Abstract

This This study examines Alen-Alen Bu Wati's efforts to develop micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by using the Instagram platform as a digital marketing tool. The use of social media such as Instagram in the modern era allows MSMEs to increase the visibility of their products, reach more customers, and build stronger relationships with existing customers. Using qualitative data collection methods, this research investigates business owners directly and analyzes sales data before and after using Instagram as a promotional tool. The aim of this process is to radiate how effective digital marketing strategies are to overcome conventional marketing problems and increase product competitiveness in the wider market. Research shows that the use of Instagram significantly increases sales of Bu Wati's alen-alen and increases product market share, attracting customers at local and international levels. To attract audience attention, an approach of engaging visual content and consistent interaction with customers has proven successful. This study found that Instagram can be an important marketing tool for the sustainability of MSMEs in the digital era, especially in terms of increasing market access and increasing business profits.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze KFC's business strategy using Porter's Five Forces Model. This analysis includes five competitive forces: threat of new entrants, bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining power of buyers, threat of substitute products, and competition between existing firms. Aims to understand external factors that influence a company's competitiveness in the industry. The methodology used in this research is a case study with a qualitative analysis approach. The data used was obtained through related literature, company annual reports, and other secondary sources that discuss KFC's competitive position. The analysis results show that KFC has a competitive advantage through brand strength, global distribution and product innovation, even though it faces threats from intense competition and changing trends in consumer preferences.

Abstract

Digital literacy plays a crucial role in local economic empowerment by enhancing community skills and knowledge in utilizing information technology. Through digital literacy, communities can access information, collaborate, and innovate, which in turn increases competitiveness and sustainability of the local economy. Community-based learning is an effective approach to enhance digital literacy, as it allows active community participation and adapts learning materials to local needs. Thus, digital literacy not only contributes to improving quality of life but also strengthens economic resilience in facing global challenges. Efforts to enhance digital literacy among communities are essential steps in promoting sustainable local economic empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peluang, tantangan, dan dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap pasar modal syariah di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif, penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis kinerja pasar modal syariah selama dan setelah pandemi, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangannya di masa pemulihan ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kinerja pasar modal syariah, dengan penurunan indeks yang drastis pada awal pandemi, namun terdapat pemulihan yang cukup signifikan pada beberapa sektor, seperti farmasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan utama dalam pasar modal syariah, termasuk kurangnya literasi masyarakat, peraturan yang belum memadai, serta stigma tentang biaya investasi yang mahal. Untuk meningkatkan peran pasar modal syariah, diperlukan penguatan sistem, literasi masyarakat, kepercayaan terhadap produk syariah, serta regulasi yang mendukung. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pasar modal syariah sebagai bagian dari strategi pemulihan ekonomi nasional pasca pandemi.

Abstract

This journal writing focuses on the role of digital marketing as a strategy in building brand awareness at the Browmer cake shop in Palopo City. The purpose of this writing is to determine the role of digital marketing as a strategy in building brand awareness at the Browmer cake shop in Palopo City. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The data used is secondary data consisting of search results data with research objects, journal articles from research results, previous scientific articles from Google Scholar related to the purpose of writing, namely to determine the role of digital marketing as a strategy in building brand awareness at the Browmer cake shop in Palopo City. The results of the study show that marketing carried out through digital marketing has played a positive role in the sales volume and brand awareness of the Browmer cake shop in Palopo City. This makes it easier for consumers to make product purchases. The ordering process is carried out through personal messages/direct messages on Instagram social media. The Browmer cake shop uses digital marketing not only as a marketing and promotional media, but also as a strategy to build brand awareness in the minds of consumers. Then regarding brand awareness, Browmer's store utilizes Instagram as a social media marketing in conducting brand recall to consumers by utilizing the features available on Instagram to post photos or videos of Browmer's store products every day after production is complete so that consumers can remember Browmer's store products.

Abstract

Introducing economic principles at an early age is crucial for shaping children's understanding of resource management and wise decision-making. This study aims to explore effective teaching methods in economic education at the elementary level, including contextual learning, practical approaches, and the development of problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills. The methods used include literature analysis and relevant case studies. The findings indicate that interactive approaches, such as role-playing and entrepreneurial projects, can enhance students' understanding of economic concepts. Furthermore, parental and community involvement in the learning process also contributes to the development of entrepreneurial values and innovation. Therefore, integrating economic principles into the elementary education curriculum is essential for preparing students to face future economic challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of marketing strategies on increasing the number of policyholders at BUMIPUTERA insurance company in Medan. In the increasingly competitive insurance industry, companies are required to design effective marketing strategies to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This research employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with 10 respondents, consisting of policyholders and potential customers of BUMIPUTERA insurance in Medan. The data analysis is conducted through thematic analysis, focusing on a deep understanding of the influence of various marketing strategy elements, such as promotion, communication, product development, and distribution, on customers’ decisions to choose insurance products. The results of the study show that marketing strategies involving effective promotions, the use of social media, andimproved service quality significantly affect customers’ decisions to join the company. Additionally, respondents emphasized the importance of developing products that meet the needs of the community, especially in terms of flexibility and benefits offered. The study also reveals that the close relationship between insurance agents and customers, as well as transparent communication, are key factors in building trust and customer loyalty. In conclusion, appropriate marketing strategies can significantly increase the number of policyholders at BUMIPUTERA insurance in Medan and support the company’s long-term growth.

Abstract

Dalam konteks yang semakin terhubung, media sosial berperan penting dalam membentuk persepsi dan preferensi konsumen. Melalui interaksi yang terjadi di platform media sosial, konsumen dapat mengakses informasi produk, ulasan, dan rekomendasi yang mempengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk membeli suatu barang.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa baik pelanggan menerima dan menggunakan aplikasi BRImo di Kota Palopo. Penelitian ini menemukan komponen yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan dengan layanan perbankan digital ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BRImo diterima dengan baik, tetapi ada beberapa hal yang perlu ditingkatkan, seperti sistem harus lebih stabil dan mudah digunakan. Studi ini menemukan beberapa cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan BRImo, seperti mengoptimalkan fitur, meningkatkan keamanan data, dan meningkatkan layanan pelanggan. Akibatnya, BRI diharapkan dapat memenuhi ekspektasi pelanggan yang terus berkembang dan mempertahankan keunggulannya di pasar perbankan digital.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of banking digitalization on student satisfaction at Muhammadiyah Palopo University. This research uses a quantitative method where the population used is all UMP students and the sample consists of 30 samples. This research uses Simple Random Sampling Technique. And using primary data in the form of a questionnaire. The research results show that there is an influence between the Banking Digitalization variable (X) on Student Satisfaction (Y). By implementing banking digitalization, the bank believes it can be compared and has the best responsiveness to customer (student) needs. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out in this research, it can be concluded that there are benefits or positive effects of using digital banking at Sharia Banks on student satisfaction. Currently, customers (students) are used to using digital banking.
