Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning activities and chemistry learning outcomes of students in class X SMAN 6 Mataram academic year 2023/2024 on the topic of chemical compound nomenclature and reaction equations by the implementation of differentiated process learning strategies. This research activity is conducted in 2 cycles each consisting of two meetings, including conducting evaluations at the end of each cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions, observation, evaluation, and reflection. The data collected in this research includes qualitative data in the form of observation sheets and quantitative data in the form of student learning outcomes from 34 samples consisting of 17 male and 17 female students. The result of this result indicates an increase in student learning activities score from cycle I to cycle II with an average score of student learning activities respectively 11,25 and 12,9 which are in the active category. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle 2 with a classical completeness score of 59,25% successively increasing to 85,3% in cycle II. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of differentiated learning (process) can improve the activities and learning outcomes of chemistry students in class X at SMAN 6 Mataram.

Abstract

Early childhood education is the most basic education and is referred to as the golden period or what is known as the golden age. This research aims to investigate and understand the effect of using sand media as a learning tool on early writing abilities in early childhood. This research uses a classroom action research method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. Analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the application of sand media provides a unique learning experience for students that allows children to feel the text and letter shapes. Apart from that, this media can also be a variety of alternative media in teaching children to learn to write.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) merupakan program pembelajaran bagi penutur asing yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan bahasa dan budaya Indonesia. Program BIPA selalu memiliki daya tarik tersendiri untuk dibahas, dalam penelitian ini membahas tentang pola belajar BIPA tingkat pemula di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) menjelaskan tentang pola belajar BIPA tingkat pemula di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika; (2) menjelaskan tentang kendala pembelajar BIPA tingkat pemula di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasi dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) pola belajar Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing tingkat pemula di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Mandalika, menggunakan pola belajar individu; (2) saat ini di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Mandalika belum ada yang menyediakan kelas belar, belajar kelompok atau sejenisnya, seperti lembaga BIPA.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the effectiveness of science learning using the problem-based learning model on the critical thinking skills of class VII A students at Sullamul Mubtadi Anjani Islamic Middle School. This research is a qualitative research using data collection methods including tests, observations, interviews and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation techniques, extends participation, and increases persistence. While the data analysis technique uses the Analysis Interactive model from Miles and Huberman including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or data verification. The results of the study show that through science learning by using the problem based learning model, it can improve students' critical thinking skills. It can be seen from the results of the critical thinking ability test that all students get results in the category of high-ability students. The results of interviews with teachers revealed that the science learning model using the problem-based learning model could improve students' critical thinking skills and the results of interviews students liked science learning using the problem-based learning model and could improve students' critical thinking skills according to the results of the overall interview. towards teachers and students. Then the results of the observation of activity showed that students in class VII A were active in learning according to the assessment of each indicator made by the researcher.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe: (1) How the use of small group discussion can improve students reading comprehension. This research was conducted in the VII A class at SMP IT AN-NUR Suralaga. This research used Quantitative research since the researcher aimed to gain deeper description about the implementation of small group discussion technique. Data collection by way of test,and observation. Data were analyzed using several procedures. The result of the research show that the use of small group discussions can improve students understanding of reading. In addition, small group discussions can be used to make the classroom situation more conducive.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' vocabulary mastery through English songs. This research was Classroom Action Research with conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data is collected through qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data obtained by interviews and observation results. Then, quantitative data were obtained from the students' vocabulary scores from the pre-test, post-test. Based on the results of this study, it showed that there was progress in students' vocabulary mastery, as seen from the average pretest score of 66.07, the average posttest 1 score was 72.14, and the average posttest score. cycle 2 is 78.93. In addition, there were 5 students (18%) who passed the Standard of minimum completeness of mastery learning on the pretest. Whereas in cycle 1 there were 15 students (54%) who passed Standard of minimum completeness, and it was obtained in the post test cycle 2 that there were 24 students (86%) who passed. It means that, the Standard of minimum completeness of mastery learning was achieved. Then, the results show an increase and a positive response in the learning process of teaching vocabulary through English songs. Furthermore, the results of observations and interviews show that students are motivated in the teaching and learning process when using this English song.

Abstract

The problem of student learning outcomes that do not meet student achievement standards in biology material is the main basis for carrying out lesson study-based classroom action research. This research is qualitative research by applying the think pair share learning model using learning comics. From the research results, it was obtained that the percentage of learning implementation by teachers increased from 81.67% in the first cycle to 90% in the second cycle, then the presentation of learning implementation by students from 88.33% in the first cycle to 93.33% in the second cycle. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes increased from the average percentage of student completion from 32% in the first cycle to 72% in the second cycle

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low language skills of children at PAUD Mayang Mekar Pancor. Language skills are tools used to communicate and convey intentions, feelings and other information about something to others that can be used through writing, sound, something heard, seen and read to be conveyed to others. This study aims to develop the alphabetic abacus media to develop language skills in children and to determine the effectiveness of the alphabetic abacus media on the development of language skills in children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Mayang Mekar Pancor in the 2022/2023 learning year. This study uses 10 Borg and Gall development models which are simplified into 6 stages, namely research and data collection, planning, initial product development, initial field trials, product revisions, and field implementation tests. The type of research used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The research subjects were 10 children of group A PAUD Mayang Mekar Pancor. The instruments used to collect data are in the form of validation sheets and observation sheets. In addition, it can also be seen from the results of the t-count hypothesis test that is 13.33 with the t- table value of 2.262, the t-count value (13.33) > ttable (2.262). So it can be concluded that the alphabetic abacus media is effectively used to develop language skills in children aged 4-5 years at PAUD Mayang Mekar Pancor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi Eksistensi Moderasi Beragama Berbasis Multikultural Di SMAN 1 Narmada. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Mendeskripsikan Bentuk Pembinaan Eksistensi Moderasi Beragama Berbasis Multikultural Di SMAN 1 Narmada. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, Subjek penelitiannya adalah Wakil Kepala Sekolah dan perwakilan tenaga pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, pengumpulan informasi, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk pembinaan ksistensi Moderasi Beragama Berbasis Multikultural Di SMAN 1 Narmada adalah, memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang multikulturalisme, penggunaan bahan ajar yang relevan dengan tema moderasi beragama, pelatihan guru terkait penggunaan metode pengajaran yang mendorong moderasi beragama, Mengadakan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler multikultural sebagai wadah untuk berbicara perbedaan agama dan cara menyikapinya, dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam menyelarasakan pembinaan di sekolah. Kemudian faktor pendukungnya adalah Wakil Kepala Sekolahyang energik dan visioner, fasilitas yang memadai, dukungan dari masyarakat, komunikasi yang baik antara orang tua siwa dan guru. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah antusiasme siswa yang kurang dan resistensi dari orang tua siswa yang terlalu fanatik terhadap agamanya.

Abstract

Learning English in Indonesia is currently undergoing development due to the need for English that has covered the whole world. In improving the quality of English language education, the right strategy is needed in teaching the language. One of the Islamic boarding schools in East Lombok that is currently applying English as a daily language is ULIL AL-BAAB boarding school. This boarding school can be categorized as a successful school in implementing learning strategies for students. This research aims to look at the strategies used by Islamic boarding schools in improving students' language skills. This type of research is a case study whose data is taken through the process of observation and interview. The results of this study suggest that there are 3 strategies used by the school those peer teaching method, speaking club, and English area.
