Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

Socialization of strengthening digital literacy for Village-Owned Enterprises administrators in order to create independent tourist villages and improve the welfare of MSMEs in rural areas. This socialization was carried out in a number of Bugel villages in Ciawi, Balla villages in Luwuk, and Bahar Mulya villages in Muaro Jamb. this socialization aims to improve the digital literacy of Village-Owned Enterprise administrators in creating independent tourist villages and improving the welfare of rural community MSMEs. The author believes that increasing digital literacy will increase creativity, improve the management system and promotional reach to create tourist villages that generate a lot of income and of course can increase the original village income in accordance with the objectives of establishing Village-Owned Enterprises. If the creativity and management system of Village-Owned Enterprises increase, the creation of independent tourist villages can be achieved. If an independent tourist village is achieved, the number of visitors will increase and the potential income of MSMEs will also increase. The author believes that this can improve the welfare of rural MSMEs.

Abstract

Student startups have significant potential to grow if supported by effective innovation management. However, many startups at Universitas Islam Kebangsaan Indonesia (UNIKI) still face challenges in managing ideas, prototype development, and business strategies. This community service program aims to implement innovation management through training, mentoring, and evaluation of student startups at UNIKI. The method includes a needs survey, training on innovation management, prototyping workshops, and intensive mentoring for two months. The results indicate an improvement in students' understanding of innovation management, with 60% of startups experiencing an increase in customer acquisition. The program is recommended to continue with strengthening business networks and access to funding.

Abstract

Academic stress is a common phenomenon experienced by students in their higher education journey. Pressure from academic tasks, exams, and achievement demands can have a negative impact on students' mental health and academic performance. This study aims to explore the role of social support in helping students cope with academic stress through a qualitative approach. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 7 students from various faculties who experienced high academic stress. The results showed that social support played a significant role in reducing students' academic stress levels through four main dimensions: emotional support, informational support, instrumental support, and appraisal support. Social support was shown to be an effective protective factor in coping with students' academic stress, with family and peers as the main sources of support.

Abstract

Butterfly Pea White Tea has various health benefits, one of which is its high antioxidant content. The combination of both in one drink can provide great benefits. This study aims to test the taste, aroma, and color of white tea and butterfly pea flowers. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a sample of 32 respondents who were tested for acceptance of taste, aroma, and color. The results of this study indicate that the combination of butterfly pea white tea produces a drink with a soft taste, refreshing aroma, and attractive color. Consumer surveys showed a high level of satisfaction with 85% of respondents stating that this drink has an attractive taste and improves skin health and immunity. The combination of white tea and butterfly pea flowers produces a drink that not only has a color, taste, and aroma that consumers like, but also has health benefits. This drink has the potential to become a popular health drink on the market.

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial period marked by strong emotions and the search for identity, which greatly affect social relationships. Inside Out 2 introduces new emotions such as anxiety, envy, shame, and boredom, reflecting the complexity of emotions experienced by adolescents. The purpose of this study is to explore how adolescent emotions are depicted in Inside Out 2 and how they affect the social relationships of the main character, Riley. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with Roland Barthes' visual semiotic analysis and a developmental psychology approach. The findings of the analysis indicate that the visual design and behavior of the emotional characters symbolically depict the psychological dynamics of adolescents, as well as how unmanaged emotions can disrupt social relationships and influence negative self-perceptions. This film not only functions as a means of entertainment, but also as an effective educational medium in increasing understanding of the importance of emotional intelligence and emotional management in adolescents. These results support the potential of animated films as psychological learning tools that can be used in various disciplines.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of the fatherless phenomenon on college students' self-confidence by conducting a thorough literature review. The presence of a father within the family setting is crucial for a child's identity formation, personal growth, and psychological well-being. Nevertheless, the issue of father absence, often referred to as fatherlessness, remains a pressing concern in Indonesia. Data from 2021 indicates that approximately 20.9% of Indonesian children are raised without a father figure. This absence significantly affects the development of self-confidence, particularly among those transitioning into early adulthood. This study adopts a qualitative methodology through a literature review, drawing upon credible scientific publications from the past five to ten years. The findings suggest that fatherlessness has a tangible influence on children's levels of self-confidence and their overall psychosocial adjustment. Identified effects include challenges in decision-making, increased social anxiety, identity confusion, academic decline, and difficulty forming meaningful social relationships. Children growing up without paternal involvement often exhibit low self-esteem, social withdrawal, and a reduced capacity to trust others.

Abstract

This study analyzes the representation of psychological trauma and coping mechanisms in Matt Reeves' film The Batman (2022), highlighting Robert Pattinson's interpretation of the character Bruce Wayne as a figure grappling with unresolved childhood trauma. Through a cinematic and psychological approach, the film presents the most realistic and profound portrayal of the psychological impact of the tragic loss of a parent, depicting Wayne as an individual suffering from chronic insomnia, extreme social isolation, emotional numbing, hypervigilance, and difficulty forming interpersonal relationships—symptoms characteristic of PTSD. The Batman identity is used as a maladaptive coping mechanism, serving as an escape from healthy grief processing and reinforcing the trauma cycle through obsessive compulsions toward justice and destructive revenge fantasies. Wayne's relationships with Alfred, Selina Kyle, and Commissioner Gordon reflect issues of emotional attachment and fear of rejection rooted in the loss of parental figures, while the narrative parallels between Batman and the Riddler highlight the concept of inherited trauma and how individuals with similar inner wounds can develop vastly different coping strategies.

Abstract

This article examines the implementation of differentiated instruction within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum in the Biology subject at the Senior High School (SMA) level, using a literature review approach with the PRISMA method. The synthesis of ten scholarly articles analyzed indicates that differentiated instruction has a positive impact on student learning outcomes, engagement, and the development of 21st-century skills. However, its implementation faces challenges such as time constraints, limited teacher capacity, and insufficient policy support. Effective strategies identified include continuous teacher training, teacher collaboration, and the integration of technology and active learning models such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Discovery Learning. This study emphasizes the need for an adaptive, flexible, and inclusive approach to ensure the optimal implementation of differentiated instruction. As a contribution, this research helps develop instructional practices that are more responsive to student diversity and supports national education transformation. Differentiated instruction is also expected to address challenges in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in the Biology subject, by providing opportunities for teachers to design strategies that align with the unique characteristics of each student.

Abstract

Aplikasi dompet digital seperti Gopay sekarang sangat dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan modern karena kemajuan teknologi digital yang pesat. Namun, pengujian perangkat lunak menjadi sangat penting untuk menjamin keandalan dan kenyamanan pengguna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi fungsionalitas aplikasi Gopay dengan menggunakan metode Black Box dan teknik Partitioning Equivalence untuk menemukan kesalahan dan meningkatkan kualitas aplikasi. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui pengujian langsung fitur-fitur utama aplikasi, seperti registrasi, login, transfer, top-up, pembayaran QRIS, dan penarikan tunai. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar fitur berjalan seperti yang diharapkan, tetapi ada beberapa ketidaksesuaian pada fitur seperti transfer dan top-up. Penelitian ini meningkatkan pemahaman kita tentang bagaimana pengujian fungsional penting untuk memastikan kualitas sistem keuangan digital dan menyarankan pengembangan lebih lanjut yang mencakup aspek non-fungsional. Pengembang, pengguna, dan pemangku kepentingan dalam lingkungan teknologi keuangan digital akan memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi fungsionalitas fitur permohonan informasi publik yang tersedia pada situs resmi Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat menggunakan metode black box testing. Metode ini digunakan untuk menilai sistem dari sisi input dan output tanpa melihat struktur internal perangkat lunak. Pengujian dilakukan pada beberapa komponen penting, seperti formulir permohonan informasi, navigasi, tampilan informasi, dan responsivitas halaman. Teknik equivalence partitioning turut diterapkan guna memastikan validitas input pada formulir, dengan membagi data uji ke dalam kelas-kelas yang mewakili kemungkinan kondisi input. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar fitur berjalan sesuai ekspektasi, namun masih ditemukan beberapa kendala, terutama pada aspek validasi form yang belum sepenuhnya akurat, serta ketersediaan fungsi interaktif yang kurang optimal di beberapa bagian halaman. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa pada beberapa perangkat seluler, tampilan halaman mengalami ketidaksesuaian tata letak. Temuan ini memberikan dasar penting bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut layanan e-government agar lebih andal, transparan, dan mudah diakses oleh publik. Penguatan pada sisi aksesibilitas dan keandalan interaksi menjadi fokus penting ke depan.
