Abstract

INDIKATOR PENGEMBANGAN KARAKTER SISWASEKOLAH DASARBayu Purbha SaktiAbstrak : Beberapa masalah yang telah terjadi di sekolah dasar seperti kekerasan anak, siswa tidaklulus, dan siswa drop out. Beberapa masalah tersebut telah menyebabkan berbagai pendapat yangmemprihatinkan. Indikator dalam pendidikan diperlukan oleh pendidik demi pengembangan karakter siswa sekolahdasar. Pendidikan dan penilaian karakter yang diadakan di sekolah dasar digunakan untuk pengembangan karakter.Pengembangan karakter dilakukan untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa sekolah dasar sesuai karakter yangbaik. Ruang lingkup pendidikan karakter selain di sekolah adalah di keluarga, masyarakat, instansi pemerintahmaupun swasta, serta ruang lingkup di luar negeri. Penanaman nilai karakter dapat dilakukan dalam kegiatanpembelajaran. Teknik penilaian karakter yang digunakan di sekolah dasar meliputi: observasi, wawancara,catatan anekdot, dan catatan kejadian tertentu. Pengembangan karakter dapat dilakukan dengan memasukkankonsep karakter pada setiap pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Beberapa pengembangan karakter itu antara lain:Guru menanamkan nilai kebaikan pada anak dengan menanamkan konsep diri yang baik kepada anak setiapakan memasuki pelajaran. Guru menggunakan cara yang membuat anak memiliki alasan atau keinginan untukberbuat baik. Guru memberikan beberapa contoh baik kepada anak mengenai karakter yang sedang dibangun.Guru mengembangkan sikap mencintai perbuatan baik. Guru melaksanakan perbuatan baik.Kata Kunci : penilaian karakter, sekolah dasar, observasi, guru

Abstract

The purpose of this study  is to describe the implementation of thematic learning in SD N 1 Kragilan. The research approach used is qualitative. The author determines SDN 1 Kragilan as a research location. Research data were collected by observation and interview techniques. Data analysis techniques used include the phase of data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed that the teachers were able to understand thematic learning. Thematic learning is learning taught to children that combines several subjects put together in a theme. Thematic learning can take lessons from the natural surroundings and everyday life. The teachers have obstacles in carrying out thematic learning. The teachers find it difficult to run a thematic learning assessment system. Students are not yet accustomed to using thematic learning. The teachers already have a solution in thematic learning. The teachers exchange information, knowledge, and opinions with other teachers about thematic learning.

Abstract

Students of the Widya Dharma University Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program are expected to have insight and knowledge in nonfiction story writing. News that is part of a nonfiction story favored by elementary school children. Writing news will familiarize PGSD students in writing activities and later they also have no difficulty in doing thesis. PGSD students who take part in the training are expected to excel in student-level writing competitions. The trainees were also reminded to maintain the authenticity of the news written. News must be reported by prospective elementary school teachers so that students, families, and communities can avoid Liar News / hoaxes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memaknai implementasi pembelajaran tematik pada sekolah dasar negeri di Gugus III Kecamatan Kalasan Kabupaten Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah para guru kelas I, II, dan III. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi serta dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Guru sudah memahami pembelajaran tematik, tetapi masih ada 2 guru yang belum memahaminya. (2) Guru sudah merencana-kan pembelajaran tematik dengan menggunakan silabus dan RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) yang memiliki tema, tetapi masih ada 8 guru yang tidak menggunakannya. (3) Metode mengajar yang diterapkan para guru dalam implementasi pembelajaran tematik yaitu metode ceramah, ko-operatif, dan peragaan. (4) Hambatan yang dihadapi adalah: (a) Minimnya pengetahuan orangtua dan siswa. (b) Lingkungan masyarakat yang tidak kondusif. (c) Keterbatasan alat peraga, buku, dan sosial-isasi dinas. d) Minimnya pengetahuan guru. (5) Upaya guru mengatasi hambatan dengan: (a) Menjelaskan pembelajaran tematik kepada orangtua dan memilih media dan metode yang sesuai untuk siswa. (b) Menyelenggarakan bimbingan belajar di lingkungan masyarakat. (c) Mencari informasi di buku, internet, dan seminar supaya guru memiliki inovasi untuk mengatasi keterbatasan pembelajaran tematik. (d) Berbagi informasi dengan guru tematik yang lain untuk menambah pengetahuan. Kata kunci: pembelajaran tematik, implementasi pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of problem-based learning on the problem- solving ability of students in higher education. This type of research is a quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The sample of this study comes from the analysis of 12 national and international journals published in 2023-2024. The data source was taken from the Google Scholar, ERIC and Mendeley databases. The sampling technique is direct observation through a journal database. Data analysis is a quantitative analysis with the help of the STATA application. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence of the problem-based learning model on the problem-solving ability of students in higher education with ES = 1,014; z = 9.013 with a high effecrt size category. These findings show that the problem-based learning model is very effective in being applied by lecturers in the learning process in higher education

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the inadequate cognitive learning outcomes among high school students in the areas of rotation dynamics and balancing rigid bodies. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of the search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) learning approach on students' cognitive abilities. A quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group was used as the research methodology. A purposeful sampling technique was employed to collect samples from 100 students. The hypothesis test conducted on the posttest data using the Mann-Whitney test at ????= 0.05 resulted in the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1, with a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.00. The SSCS learning approach has a significant impact on students' cognitive abilities. The experimental group demonstrated greater progress in their cognitive learning outcomes than the control group. Furthermore, students who applied the SSCS learning model were found to be 72% more engaged in their studies.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of students who are not disciplined in learning in the classroom due to low motivation to learn, students are lazy to do the assignments given by the teacher, students do not pay attention to the teacher during the learning process, and students play during the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of motivation on the learning discipline of grade II students at SD 1 Towangsan Gantiwarno, Klaten Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This type of research is quantitative. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, and documentation. This study took all members of the second grade population of SDN 1 Towangsan which amounted to 13 students. The analysis technique uses a simple linearity test and determination test. The results of the study using descriptive analysis showed that learning motivation was in the high category with a frequency of 9 respondents (69), medium category with a frequency of 3 respondents (23%), while in the low category with a frequency of 1 respondent (8%). Sedangkan kedisiplinan belajar pada kategori tinggi dengan frekuensi sebanyak 4 responden (40)%, kategori sedang dengan frekuensi sedang sebnyak 3 responden (30%), sedangkan dalam kategori rendah dengan frekuensi sebanyak 3 responden (30%).

Abstract

This research aims to improve the reading learning outcomes of grade 1 students at SD Negeri 1 Demak ijo using the SAS method in Indonesian language subjects. Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out in two cycles where the cycle was held in one meeting. The subjects of this research were 19 grade 1 students at SD Negeri 1 Demak Ijo. Data collection techniques through tests, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that: (1) students became more fluent in reading, (2) there was an increase in reading learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects for grade 1 students at SD Negeri 1 Demak Ijo. This increase is proven by the results of the pre-cycle test, the average class score was 63.2, then it increased in the first cycle to 75.7 and increased in the second cycle to 90. The percentage of completeness of learning outcomes during the pre-cycle was 68%, in the first cycle it was 68,42% and in cycle II, 84.21% achieved KKTP ≥ 75. From the research results above, it can be concluded that applying the SAS method can improve reading learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects for grade 1 students at SD Negeri 1 Demak Ijo.

Abstract

The background for choosing the title above is because Enhanced Spelling (EYD) cannot be simply ignored in scientific writing. In other words, the use of punctuation plays an important role in making scientific written language effective for readers. The problem that will be analyzed in this research is how errors are made by writers of capital letters and punctuation in descriptive essays by fourth grade students at SD N I Demakijo? What are the forms of spelling errors in descriptive essays for fourth grade students at SD N I Demakijo.The aim to be achieved is to find out errors in writing capital letters and punctuation in descriptive essays for fourth grade students at SD Negeri I DemakIjo, to describe the forms of spelling errors in descriptive essays for fourth grade students at SD Negeri I DemakIjo.The method used in this research is qualitative method.The research variables are forms of punctuation and spelling errors in the essays of class IV students at SD N I Demakijo. The data in this research consist of errors in the use of punctuation marks in students' essays which are the object of research. The data source in this research is the sample. The research determined the data source in this research, namely student essays made by class IV students at SD Negeri I Demakijo. The data collection technique in this research uses reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. From the results of the analysis, it was found that types of language errors included a) errors in writing full stops, b) errors in writing commas, c) errors in writing hyphens, d) errors in capital letters. A form of spelling error is an error in using a period which is caused by the writer not including a period at the end of the sentence. The second form of error, namely errors in using commas, is caused by several factors, for example, in a detail or number, commas are not found between the elements. The third form of error is the use of hyphens because they were not included in the student's essay. The last form of error is a capital letter error which is caused by the writer not using a capital letter to start a sentence.
