Abstract

The research is a classroom action research aimed at improving the learning achievement of 10th grade students in agricultural tecnology and plant husbandry program at state vocational high school 4 Gowa. The independent variable in this study is the application of the teams games tournament cooperative leaening model based on quizizz, while the dependent variable is the learning achievement of students in the fundamentals of agribusiness plant subjects. The sample consists of the 10th grade class ATPH 1 SMK state 4 Gowa. Research data were obtained from learning outcome tests, including pre-tests & post-tests. Based on data analysis, data were obtained from learning outcome tests, with percentages in cycle 1 pre-test score 39,65% and post test score of 49,6%, and in cycle 2 a post test result of 85,88% was obtained. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementatiton of the cooperative learning model teams games tournament (TGT) based on quizizz, can improve the learning achievement of students in class X ATPH 1 at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa.

Abstract

This research aims to illustrate how the development of a discovery learning model using vocabulary card media can improve the ability to use complete sentences in fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research is development research. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews, with data sources coming from teachers and students in the six classes studied. Data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods, starting by changing the qualitative assessment to quantitative to get a score, then calculating the average score, changing it back to a qualitative assessment, as well as explaining the data, discussing the research results, and concluding. The research results show that: (1) based on needs analysis, the learning model desired by students and teachers is a model that actively involves students and fosters curiosity to discover something. The learning media needed is media that is cheap, interesting, easy to use, and can increase students' vocabulary. (2) The principles of preparing learning models include the principles of motivation, experience, discovery, cooperation, language and repetition. (3) Developing a discovery learning model using vocabulary card media produces products in the form of learning models and media which are realized in the form of guidebooks.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of student activity and learning outcomes in mathematics learning, especially in data presentation material. One way that is expected to increase student activity and learning outcomes is by using the Market Place Activity method. The aim of this research is to describe the increase in student activity and learning outcomes through the application of the Market Place Activity learning method for class V students at SDN Margaluyu. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which refers to the Kemmis and Mc model. Tagart, consists of two cycles. The instruments used include teacher performance observation sheets, activity observation sheets, and student learning outcomes. There are a total of 5 essay questions given in each cycle. The subjects of this research were 23 fifth grade students at SDN Margaluyu. Observation results showed an increase in student activity from 43.08% at the beginning to 86.13% in cycle II. The test results also showed an increase, with the percentage of student completion increasing from 22% at the beginning to 100% in the second cycle. Thus, the Market Place Activity method can increase activity and mathematics learning outcomes for class V at SDN Margaluyu, Sukasari District, Sumedang Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the ability to read and the effectiveness of TPS cooperative learning models in learning to read short story comprehension. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. Data collection techniques used were test, observation, questionnaire and interview techniques. The data source is students of class IX Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Kota Sukabumi. Data analysis techniques in this study were conducted with a normality and homogeneity test. The results of this study indicate that the short story comprehension reading skills of class IX students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Kota Sukabumi after using the TPS learning model are in Very Good qualifications (BS) with an average value of 82.68, while reading short story comprehension before using cooperative learning think pair share type Grade IX students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Kota Sukabumi are of Enough qualification (C) with an average grade of 54.14.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of students who lack discipline when participating in learning at school. The aim of this research is to find out whether the impact of discipline has an influence on student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 3 Buntalan. This type of research is quantitative. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research took a sample of 15 students consisting of class III at SD Negeri 3 Buntalan. The analysis technique uses a validity test, a reliability test uses Cronbach's Alpha while the hypothesis test uses a simple linear regression test. The research results obtained have a 62.5% impact on discipline that influences student learning outcomes, while 37.5% comes from other impacts that are not included in the research This. This impact takes the form of a positive impact on student learning outcomes. It has been declared accepted by simple regression calculations.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify and describe students’ perceptions and challenges on English Club Extracurricular Activity at SMAN 8 Lubuklinggau. The researcher used mixed method to conduct this research, the subjects of this research were all members of English club at SMAN 8 Lubuklinggau that consist of 28 members. The researcher used questionnaire to find out students’ perception and interview to find out students’ challenges. The results showed that most of students have positive perception toward English club activity at SMAN 8 Lubuklinggau. Since joined English Club, Students pronunciation is better and students add their English vocabularies step by step, students also more confident and more interested in learning English, English club also motivate the students to improve English skill. Aside from that, English club is one of a comfortable, fun and a better place that suitable for students to speak English, students also have more time to practice English through English Club. Besides that, the researcher also found there are several students' challenges in learning English on English Club extracurricular activity at SMAN 8 Lubuklinggau. These challenges categorized by two factors namely linguistics: lack of vocabulary, poor pronunciation, lack of grammar knowledge and not fluency. Non-linguistics: not confidence, feel afraid, less supported, nervous and less motivation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the implementation of character education in schools has not been implemented optimally in the learning process. The need for developing student worksheets that are integrated with character education aims to establish student cooperation, activeness, independence, discipline and responsibility. The type of research used is research and development, also called R&D (Research and Development), using the Borg and Gall model, carried out in 6 stages. The validation results obtained from this research were that material experts received 93.18% (very worthy), media expert validation 87.5% (very worthy), and practitioner expert validation 84.1% (very worthy). The practicality of the LKPD obtained at SD Negeri 1 Mranggen had an average score of 88.66% (very practical), SD Negeri 2 Gedaren 89.16% (very practical) and SD N 2 Mranggen 87.83% (very practical). The value before product application and after product application experienced a significant increase with an N-gain score of 58.42% (quite effective). The results of this development research show that the discovery learning LKPD is feasible, practical and quite effective when used.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and know in depth about the Galombang Dance Movement at the Sumarak Alam Minangkabau Studio. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are identifying data, describing data, classifying data, analyzing data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the galombang dance can be seen from the aspect of space, time, and energy. The galombang dance has several spatial elements, namely, in each movement of the galombang dance the dancer uses a dominant line that is straight in shape in the entire movement which gives the impression of calm and balance. The dominant volume is found in large and medium wave dance movements. The dominant facing directions are front, right diagonal and left diagonal. The level contained in the galombang dance movements is low and medium level, because many movements use pitunggua with the focus of the dominant head gaze forward and downward focusing on the direction of the hands. The time aspect in this galombang dance is dominated by using medium and fast tempos where fast movements describe the strength and enthusiasm of the community in carrying out daily life activities in carrying out farming activities. A rhythm that repeats from start to finish (repetitive) has an impression of regularity and balance that gives a consistent impression to each movement. The energy aspect of the galombang dance in intensity is moderate and strong in each movement, with dance movements that are performed repeatedly. The intensity is weak only in the initial movement, while for pressure (accent) there are in several movements such as the playboy movement, the sambah movement, the maagiah kaba movement, the closing movement. In addition, there are also some movements that are not too strong and not weak, namely moderate. The quality used is predominantly medium because in motion it follows the code of the sound of gandang, the energy expended is continuously moving with energy that is getting more and more up, so that the galombang dance seems excited and makes the movements in the galombang dance come alive.

Abstract

The background to this research is the minimal use of learning media, which makes learning tend to be monotonous, resulting in low student learning outcomes, especially in science and science subjects, material on economic activity processes. The aim of this research is to develop picture story-based learning media to improve the learning outcomes of class V students at SDIT Persada Bayat. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which has stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics, t-test and N-gain. Based on the results of material and language expert validation, the average percentage was 84.09% (very feasible), media expert validation was 91.67% (very feasible), and practitioner expert validation was 75% (decent). The practicality of the media from the student response questionnaire received an average percentage of 93.75% (very practical). Student learning achievement test scores experienced a significant increase with an average N-gain score percentage of 66.89% (quite effective). The results of this development research show that picture story-based learning media is feasible, practical and quite effective.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how dance training has an impact on students' confidence at SMAN 4 Pariaman. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in students' confidence when participating in dance training in dance extracurricular activities at SMAN 4 Pariaman which was influenced by optimistic, objective and responsible indicators. From the optimistic indicator, it can be seen that students have more willingness and do certain activities, students when they get new material, they look very eager to try and practice it well. From the objective indicators of impartial, fair and open students, students are able to make good friends with anyone and are also able to be fair to their peers. And from the responsibility indicator, being able to complete the tasks given and keep the promises according to the agreement, students who have tasks given by their coach always complete them on time and always follow whatever directions the coach tells them to do. So it can be concluded that the dance training carried out is able to increase students' confidence.
