Abstract

The stunting problem is a global nutritional problem faced by most countries in parts of the world, including in developed countries though. In developing countries, the number of children in rural areas who experience stunting is more than 50% or almost 1.5 times greater than children in urban areas. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting toddlers decreased from 24.4% in 2021 to 21.6% in 2022. In Indonesia, stunting is called dwarfism, meaning that there is impaired physical growth and brain growth in children. This devotional activity is carried out to train midwives in an effort to improve the midwife's ability to prevent and detect stunting events. The implementation of the Activity is carried out in a hybrid way, where participants follow 40 participants online. The methods used are lectures, discussions and simulations. The implementation of this activity is in partnership with IBI Manager Soppeng Branch. The results showed that participants filled 40 posts, of which 73.01% of the participants had good knowledge. Activities carried out in an orderly manner according to the activity plan.

Abstract

Balanced nutrition is a daily food composition that contains nutrients in types and quantities that suit the body's needs, taking into account the principles of food diversity, physical activity, clean living behavior and monitoring body weight regularly in order to maintain a normal body weight to prevent nutritional problems. and maintain the immune system in the body. Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood, where physical, emotional and psychological changes occur. To achieve optimal growth, adequate nutritional intake is needed. A diet with balanced nutrition is one of the main factors in the complex nutritional problems in Indonesia. People need to get clear and adequate information about a diet with balanced nutrition, including eating a variety of foods (eating vegetables and fruit), clean living behavior, physical activity, and regularly weighing yourself as a component of a balanced lifestyle. Basically, nutritional problems in adolescents arise due to incorrect nutritional behavior, namely an imbalance between nutritional consumption and recommended nutritional adequacy. Nutritional condition or nutritional status is a description of what is consumed over a long period of time. The nutritional condition can be in the form of undernutrition, good or normal or overnutrition. Deficiency of one nutrient can cause disease in the form of deficiency disease. Abstract

Poisoning by chemicals is a major public health issue that is frequently disregarded. Many people are yearly exposed to hazardous materials at home, at work, and when participating in outdoor activities. This exposure can happen by ingesting, skin contact, or inhalation. It can have a range of health effects, from minor ailments to serious illnesses. This community service project aims to implement a first aid education plan for chemical poisoning in schools using simulation techniques. The implementation method in this activity is a simulation, participants are taught practically how to handle poisoning situations, including recognizing symptoms, taking initial action, and knowing when to contact emergency services with a total of 25 partners from SMK Y Kediri Regency. The post-test findings indicated that participants' knowledge of chemical poisoning first aid had significantly increased. Most participants demonstrated a higher level of mastery of the necessary concepts and activities by answering nearly all questions correctly. Students that participate in this program get practical skills in addition to information. It is anticipated that this will lessen the possibility and effects of chemical poisoning while also enhancing community preparedness for emergencies.

Abstract

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a chronic gastrointestinal disorder characterized by regurgitation of gastric contents into the esophagus, causing a variety of clinical symptoms such as heartburn, regurgitation, and atypical presentations such as chest pain, chronic cough, and asthma. In the elderly, GERD is very common, often with atypical symptoms and has a higher risk of complications, including esophagitis, Barrett's esophagus, and esophageal cancer. Functional dispepsia, another common gastrointestinal disorder, affects more than 20% of the population and is associated with significant negative impacts on quality of life and health care costs. This community service activity aims to screen for GERD and dispepsia in the elderly population through the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach. The activity was carried out at Panti Bina Bhakti, South Tangerang, involving 93 elderly participants aged over 65 years. The results showed that 64 people (68.82%) had a 50% chance of GERD, 21 people (22.58%) had a 79% chance of GERD, and 6 people (6.45%) had an 89% chance of GERD. Screening for GERD and dispepsia in the elderly is very important for early detection and timely intervention, which can prevent disease progression and reduce the risk of complications.

Abstract

Body composition is the ratio of fat mass to fat-free mass in the body, which is an important factor in maintaining health, especially in adolescents who are experiencing rapid growth and development. Balanced body composition in adolescence can support physical health and prevent various diseases. Imbalanced body composition has the potential to cause obesity, metabolic disorders, heart disease, and musculoskeletal problems. Educational activities and body composition examinations are carried out using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach, involving counseling on healthy lifestyles and body composition examinations. This program has succeeded in increasing adolescents' understanding of the importance of maintaining body composition balance and adopting healthy habits. Health education and routine body composition monitoring provide benefits in preventive efforts to prevent future health risks. Continuous body composition examinations and education are important steps in efforts to control health among adolescents.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is experienced by 90% of women in Indonesia, which causes 14% of women not to attend school or do not carry out daily activities, thus reducing their productivity. Adolescent girls are emotionally unstable, if they are not well informed about the menstrual process, they are prone to primary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea is experienced by many adolescents who are in the stage of growth and development, both physical and psychological.Several efforts have been made to reduce pain complaints in cases of Disminorea including non-pharmacological interventions, among others with Rosulullah style treatment, known as Thibbun Nabiwi's treatment, including by listening to Qur'an morrotal and breathing exercises, this treatment is cheap and can be done independently by everyone who experiences. The implementation of socialization at the Aisyiyah Gremet Orphanage is very much needed considering that in the school there are many cases of Dismenorea, and no one has provided an understanding of the case and how to manage it in a non-pharmacological manner so that it can be overcome without giving side effects. It is necessary to hold continuous health education in connection with the lack of an MOU with health institutions, The follow-up plan is to plan health counseling, especially in the health sector, regarding alternative actions that can be taken to overcome menstrual pain in addition to pharmacological drugs..

Abstract

The implementation of electronic medical records at Hidayah Boyolali Hospital from January 2023 until now is not free from risks. The risks that generally occur are incomplete filling out of electronic medical records due to doctors' indiscipline in filling out patient treatment histories, inappropriate access to medical record information due to errors in patient identification, and errors in coding patient diagnoses which cause difficulties in claims and inappropriate service financing. The aim of PkM is to increase the knowledge and skills of medical record officers regarding hybrid medical record risk management. The PkM stages are: (1) preparation and licensing, (2) presentation of material and case studies, and (3) evaluation. The results of PkM are increased knowledge and ability to identify risks, assess risks, and treat risks in hybrid medical records. Implementation of risk management is carried out in the patient registration unit, patient data processing unit, patient data storage unit, and medical information release unit.
