an increase in percentage from cycle I to cycle II, namely from 73.9% to 86.4%. In addition, the percentage of student completion in cycle I reached 57.14%, then increased significantly to 92.85% in cycle II.

Abstract

Language, art, and traditions in Indonesia remain alive and continue to develop. Pencak Silat is a highly renowned martial art that is widely practiced both domestically and internationally. This martial art carries cultural, moral, and spiritual values that have been passed down through generations. It is not merely a sport or a means of self-defense. Within the martial art of Pencak Silat, there are various symbols that hold deep and significant meanings. This research aims to determine the meanings of the symbols used in Pencak Silat in Indonesia. The study utilizes the concepts of intercultural communication and symbolic meaning theory to analyze the data gathered. The methodology employed in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive nature, using data collection techniques based on phenomenology. The data analysis techniques used in this study include direct observation and in-depth interviews with several informants who are actively involved in the practice of Pencak Silat. Based on the interviews, the researcher obtained information about the training process in Pencak Silat, which consists of three stages: the opening ceremony, intensive training, and the closing ceremony. The research also identified many symbols in Pencak Silat, such as spoken words embodied in movements, shouts, and musical accompaniment; objects like training uniforms, belts, and protective gear; and bodily movements like horse stances, guarding stances, attacks, training places, and promotion test events. All the symbols found in this research carry significant meanings related to the formation of personal character. These meanings are influenced by moral, social, cultural, and religious values that become the foundation for each person involved directly in Pencak Silat. This study also shows that Pencak Silat is not just a martial art but also a representation of Indonesia’s cultural diversity and identity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Total Physical Response (TPR) technique in optimizing the memorization of Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) of class XI N students at MAN 4 Jombang. The TPR technique is a language learning strategy that combines verbal instructions with physical responses, resulting in a dynamic and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Through a qualitative descriptive strategy, information collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research output shows that the implementation of the TPR technique is able to optimize students' memorization abilities for mufrodat, produce an interactive classroom atmosphere, and make students more dynamic in the learning process. However, there are obstacles such as the less than optimal use of this technique during afternoon lessons and limitations in teaching abstract vocabulary. This research provides an important contribution to the development of contextual and enjoyable Arabic language learning strategies, especially in terms of vocabulary mastery.
