Abstract

This research reviews the Friday ngandang tradition in the Waringinkurung area. This research aims to discuss friendship and kinship found in this tradition. This research uses qualitative methods and the research instruments are observation and interviews. The data sources for this research are the results of interviews from several Waringinkurung residents and previous research journals. The result is that in Waringinkurung, the Ngandang Friday tradition is a way to apply Islamic values about friendship and kinship. After Friday prayers, this ritual is carried out by sharing prayers, shaking hands and eating together. This tradition has spiritual meaning and helps strengthen family relationships that are often broken due to daily activities

Abstract

The use of technology in learning has become an increasingly important phenomenon in the world of education, especially in today's digital era. Technology not only improves accessibility and flexibility in learning, but also enriches the learning experience by presenting more interactive and engaging materials. This research aims to analyze the application of technology in learning and explore the benefits, challenges, and opportunities that exist. Based on the results of research conducted in several educational institutions, it was found that the use of online learning platforms, educational applications, and multimedia-based media is able to increase student engagement, provide wider access to learning resources, and create a more personalized learning experience. However, challenges such as the digital divide, limited infrastructure, and low digital literacy among educators are still obstacles that need to be overcome. In conclusion, while technology offers a variety of advantages, its use must be done wisely taking into account the local context and efforts to improve digital access and skills for all parties involved.

Abstract

.تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل فعالية طريقة الإنشاء الموجه في تحسين مهارة الكتابة (مهارة الكتابة) لدى الطلاب الذين يدرسون اللغة العربية. تُعدُّ طريقة الإنشاء الموجه وسيلة تعليمية تركز على ممارسة الكتابة بشكل متكرر تحت إشراف مباشر من المدرّس، مما يساعد الطلاب على تحسين مهاراتهم في تركيب الجمل وكتابة الفقرات بفعالية. في إعداد هذا المقال، استخدم الباحثون المنهج النوعي مع تقنية جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة. شملت الدراسة مصدرين رئيسيين لجمع البيانات: المصدر الأولي الذي تم الحصول عليه من الملاحظات المباشرة للموضوعات، والمصدر الثانوي الذي تم جمعه من الدراسات الأدبية، بما في ذلك مقالات ومجلات وكتب تم تناولها في هذه الدراسة. تشير النتائج إلى أن طريقة الإنشاء الموجه فعّالة في تعزيز مهارات الكتابة لدى الطلاب، وخصوصاً في هيكلة الجمل، واختيار المفردات المناسبة، ودمج الفقرات بطريقة منسجمة. تسهم هذه الدراسة في تعليم اللغة العربية من خلال تقديم أسلوب بديل أكثر فعالية لتحسين مهارات الكتابة لدى الطلاب. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي النوعي، مع استخدام مصدرين أساسيين: المصادر الأولية المتمثلة في الكتب، والمصادر الثانوية المتمثلة في المقالات والمجلات. كشفت النتائج عن ثلاثة أمور رئيسية: استخدام طريقة الإنشاء الموجه كوسيلة تعليمية في مهارة الكتابةاوّلاً, فعالية تعليم الإنشاء الموجه في تعزيز مهارة الكتابة في تعلم اللغة العربيةثانياً, تحسين قدرة الطلاب على الكتابة باللغة العربية باستخدام طريقة الإنشاء الموجهثالثاً

Abstract

Teachers, students, and learning materials interact during the learning process in a classroom setting. The study's goal was to ascertain how the scientific learning process was implemented at SMP Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau. Descriptive qualitative research is what this study is. Two pupils from class IX and the science instructor for the ninth grade are the sources of the research data. Interviews, observations, and documentation were employed as data gathering methods. Source triangulation is employed in the data validity assurance technique, the Miles and Huberman method is utilized for data analysis, and the CIPP (context, input, process, product) approach model is employed. The evaluation of the learning implementation process, specifically the learning process of science teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau, is described as follows: (1) pre-instructional stage (2) instructional stage (3) evaluation stage and no further. This is evident from the analysis of findings and discussion. Even if the learning process is limited by a number of issues, including the issue of infrastructure and facilities, teachers are still able to carry it out effectively.

Abstract

Mastery of the Arabic mufrodat is the main challenge for students in Islamic boarding schools, especially in reading the yellow book which requires a deep understanding of the rules of the Arabic language. This phenomenon reflects the importance of vocabulary mastery in supporting the reading skills of classical Arabic texts. This study aims to (1) analyze the mastery of mufrodat of An-Nidhom Islamic Boarding School students, (2) analyze the ability to read the yellow book, and (3) describe the influence of mastery of mufrodat on the ability to read the yellow book. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires involving 18 students as samples. The analysis was carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that (1) most of the students had mastery of mufrodat in the categories of very good (55.5%) and good (44.5%), (2) the ability to read the yellow book of students was shown through the accuracy of reading based on the rules of nahwu and shorof, understanding of the content of the reading, and the ability to express the content of the reading systematically, and (3) there was a significant positive influence between the mastery of mufrodat and the ability to read the yellow book, which is supported by grammatical rule-based learning and the active role of Ustadz in the teaching process. This study emphasizes the importance of strategies to strengthen mufrodat learning to improve the ability to read the yellow book in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study examines the use of fashl and washl as linguistic devices that have an important role in forming the structure and meaning of sentences in Surah As-Sajadah verses 2 and 4. Through in-depth text analysis, this study attempts to reveal how the use of fashl and washl can influence the understanding of the messages conveyed in these verses. The results of the study show that fashl and washl not only function as mechanical tools to connect or separate sentences, but also have deep aesthetic and meaningful dimensions. This study is expected to contribute to the development of Qur'anic studies, especially in the field of balaghah science.

Abstract

The skill of reading is referred to as mahārah qirā’ah in Arabic, which is the third skill after mahārah istima’ and mahārah kalām. In the Arabic Language Education program, some students come from non-boarding school backgrounds and may not have studied Arabic extensively before. This condition can present several challenges, especially in reading Arabic texts. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that contribute to the difficulty in reading Arabic texts among students from non-boarding school backgrounds in the Arabic Language Education program at UINSU, batch 2021. The method used in this study is qualitative research, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews/questionnaires with five students, and a literature review of previous research. The results of this study show that factors affecting the difficulty in reading Arabic texts among non-boarding school students include their educational background, a lack of understanding of nahwu (syntax) and sharf (morphology), insufficient vocabulary mastery, and a lack of interest in learning Arabic. This study reveals these factors in order to raise awareness among educators about the issue and encourage students to improve their skills in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Jinas is an element of muhassinaat al-lafdziyah, which studies the beauty of language in texts. By definition, jinas consists of two sentences that share similarities in every aspect of their writing, including pronunciation, number of letters, structure (tarkib), and diacritics (harakat). Jinas is divided into two main categories: jinas lafdzi and jinas ma’nawi. The category of jinas lafdzi is further subdivided into jinas tam and jinas ghairu tam. This research aims to analyze jinas tam in Surah Al-Furqan. The method employed is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, utilizing content analysis. Data collection was conducted through library research, which involved searching for and reviewing relevant literature. The analysis results indicate that there are seven examples of jinas tam of the type jinas mumatsal found in Surah Al-Furqan, specifically in the following verses: 3, 11, 14, 47, 61, 62, and 72.

Abstract

This study analyzes Surah Al-Baqarah verse 185 and Surah Al-A'raf verse 26 through the lens of balaghah, focusing on the concepts of al-istikhdam and al-istithrad. Istikhdam refers to the use of words with layered or interconnected meanings, while istithrad denotes the inclusion of supplementary explanations that appear tangential to the main theme but remain contextually relevant. The analysis of Surah Al-Baqarah verse 185 highlights the use of istikhdam in conveying meanings related to fasting, divine law, and guidance, encompassing both spiritual and legal dimensions, thereby emphasizing Ramadan as a month of guidance and forgiveness. In Surah Al-A'raf verse 26, istikhdam is evident in the mention of clothing as a symbol of both physical and moral protection, while istithrad elaborates on its connection to piety as a spiritual value transcending material aspects. This study demonstrates how these verses integrate al-istikhdam and al-istithrad to reinforce moral and legal messages while showcasing the linguistic beauty of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Clinical approach or clinical supervision assumes that the teacher's learning process to develop is always related to the teacher's own individual learning process. The clinical approach is a face-to-face process between the supervisor and the teacher. This meeting discusses teaching problems and those related to it. Therefore, in clinical supervision, the supervisor and teacher act as colleagues in solving learning problems. For different types of teachers, the supervisor must also distinguish the types of clinical supervision strategies that will be used. The type of professional teacher is suitable for using non-directive strategies, the type of critical teacher and busy teacher can use collaborative strategies. Meanwhile, for teachers who are not qualified, supervisors are expected to be more active in guiding and teaching these teachers, so that the right strategy is direct clinical supervision.
