Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung in 2025 was conducted in Jambudipa Village, Cisarua District, West Bandung Regency. The program aimed to raise public awareness of health, promote better environmental management, and strengthen Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in obtaining business legality. The methods included observation, surveys, discussions, socialization, training, mentoring, and monitoring carried out over one month, from August 6 to September 6, 2025. The results showed improved community knowledge regarding stunting prevention, the role of integrated health posts, and access to free medical services. In environmental aspects, the community began practicing waste segregation and applying biopore technology to manage organic waste. In the economic sector, MSME actors received assistance in obtaining Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and free halal certification. In conclusion, this program contributes to building a healthy, clean, and economically independent village through collaborative approaches between students, village authorities, and the community. Program sustainability through continuous mentoring and support is essential to ensure that the outcomes serve as a foundation for Jambudipa Village’s long-term sustainable development.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the field of community engagement. The 38th group of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung conducted KKN activities in Legok Kidul Village, Paseh District, Sumedang Regency, focusing on the development of children’s lifeskills, pharmaceutical literacy, and bilingualism. The program was carried out on August 12–14, 2025, at SD Talun, along with continuous learning activities at the KKN post. The method used was a participatory approach through counseling, simulation, practice, and guided learning. The results showed an improvement in children’s ability to organize daily schedules, manage simple finances, recognize drug types and logos, and practice preparing powdered medicines. In addition, routine tutoring enhanced children’s language skills, particularly in mastering basic English vocabulary through reading, singing, and simple exercises. Documentation such as photos, worksheets, and children’s outputs indicated high levels of active participation. These findings align with literature emphasizing the importance of early development of life skills, health literacy, and bilingual abilities.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is one of the forms of student engagement with the community, aiming to provide real contributions in addressing local problems. The KKN activity carried out in Sukarame Village, Pacet District, Bandung Regency, focused on an educational program for elementary school students regarding bullying prevention and the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene. The method used was an interactive educational approach through the delivery of materials, group discussions, educational games, and hands-on practice. The results of the activity showed an increase in students’ understanding of the negative impacts of bullying and greater awareness of the importance of cleanliness. This program is expected to foster positive attitudes in social interactions and build healthy habits from an early age.

Abstract

Digital transformation is the key for MSMEs to grow and develop in today's modern era. The service program carried out by students to help MSMEs increase product visibility and branding through digital marketing. This program was carried out for one month with a focus on developing MSMEs through marketing digitalization including workshop seminars, mentoring, and the formation of village marketing teams. The results of the program show that the digitalization of MSME marketing has an impact on increasing digital literacy, as well as online marketing capabilities. The MSME marketing digitalization implementation program in Cijambe Village is able to increase digital understanding, business skills, and competitiveness of MSME players, while ensuring sustainability through the village marketing team.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung in Cijambe Village, Paseh District, Sumedang Regency, was implemented as a community engagement initiative to address the lack of awareness in household waste management. The program included a seminar entitled “Towards a Clean Cijambe Village: Strategies for Sustainable Waste Management”, direct assistance to local residents at the neighborhood level on organic and inorganic waste separation, as well as innovative eco-friendly product development such as compost, eco-enzyme, ecobrick, and multifunctional organic soap. The outcomes demonstrated an improvement in community knowledge and active participation in applying the 3R paradigm (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), along with the adoption of new sustainable waste management practices. Beyond enhancing environmental cleanliness, the program also contributed to the creation of local economic opportunities through waste utilization. Thus, the role of KKN students is proven to be strategic in fostering environmental awareness, strengthening community capacity, and encouraging the establishment of a sustainable community-based waste management system.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Badak Village aimed to address local economic challenges by improving financial literacy and strengthening community-based economic institutions. Despite its rich potential in agriculture, livestock, and micro-enterprises, the village faces obstacles such as poor financial management and inactive use of cooperatives. This program focused on two main initiatives: educating micro-entrepreneurs on basic financial record-keeping and promoting awareness of the Merah Putih Cooperative. Through interactive workshops and direct mentoring, participants learned how to record income and expenses, separate personal and business finances, and understand simple financial reporting. The cooperative socialization sessions helped build trust and interest in using cooperatives for shared economic benefit. As a result, the community showed increased awareness, improved financial behavior, and renewed interest in cooperative development. The program successfully laid the foundation for a more structured and collaborative village economy, contributing to long-term sustainable development.

Abstract

Badak Village is a rural area rich in natural resources, particularly in agriculture, livestock, and local crafts. One of its key strengths lies in the presence of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) managed by local residents, focusing on products such as agricultural goods, traditional snacks, and handmade crafts. MSMEs play a significant role in both national and local economic development, yet many still face major challenges in branding and financial management. Weak branding makes it difficult for products to be recognized by consumers, while poor financial recording hinders decision-making and access to financing. To address this, university students participating in a community service program (KKN) conducted educational and participatory training sessions. The training was divided into two main topics: strengthening business identity through basic branding and simplifying financial management. Through this program, MSME owners learned the importance of having a meaningful business name, effective logo design, attractive packaging, and consistent financial records. As a result, participants began to realize the value of balancing branding with sound financial practices to support sustainable business growth. This initiative marked the beginning of positive change for MSMEs in Badak Village.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa edukasi dasar kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 12 Samarinda dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi di kalangan pelajar. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama satu hari dan diikuti oleh 47 siswa, didampingi oleh dua orang dosen serta dibantu oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komputer Universitas Widya Gama Samarinda. Materi yang disampaikan berfokus pada pengenalan AI sebagai teknologi yang mampu menangani tugas-tugas kognitif seperti pembelajaran, pemecahan masalah, dan pengenalan pola. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari 10 pertanyaan angket, pelatihan ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif, di mana sebagian besar peserta berada pada kategori “Cukup Mengerti” (69,84%) dan “Sangat Mengerti” (18,99%), sementara hanya sebagian kecil yang “Kurang Mengerti” (13,12%) dan tidak ada peserta yang “Tidak Mengerti” (0%). Hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman dasar yang baik mengenai AI kepada siswa. Kegiatan ini juga menunjukkan potensi besar dalam mengembangkan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) lokal yang adaptif terhadap kemajuan teknologi, serta layak untuk dilanjutkan dalam skala yang lebih luas sebagai bagian dari upaya meningkatkan kesiapan generasi muda dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the strategies implemented by religious leaders and the village government in improving the effectiveness of Subuh congregational prayer, as well as to examine the obstacles they encountered. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, with triangulation techniques used to ensure data validity. The findings revealed that the strategies included communicative preaching approaches, exemplary behavior by religious leaders, support through adequate mosque facilities, and active collaboration between religious leaders and the village government in organizing religious programs. However, these efforts faced several obstacles, both internal such as low awareness and irregular sleeping patterns among youth and external, including weather conditions and the distance between homes and the mosque. The study concluded that the collaborative role of religious leaders and the village government was crucial in fostering collective awareness and encouraging increased youth participation in Subuh congregational prayer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi proses rekrutmen dan seleksi dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan pada salah satu kantor cabang bank syariah di Jakarta Selatan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menjaring sumber daya manusia yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan lembaga dan standar kinerja yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses rekrutmen dan seleksi telah berlangsung secara sistematis dan terpusat, mencakup tahapan perencanaan hingga seleksi akhir dengan memperhatikan nilai-nilai syariah. Proses ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja karyawan, terutama dalam hal kualitas pelayanan, pencapaian target, dan kesesuaian kompetensi dengan tuntutan jabatan. Namun, masih ditemukan kendala seperti keterbatasan pemahaman pelamar terhadap prinsip syariah, ketidaksesuaian latar belakang pendidikan, serta koordinasi yang belum optimal antara cabang dan pusat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa rekrutmen dan seleksi tidak hanya bersifat administratif, tetapi juga menjadi bagian dari strategi pembentukan identitas lembaga dan penguatan kinerja melalui pemilihan SDM yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan komunikasi, penyampaian informasi, dan pemahaman nilai-nilai perusahaan menjadi penting agar proses ini berjalan lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
