Jurnal Kapuas adalah Media Publikasi Elektronik Artikel Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat yang dikelola oleh Unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (UPPM) Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Ruang Lingkup kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dapat berupa sosialisasi, penyuluhan, pendampingan hingga transformasi IPTEK kepada Masyarakat guna meningkatkan kompetensi dan taraf hidup masyarakat melalui kegiatan yang terstruktur. Bidang keilmuan publikasi artikel yang dimuat dapat mencakup bidang ilmu rekayasa dan non rekayasa. Redaksi menerima artikel dari praktisi dan akademisi melalui kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan secara mandiri maupun melalui pendanaan lembaga tertentu agar dapat dipublikasikan secara umum dan dapat diakses dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Frekuensi publikasi artikel secara berkala sebanyak dua kali yakni pada bulan Januari dan Juli pada tiap tahun terbitan.

Abstract

Pulau Kabung merupakan bagian dari gugusan pulau-pulau kecil Desa Karimunting, Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Kabupaten Bengkayang, Kalimantan Barat. Sebagian besar masyarakat adalah nelayan dan petani. Apabila kondisi cuaca tidak mendukung untuk melaut, masyarakat akan menyuling daun cengkeh menjadi minyak atsiri, dan beberapa masyarakat memanfaatkan lahan yang mereka punya untuk Bertani cabai. Penyulingan minyak cengkeh dan hasil perikanan menghasilkan limbah yang cukup banyak dan belum diolah. Limbah yang menumpuk dan tidak diolah menyebabkan lingkungan yang tidak sehat dan mengganggu pemandangan secara estetika. Kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan cara mengolah limbah padat hasil penyulingan minyak cengkeh menjadi kompos dan mengolah limbah perikanan menjadi pupuk organik cair (POC). Metode yang digunakan yaitu partisipator dan eksperimental. Peserta ikut serta dalam pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik dengan bahan baku limbah daun hasil penyulingan minyak dan limbah perikanan, dan mereka akan mengaplikasikannya pada tanaman sayuran di ladang mereka misalnya cabai dan bayam. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu sebanyak 90% peserta belum mengetahui manfaat limbah perikanan sebagai pupuk organik, sedangkan 70% peserta sudah mengetahui bahwa limbah hasil penyulingan minyak cengkeh dapat dijadikan bahan baku pembuatan kompos. Oleh karena itu 90% dari peserta pelatihan sangat tertarik dan antusias untuk mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan kompos dan POC dari limbah hasil penyulingan cengkeh dan limbah perikanan, karena limbah tersebut sangat banyak tersedia di sekitar mereka. Berdasarkan analisis finansial yang dilakukan, pupuk organik yang dibuat sendiri dengan bahan yang tersedia, cukup potensial untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Pulau Kabung.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Nurul Jadid adalah ponpes yang terletak di Jalan Raya Kumpai, Desa Sungai Ambangah, Kecamatan Sungai Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan operasional, lahan kosong seluas 6 Ha milik Yayasan digunakan untuk membuat usaha peternakan kambing dan berencana untuk mengembangkan lahan pertanian berupa sayur-sayuran yang dikelola oleh santri tingkat Aliyah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dirancang yaitu melalui partisipasi aktif mitra pada pembuatan TTG. Kegiatan dibagi menjadi dua yaitu penyuluhan berupa penyampaian materi dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk cair organik dan kompos dengan tambahan Trichoderma. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji aplikasi pada tanaman sayuran di lahan milik pondok pesantren. Pembuatan pupuk organik sangat efektif dilakukan secara mandiri di pondok pesantren untuk menunjang produksi sayuran di lahan potensial milik ponpes. Selain itu juga pupuk yang dihasilkan dapat dijual untuk meningkatkan pendapatan guna menunjang biaya operasional ponpes. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta meningkat sebanyak 77,78%.

Abstract

The purpose of forming a Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) for Karang Taruna members of the Bagan Deli Village is to increase the position and role of the community, especially the Karang Taruna Group as actors in tourism development and can synergize, partner with relevant stakeholders in improving the quality of tourism development in the Bagan Deli area Medan Belawan District, Medan Municipality. Bagan Deli is a kelurahan. The livelihoods of its citizens are mostly fishermen, laborers and some are unemployed. Based on the observations of the Community Service team and discussions with the Village Head and Chair of the Bagan Deli Youth Organization, it is planned that Community Service activities will be carried out by forming a Pokdarwis for youth organizations and creating a website as a promotion to introduce tourism potential and youth activities in the Bagan Deli area. The formation of Pokdarwis will provide skills and opportunities to earn income for Pokdarwis members and then the community. The availability of the website will be a forum for promoting tourism potential in the Bagan Deli area. So far, youth organizations in Bagan Deli have not provided much benefit, especially from an economic standpoint. The formation of the Pokdarwis will improve regional development and provide benefits for the welfare of the surrounding community.

Abstract

Community Economic Empowerment in the Four Alleys of the Gang Iman Mosque, Bagan Deli Belawan Sub-District through the Development of Hydroponic Media is carried out to assist in increasing the community's income and economy. The container for the results of this hydroponics has been provided by the Community Service Team. Training in management, finance and marketing is also carried out by the Service Team. With this, the community's economic problems will be resolved through the sale of hydroponic plants. Training, mentoring and introduction of suppliers to Partners aims to generate income and make their free time more productive and useful for Partners in the long term. . coupled with the environmental conditions near the coast, there are frequent dead tides and ROB floods and mothers have more unproductive time. Method Approach to the community and discuss with local officials what steps are considered appropriate to solve problems and provide solutions faced by the community. With training, mentoring and supervision of the activities provided to get the right results in empowering the community's economy in the Bagan Deli Belawan environment.

Abstract

This community service for the Application of Appropriate Technology aims to solve one of the problems faced by tour guides who are members of service partners, namely the DPC Indonesian Tour Guide Association (HPI), Bukit Lawang Secretariat. The problem faced by the Bukit Lawang HPI Secretariat DPC is that it does not yet have a website with English content, so it has not been able to provide solutions to improve the economy of its members. Another problem is that the guides who are members of the Bukit Lawang HPI Secretariat have never received training in using the Web. With the development of a Web-based information system, it is expected that tour guides will find it easier to market tourism services in their area. The method used is to provide training on the use of Web-based information systems with content in English. This training provides guide skills in managing the website easily and updating content dynamically at any time. As a result of this dedication, tour guides have been able to use the Web to fill in content according to the desired information so that tour guides can improve their economy.

Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency has development policies and objectives listed in the 2021-2026 Regional Medium Term Development Plan. One of the policies in Medium Term Development Plan is the regional development strategy. Banyuwangi Regency area consists of 25 sub-districts and 189 villages. Most of those villages are scattered in the southern region of Banyuwangi Regency Goverment. With regional boundaries and wide coverage area, Banyuwangi Regency Government has a priority scale in developing villages. In this condition, road facilities cannot be built and developed optimally. Limitation of infrastructure budgeting of the Banyuwangi Regency Regional Government become a problem in Tambong Village. In addition, the limited number of personel who have the ability to prepare planning documents and budget plans is also an obstacle in village infrastructure development activities. Assistance in planning village infrastructure and increasing the capacity of Tambong Village technical personel needs to be carried out so that the development program runs smoothly. Based on this, Banyuwangi State Polytechnic team held training regarding the preparation of a budget plan for technical personnel. Several technical documents needed for funding proposals and infrastructure financing were also prepared in this mentoring activity. This activity is implementing the Tri Dharma of High Vocational Education to the surrounding community. With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that the transfer of knowledge by the community service team can be realized in the context of increasing the capacity of human resources in Tambong Village.

Abstract

In 2021, the CPNS acceptance will again be carried out by the government. As a profession that is favored by the community, careful preparation of course needs to be done in various ways, one of which is by participating in problem-solving training activities and debriefing from the presenters. In this activity, the presenters are experienced experts so they are expected to motivate participants and foster enthusiasm in the face of CPNS acceptance later. In this Community Service participants will get tricks in facing the test and perform a simulation of working on CAT questions that have been prepared and then evaluate the results of the simulation work.

Abstract

One form of service provided, especially in institutions engaged in education, is the service process in the implementation of the Final Project/Thesis where the implementation process itself is currently still being done manually which makes the entire implementation process take longer and less efficient, as well as the distribution conditions. Covid-19 (corona virus) which is currently still not showing a decline until the Government issues government regulations, circulars and appeals for the implementation of face-to-face activities to be reduced and shifted to online / online. This information system is the result of research that has been implemented in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Pontianak State Polytechnic, named SEMESTA which is an acronym for Information System for Final Project Completion. Which has three user entities, namely students, supervisors and administrators. The information system is able to serve title proposals, proposals, submission of supervisors, selection of students to be mentored, and consultation media between students and their supervisors for the smooth process of online and real-time final assignments/thesis. Faculty of Agriculture, Panca Bhakti University, Pontianak currently does not have an information system that can be used to help complete the final project/thesis. If this information system is implemented then the parties who will be involved in this information system will be trained how to use it separately based on the level of users.

Abstract

This Community These Community Service Activities were initiated by the UPPM Team Accounting Department after coordinating with the Principal of SMKN 1 Mempawah Hilir in April 2022. The results of an initial survey via questionnaire of 8 accounting teachers in the Financial and Institutional Accounting Expertise Program showed that teachers still lack understanding of financial accounting area, as important material in learning Accounting Practicum for Government Agencies/institutions which focuses on recording transactions and completing the accounting cycle of Regional Work Units (SKPD). This is indicated by the fact that most of the accounting teachers in the Institutional Accounting and Finance Expertise Program do not understand the types of source documents for recording transactions and techniques for recording transactions, as well as completing the SKPD accounting cycle. The solution offered by the UPPM Team of the Accounting Department to solve partner problems is to organize Regional Financial Accounting Training for Accounting Teachers at Vocational Schools throughout Mempawah Regency. The target of this activity is that 12 teachers who teach in the Institutional Accounting and Financial Expertise Program in Mempawah Regency can record transactions and complete SKPD accounting cycles, making it easier for teachers to teach every material in the Accounting Practicum subject for Government Agencies/Institutions to students in their schools. each. This training will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 in the Lab Room. Computer SMK Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. This training was attended by 12 accounting teachers from SMK Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir and SMK Negeri Sungai Kunyit. Activities run smoothly from 08.30 – 16.00 WIB. After attending the training, there was a significant difference in the level of understanding of the participants compared to before attending the training. Participants' knowledge of regional financial accounting increased, as well as skills in carrying out the practice of preparing SKPD financial reports. This shows that the training was carried out effectively. Hopefully the results of this training activity will be useful for teachers in transferring knowledge to their students in the Accounting Practicum subject for Government Agencies/Institutions in their respective schools. Before the event was closed, the PPM Team of the Polnep Accounting Department handed over 12 textbooks to the participants. The session of presenting souvenirs to the Principal of SMK Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir and taking a group photo ended this activity.
