Abstract

This study aims to determine how teachers manage the classroom to create optimal learning conditions for elementary school students at MI Attarbiyah Addiniyah Al-Amin Gersik West Lombok in grade 5. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were three elementary school teachers who differed in terms of background, experience, and teaching style. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that based on the results of the study, the following conclusions can be drawn: the role of teachers in classroom management on the learning outcomes of elementary school students includes learning strategies, habituation, exemplary, reinforcement, and extracurricular activities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of the role playing learning method to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes for Class VI students at SD and to find out what obstacles there are in implementing the role playing learning method in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes for Class VI students at SD. . This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe the application of the role playing method in Indonesian language subjects to improve the learning outcomes of Class VI students at SD. The sample in this study was only 1 class VI homeroom teacher. The use of the Role Playing learning method can increase the active learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 1 Kalikarung. The following data shows student learning outcomes. Based on data from the learning outcomes of 30 students, the average use of the roller playing method for students has increased. The suggestions that researchers can convey are that teachers can use role playing in learning, because role playing can increase teacher activity and student activity in learning Indonesian; 2. Teachers should use role playing, because using role playing can improve students' Indonesian language learning outcomes; 3. Teachers can use role playing to help improve students' Indonesian language learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research discusses the readiness for implementing the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum in Arabic Language Education at the level of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum is an initiative by the Indonesian government to improve the quality of education and produce excellent human resources. Teachers is a key role in the success of curriculum implementation, but there are still challenges in understanding and effectively applying the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum. The research methodology used is qualitative descriptive, with data collected through interviews with teachers and literature review. The results show that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has two options for curriculum implementation: using the 2013 Curriculum with some principles of the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum, or fully adopting the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum with graduation competency standards and learning achievements. Challenges faced by teachers in implementing the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum include limited understanding, lack of educational resources, and insufficient support from parents. Special seminars for educators to understand and apply the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum are needed. In conclusion, the implementation of the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah aligns with the policies set by Kemendikbudristek, with adaptations to meet the specific needs of each Madrasah.

Abstract

Effort which began at the elementary school level, then encouraged the implementation of an active learning approach at the secondary school level. The results of these efforts were gradually integrated into the 1984 Curriculum, the 1994 Curriculum, and the 2004 Competency-Based Curriculum, which was followed by the Content Standards which are better known as the 2006 Educational Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) (Mushfiqon and Nanda, 2015) ..The scientific approach is a learning model that provides space for students to explore and elaborate on the material being studied. Apart from that, this education model also provides students with the opportunity to hone their abilities through learning activities that have been designed by the teacher (Rusman, 2015). The scientific approach method is a learning and learning process that is designed in such a way that students actively construct concepts and laws through manifestation in various stages of observing (to identify or find problems), formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data using various techniques, analyzing data, draw conclusions, and communicate the concepts, laws or principles found (Karar and Yenice, 2012).

Abstract

This article examines the impact of technology use on young children, exploring the role of digital devices in their cognitive, social, and emotional development. While technology provides endless learning opportunities, it is important for parents and educators to understand healthy limits in technology use to support a child's positive growth in the digital age. The development of technology is a challenge for children's development. The use of gadgets for early childhood development can have an impact on the growth and development of young children both physically and mentally.

Abstract

In fostering the disciplinary character of students, the roles of teachers and student guardians include: First, the role of the teacher is to be a motivator, facilitator, inspirer, informator and also a guide, the teacher becomes a role model for students in providing good examples in speech or behavior. Second, the role of student guardians such as instilling respect for others, getting children used to obeying the rules that have been agreed upon at home, and ensuring that children do positive activities. While the general methods applied by teachers are, conducting socialization between teachers and student guardians, getting students used to following the rules at school, and being a good role model for students. The special methods applied by the teacher are: giving prizes if students obey school rules well and giving punishment if students violate school rules. The general methods used by student guardians include providing direction and limits in carrying out activities, being a good example for children, educating children to have empathy for others and be responsible for their actions. The specific methods applied by student guardians are making a schedule of children's activities, giving prizes if children reach targets, making agreements together about rules at home and giving punishment if children break the rules at home.

Abstract

In the learning process at school between educators and students there must be social interaction. As an educator, you should realize what should be done to be able to create a conducive learning environment for students in order to achieve the expected goals. Therefore, the selection of an interesting and fun learning model is needed. One of the learning models that can be applied to mathematics subjects in elementary schools is the make a match learning model. This study aims to determine the utilization of the make a match learning model as well as the teacher's handling in overcoming students who are left behind in mathematics learning through the make a match model. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study found that the utilization of the make a match learning model in one of the elementary schools in Karawang was planned in accordance with the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) prepared by the teacher, with the implementation and learning process according to the stages, namely the initial activities, core activities, and closing activities. The teacher's handling in overcoming students who are lagging behind in learning are: 1) providing motivation to students, 2) conducting learning activities outside the classroom in order to facilitate the movement of students so that learning is easier.

Abstract

Reading learning is one of the lessons that has an important role in the learning process. Reading is one of the main foundations in developing knowledge. The way to foster interest in learning to read in students is by motivation from a teacher. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that the role of teachers in motivating learning to read to first grade elementary school students is needed. Various ways of motivation that can be done by the teacher. Each teacher has different ways of providing motivation. It can be seen that in every activity created by the teacher in the process of providing motivation to students. students look happy and enthusiastic in learning to read.

Abstract

Ice Breaking is a game or activity that functions to change the atmosphere of ice in a group. The 2013 curriculum is expected to provide a balanced balance of cognitive aspects, affective aspects and psychomotor aspects, so that the learning that occurs is expected to run by balancing these three aspects, unlike what has happened so far where learning tends to prioritize only cognitive aspects. If icebreaking is used in 2013 curriculum learning, it will be fun learning and strengthen students' concentration. In this research, researchers used a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive methods. The data in this research was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research relate to the application of icebreaking to increase students' concentration in thematic learning. The process of implementing icebreaking in class VI thematic learning has gone well, starting from selecting the types of quizzes and games to be implemented. The positive impact is that students are happy and can interact with other students, apart from that, students are trained to concentrate on the icebreakers given, students become more familiar with other friends, and appreciate friends' answers even though they are wrong, and students are also invited to to solve the problem of a given icebreaker.

Abstract

Extracurricular English Club is an activity held by the school to add English lessons to English Club extracurricular activities. To develop English language skills in Learners. It is also driven by the interest and talent of learners in English. Extracurricular activities become a place for students to channel their interests and talents. This study aims to determine the process of implementing English Club extracurricular activities in developing English language skills as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses descriptive research method with qualitative approach. The informants in this study were teachers who support English Club extracurricular activities and students who participated in English Club extracurriculars. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps in analyzing data are using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion making.
