Abstract

The act of engaging in sexual intercourse with a child is a serious offense that inflicts long-term psychological and social damage on the victim. In Indonesia’s criminal justice framework, offenders may be subjected to strict legal consequences, as outlined in Law Number 35 of 2014 on Child Protection and the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP). This study seeks to analyze the form of criminal accountability applied to offenders and identify the barriers faced in enforcing legal regulations surrounding child sexual abuse. The study finds that, although the legal framework is in place, its application continues to face critical obstacles. Thus, reinforcing the child protection system and enhancing cooperation among stakeholders is vital to delivering meaningful justice for child victims.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the role of digital competence in mediating the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance in the digital era. The study was conducted in Samarinda City with a quantitative approach and path analysis method using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results of the analysis showed that transformational leadership had a significant effect on digital competence (β = 0.672, p < 0.001) and teacher performance (β = 0.538, p < 0.001), both directly and indirectly. After including digital competence as a mediating variable, the direct influence of leadership on performance decreased to β = 0.285, with an indirect effect of β = 0.413 and a Variance Accounted For (VAF) value of 52.8%, indicating the existence of partial mediation. These findings confirm that digital competence is an important mechanism that bridges the relationship between transformational leadership and teacher performance. Therefore, the integration of transformational leadership development strategies with digital competency training is the key to improving the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

The objective of this community service activity is to enhance career motivation and the capacity of micro-entrepreneurs in Warnasari Village, Cileunca, Pangalengan, so they can develop more sustainable and competitive businesses. The method used was training, which included interactive lectures, group discussions, and practical simulations on business planning, financial management, branding, and the use of technology in marketing. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests to measure changes in participants’ understanding. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding of business management and planning, as well as the development of follow-up plans to grow their businesses. However, challenges remain, particularly limited capital and access to ongoing mentoring. The implication of this activity highlights the importance of long-term mentoring to support micro-entrepreneurs in applying the knowledge gained, and the need to expand access to capital and marketing to ensure sustainable business growth.

Abstract

The culture of work ethic in the educational environment, especially in high school, plays an important role in shaping the character, responsibility, and productivity of school residents. However, there are still many high schools in Indonesia that face challenges in fostering strong and sustainable work ethic values. This study aims to examine in depth the influence of school principal leadership, school community discipline, and work environment on the formation of a work ethic culture. The research uses a qualitative approach through literature studies of scientific sources published from 2020 to 2024. The data were analysed thematically by identifying the relationships between variables through the synthesis of concepts and theories. The results of the study show that the transformational leadership of school principals is very influential in building a commitment to a work ethic. Consistent discipline and a supportive work environment strengthen the application of work values such as integrity, diligence, and responsibility. These findings show that work ethic culture is formed through systemic interactions between leadership style, rule implementation, and work environment conditions. Strategic intervention is needed through leadership training, strengthening the educational discipline system, and improving the quality of school facilities and work climate to realise a work culture with character.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the symbolic meaning of the Sa’o Bei Zi’a traditional house as a representation of cultural values within the Ngada community and its relevance in implementing an ethnopedagogical approach based on local wisdom. The Sa’o Bei Zi’a house functions not only as a residence but also as a spiritual, social, and informal educational center that reflects noble values such as mutual cooperation, social hierarchy, and harmonious relationships with nature. A qualitative approach using literature review and in-depth interviews was employed to explore its symbolic meanings and educational potential. The findings indicate that the structure and ornaments of the traditional house contain moral and pedagogical messages that can be integrated into the learning process, particularly in shaping students' character rooted in local culture. The ethnopedagogical approach based on Sa’o Bei Zi’a offers an alternative model of contextual education that strengthens cultural identity and responds to the challenges of globalization without abandoning traditional roots.

Abstract

Electricity access in remote areas such as Dusun Baku, Desa Sumi, Kecamatan Lambu, remains a significant challenge due to the absence of PLN (state electricity company) grid infrastructure. This study aims to design a 500-watt Off-Grid Solar Power Plant (Photovoltaic/PLTS) system as a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solution. The research uses an experimental approach, beginning with literature review, field data collection, and energy requirement analysis. The designed system consists of two 250 Wp solar panels, an MPPT-type solar charge controller, a 12V 200Ah VRLA battery, and a 1000W pure sine wave inverter. The system is capable of producing approximately 1.875 kWh per day, sufficient to meet basic household electricity needs such as lighting, fan, television, and mobile device charging. This Off-Grid PLTS provides a practical, cost-effective, and sustainable electricity solution for underserved areas while supporting Indonesia’s national renewable energy target.

Abstract

The increase in odor levels from the Cilowong Final Waste Disposal Site (TPSA), Serang, Banten, has had a negative impact on air quality and the health of the surrounding community. This community service activity aims to develop an early warning system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Artificial Intelligence (AI) and gas sensor technology to monitor in real time emissions of odorous gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), ammonia (NH₃), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This system is designed to analyze environmental data patterns using machine learning and provide early warnings to the public through a digital platform based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The development process refers to the CRISP-DM method in data processing and predictive modeling (Wirth & Hipp, 2000), and uses electrochemical-based sensors that have been proven effective in environmental monitoring (Kim et al., 2021). The implementation results show that the system is able to improve the community's rapid response to potential odor hazards and support decision-making by environmental managers. This innovation is a strategic step to encourage sustainable environmental management and protect public health from exposure to air pollutants.

Abstract

Pola pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam berbasis case method adalah upaya untuk mengelola pembelajaran nilai-nilai keIslaman sesuai perspektif pendekatan case method. Upaya ini merupakan respons terhadap permasalahan penyelenggaraan pendidikan Islam yang belum sepenuhnya dijiwai nilai-nilai ajaran Islam, dan pendekatan belajar aktif. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan studi pustaka digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sumber data dari literatur karya ilmiah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pola pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, meliputi pemikiran, konsep, dan aktivitas mentransformasikan nilai-nilai Islam yang humanis dalam diri subyek belajar. Pola pembelajaran ini juga sekaligus merupakan respons atas kondisi penyelenggaraan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yang dalam praktek pengelolaannya belum bertolak dari teori, konsep, desain nilai ajaran Islam sehingga tercapai transformasi karakter sosial. Pola pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam berbasis case method ini merupakan bentuk formulasi konsep teoretis dan praktik aktivitas pengelolaan pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan Islam dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter mahasiswa.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan bencana hidrologis yang umum terjadi dan memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap aspek sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan, terutama di wilayah tropis seperti Indonesia, Salah satu wilayah yang rentan terhadap banjir adalah daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Budong-Budong di Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah, Sulawesi Barat, Banjir besar yang terjadi pada 3 Januari 2024, dengan intensitas hujan mencapai 68 mm/hari, mengakibatkan kerusakan pada 559 rumah, dua prasarana umum, serta memutus akses jalan sepanjang 600 meter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sebaran banjir yang terjadi di Kabupaten Mamuju Tengah dan mengevaluasi pengurangan kerusakan banjir (flood damage reduction) berdasarkan alternatif solusi yang diusulkan dengan pemodelan HEC-RAS 2D, Analisis hidrologi menggunakan HEC-HMS menunjukkan debit banjir 20 tahunan (Q₂₀) sebesar 2.684,7 m³/s, Model hidraulika HEC-RAS 2D, kondisi genangan banjir eksisting pada Sungai Budong-Budong seluas 10.608 ha dengan total kerugian ekonomi sebesar Rp 307,023 miliar, Secara ekonomi penanganan dengan normalisasi sungai memberikan dampak reduksi kerugian yang sangat signifikan sebesar 42% namun dilihat dari luasan reduksi banjir, penanganan dengan tanggul sungai memberikan dampak yang lebih baik dalam mereduksi luas genangan sebesar 25,76%, Ini menjadi salah satu alternatif solusi dan menjadi bahan pertimbangan didalam perencanaan pengelolaan sumber daya dir pada DAS Budong-Budong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh online customer review terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswi Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias dalam pembelian produk kosmetik rias wajah dekoratif di TikTok Shop. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswi aktif Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa online customer review memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Elemen-elemen seperti persepsi kegunaan, kredibilitas sumber, kualitas argumen, dan jumlah ulasan memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi konsumen untuk lebih bijak dalam menyikapi ulasan daring serta bagi pelaku usaha dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran berbasis ulasan pelanggan.
