Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the era of Industrial Revolution4.0 and Society 5.0 has brought major changes in the world of education, including in the field of IslamicReligious Education (PAI). This article aims to examine the transformation of the PAI learning model in thedigital era through a literature review approach to accredited scientific literature in the last five years. Theresults of the study show that PAI learning has shifted from a teacher-centered lecture-based model tostudent-centered learning that integrates digital technology such as the Learning Management System(LMS), educational videos, Islamic moral gamification, and virtual reality in worship simulations. Althoughdigitalization provides many opportunities to increase the effectiveness and engagement of learning, challenges such as low digital literacy, gaps in access to technology, and distortion of religious informationare also emerging. Therefore, a strategy is needed to strengthen the digital capacity of educators, developlearning materials based on religious moderation, and equalize access to technology to ensure that thetransformation of PAI learning in the digital era remains relevant, inclusive, and rooted in Islamic valuesrahmatan lil 'alamin. Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, Learning Transformation, Digital Era, Digital Literacy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the assessment instrument for the volume of cubesand rectangular prisms in elementary school mathematics learning using Macromedia Flash in the fifth-grade class of SD Bangetayu Wetan 02. The research adopts a quantitative or experimental approach withthe Intact-Group Comparison design, where the researcher divides the class into two groups: anexperimental class and a control class. These two classes are then compared using different treatments. Thesampling method used is non-probability random sampling, taken from the population of SD BangetayuWetan 02, with the sample being the fifth-grade class. The data validation techniques employed includevalidity and reliability tests to evaluate the instrument, while content validity is assessed by expert validators. For data analysis, the researcher applies normality tests, homogeneity tests, and T-tests to examine theeffectiveness of the tested instrument and to identify differences in outcomes between the experimental andcontrol classes. The findings reveal that the assessment instrument for the volume of cubes and rectangularprisms in elementary school mathematics learning using Macromedia Flash is effective. The results showa Levene’s Test for Equality of Variances significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, indicating a significant differencein the average evaluation results between the experimental and control classes. The control class achieved ahigher average score of 75.96, while the experimental class obtained an average score of 52.57.Keywords: Assessment Instrument, Mathematics, Macromedia Flash

Abstract

The rapid development of social media as a product of the digital revolution has significantlyinfluenced various aspects of life, including students' attitudes toward tolerance. This study aims to analyzethe impact of social media usage on the tolerance attitudes of second-semester Civic Education (PPKN)students at Cenderawasih University, using a correlational quantitative approach. Data were collectedthrough closed questionnaires distributed to 41 respondents and analyzed using Pearson’s correlation andsimple linear regression tests with SPSS 25.0.The results revealed a significant positive relationship between the intensity of social media use andtolerance attitudes (r = 0.711, p < 0.001), with social media contributing 50.5% to tolerance formation. Thedominant platforms used were TikTok (46.3%) and Instagram (34.1%), which served as effective mediumsfor multicultural learning through creative content. However, 65% of respondents reported exposure todiscriminatory content, while only 40% actively sought content related to cultural diversity. These findingssuggest that social media has a dual role—enhancing tolerance through positive interactions whilepotentially diminishing it through exposure to harmful content. This study recommends integrating digital literacy into the Civic Education curriculum andoptimizing social media platforms to promote inclusive values. The implications highlight the need for data-driven strategies to maximize social media’s positive impact while mitigating its risks in fostering toleranceamong students in multicultural environments such as Papua. Keywords: Social media, tolerance, Civic Education students, Cenderawasih University.

Based on the research results obtained, choosing learning media has a close relationshipwith student responses. So that optimizing the use of interactive learning media needs to be maximized inorder to attract student interest and provide a good learning impact. Packaging material in interestingcontent from interactive learning media can attract students' interest and activeness to be more focused, sothat students will be unconsciously challenged to be able to explore and criticize the presentation andproblems given in learning. The use of interactive learning media is certainly not free from obstacles, butthese obstacles can be overcome by maximizing the teacher's ability to explore its use and creation moreoptimally and regarding facilities, teachers can optimize the use of existing facilities that can be provided. Keywords: Interactive Learning Model, Critical Thinking Skills, Learning Interest

And Komalasari,(2017 p. 83) formulated four guidelines in developing student character skills as follows: (1) there is a focusof attention given to life, in the sense of trying to direct people's attention to various aspects of their ownlives, so that they can identify the things they value; (2) there is acceptance that is in accordance with whatis, in the sense that when we pay attention to value clarification, we need to accept other people's positionswithout consideration, according to what is; (3) there is a stimulus to act further. Meaning, we need to domore as a reflection of values, rather than just accepting; (4) there is development of individual characterabilities. This means that with this approach, it is opened not only to develop students' skills in having valueclarification, but also to receive guidance to think and act further. Keywords: Cultivating character motivation, Distance learning, digital literacy
