Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in students' critical thinking using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Guided Inquiry learning models on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. This research was conducted at SMAN 17 Medan in the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 17 Medan. The sample of this study was class X IPA 5 as the experimental class I which was taught using the Problem Based Learning model and X IPA 6 as the experimental class II which was taught using the Guided Inquiry learning model. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in learning outcomes between the two classes with an average posttest score of students in experimental class I of 74 and an average posttest score of students in experimental class II of 82. The ability to think critically in experimental class I is prominent/dominant in analytical skills. The ability to think critically in experiment II is dominant in the ability to argue, evaluate and conclude.

Abstract

The aim is to explain the concept and principle of investment against the view of Islamic law. In Islamic law, investment is seen as an investment activity to earn income. However, sharia principles prohibit the use of riba or interest-based loans. Islam encourages people to engage in productive activities by investing in their businesses. This research method is carried out through the discovery of indirectly finding data sourced from various sources or references. On the other hand, technical input discussions are carried out using leaving conclusions. The results of this examination illustrate that the existence of the sharia asset market in Indonesia is an important part in giving up long-term funding flexibility for money owners. This stands from the increase in value of Islamic money owners every year. The market value of parts of Indonesia and the Sharia Stock Index is also creeping age meaningfully sourced day by day. This shows that the Islamic asset market holds intelligence to move the national economy. Investing in the Islamic asset market can be oriented near a fairer incentive money supply and strengthen the happy incentive money to bypass taxes. This study also shows that the Islamic asset market is compatible with the passion of money owners who hold religious ideals to allow their investment to be compatible with sharia beliefs. In funding, sharia ethics on what is permissible, what is prohibited, and the effects that are similar to integrated fragments are sourced from funding designs.

Abstract

Diversity is a necessity that should be run without rejection. In recent times, diversity comes with a variety of truth claims that lead to the recognition and arrogance of the existence of himself and his group, giving birth to an intolerant attitude. The trigger of the problem is a mistake in capturing the message of tolerance from religion so that its adherents appear with different faces. Based on these problems, researchers are interested in exploring how the interpretation of Ibn Kathir and M. Quraysh Shihab related religious tolerance as well as the implications of the socio-historical background of both on the interpretation. The approach used in this study is qualitative with comparative study method. The data collection technique in the form of literature and observation studies were analyzed in the data collection technique in the form of descriptive analysis with the method of comparative analysis (analytical-comparative method) as for the theory used to strengthen as a surgical research tool is the theory of genetic structuralism of Lucien Goldmann who explained that a work or text is the work of the author in this case the elements as the author of the text as well as historical facts that condition the emergence of such works or texts. The results showed that there are differences in the tendency of interpretation as well as interpretation between Ibn Kathir and M. Quraish Shihab. In general, both agree on how coercion in embracing religion is not allowed, it's just that Ibn Kathir directs the meaning of religious tolerance with applicable restrictions and conditions.

Abstract

The concept of naskh and mansukh is very important to understand the development of Islamic law. With the existence of texts, the last verses of the Qur'an that were revealed are considered more valid and replace the previous verses. This study aims to examine the concepts of naskh (cancellation) and mansukh (absolute cancellation) in Muhammad Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy's Tafsir Al-Qur'anul Majid An-Nur, and identify their implementation in the interpretation of Al-Qur'anic verses. In his commentary, Ash-Shiddieqy identifies verses that are considered as texts and mansukh, and explains the relationship between these verses. The research method used is text analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that Muhammad Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy paid considerable attention to the concepts of naskh and mansukh in his interpretations. He described how changes to law or shari'a provisions were carried out through texts and mansukh. Apart from that, Ash-Shiddieqy also gave an explanation of the purpose and wisdom behind the cancellation of these verses. These previous studies have related or intersected the same problem, but in a very different context. This research makes an important contribution in understanding Muhammad Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy's view of the concept of naskh and mansukh in the interpretation of the Qur'an. These findings can provide better insight into how a contemporary scholar understands and applies the concepts of naskh and mansukh in the interpretation of the Qur'an.

Abstract

The 1945 Constitution emphasizes that one of the goals of the state is to educate the life of the nation. This is relevant to the 1945 Constitution No. 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system which states that every citizen has the right to education. In this case the government is responsible for progress in national education Then, from that, various schools emerged by developing models and systems adapted to the needs of the community and the condition of the nation's children who were not free from all deficiencies in learning, both in terms of achievement and character. As a formal educational institution, the school carries out various innovations to integrate the development of character education with the Boarding School, particularly through a pesantren-based education system. One approach is through the pesantren system, which is a social institution that places great emphasis on developing students' character in addition to their academic understanding. To get to know Al-Ghifari Terpadu Islamic Boarding School further, it is a school with private status, which was founded in 1998 and is located on Jl. Selabintana KM. 6, 7, Selabatu, Sudajaya Girang, Kec. Sukabumi, Sukabumi Regency, West Java 43151. In terms of the quality of education, Al-Ghifari Integrated Middle School has been accredited “A”. and certainly has won many achievements in various championships. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Where the researcher tested the validity of the data by means of Source Triangulation, namely by conducting interviews with school heads and educators and teaching staff which was conducted on April 15 2023 and followed up with periodic communications. The findings of the researchers, in addition to getting a very extraordinary experience, the authors get various lessons out of the ordinary. Where the author knows a lot about the various education systems in it so as to increase knowledge and schools with a boarding school system are considered quite effective in building the character, character and morals of students so that they are maintained.

Abstract

Learning mathematics is a subject that prohibits thinking logically, systemati-cally, and rationally, so that this subject is important for students to learn. However, the facts show that there are still many students who are not interested in mathematics, so they have difficulty understanding the material. In the learning process, class teachers only rely on conventional methods in the learning process of mathematics and do not maximize the use of learning media, especially those based on technology, so there is a need for a touch of innova-tion in the application of learning media to learning mathematics. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of interactive PPT media when applied to a school that can be classified as being in a rural area with minimal use of tech-nology in the learning process. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method by taking all actions on the object of research. The method of data analysis was carried out by carrying out several test stages, namely the classical assumption test and the one sample t test using a test tool in the form of SPSS version 22. The study was conducted on all 31 students of class V, totaling 31 students. The data collection instrument used was a test related to fractional material. Based on the results of the research and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that in-active PPT media is effective to be applied in learning mathematics, especially in fraction material at SD N 6 Dauhwaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the background, process, social function and meaning of the Pappassoq Fisherman's Party Traditional Ceremony for the fishermen community in Baurung Village. This study uses interviews, direct observation and documentation. The results showed that the background for the appearance of the pappassoq traditional ceremony was the existence of a mandate from their ancestors for generations, as a form of gratitude for the abundant catch of fish. Pappassoq is held once a year in December, under the lambe tree. Pappassoq's social functions are spiritual functions, social solidarity functions, entertainment functions and economic functions. The meaning of Pappassoq is the meaning of the people's belief in myths and the occult, the meaning in prayer as a form of hope and the meaning of the symbols used in carrying out the ceremony.

Abstract

The research was intended to see the effect of the learning outcomes of the contextual teaching learning model with the type of pretest posttest control group experimental research. The study involved tenth grade students at Hati Suci High School, Central Jakarta as a population. The experimental class and control class were designed using cluster random sampling. Test as data collection by conducting a t test. The results of the analysis show the posttest analysis of the experimental class and the control class, namely 0.05, obtained t count 4.96 and t table 1.65, so t count > t table, the mean value is greater than the tests conducted for the experimental and control classes, the average class activity of students reached 76.22 with good criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the influence of the contextual teaching learning model influences the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Hati Suci, Central Jakarta..

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of pancasila student profiles in junior high schools, especially the value of global diversity in overcoming the national identity crisis that students are currently experiencing. The research subjects were grade 7 junior high school students who applied merdeka curriculum. The research was conducted with descriptive qualitative. Interviews and documentation are techniques used for data collection. While the analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the implementation of pancasila student profiles in schools is not optimal, especially the value of global diversity. So that the relation to overcoming the national identity crisis experienced by students cannot be carried out properly due to the many obstacles that arise from the students and teachers.

Abstract

Connecting the development of science with religion makes human beings have an important role in widespread knowledge, both secular and ukhrawi. As a grip in living life interrelated with each other to complement and solve the problems that occurred in this and future generations so that science and religion can give influence both from various groups of Islamic people and other religions. Research methods that use descriptive analytics aim to clearly describe the object that is naturally studied. King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) became the first educational institution in Saudi Arabia to allow male and female students to sit in one room, guarantee creative freedom, and implement the highest international standards in terms of research and education supported by state-of-the-art laboratories. The development of this project in the field of science and technology directs its research programs to support the future of Saudi Arabia in the post-oil era, in areas of research that exploit solar energy and modern agriculture in extremely rough, dry, and hot climates. With the advancement of science and technology, man can glorify the earth of God.
