Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

Mamyambouw District is in the Arfak Mountains Regency, with a very steep slope, in May 2024 there was a landslide disaster which resulted in loss of property and life. The method for implementing community service in the Mamyambouw District consists of 3 (three) stages, namely: (1) Preparation stage; At this preparation stage, the service team explores information related to communities that have a direct impact on natural disasters and the lowest levels of government at the RT/RW level; sub-district and district levels, then with the Disaster Management Agency. After getting the information, the next step is to determine and prepare socialization materials; 2) Implementation; After preparing the material, the next stage is conducting socialization and questions and answers. In the socialization method, it is hoped that the community will participate actively so that mitigation can be identified early and mitigation related to natural disasters experienced; 3) Closing. The large number of natural disasters that occur does not make the government in general and society in particular lose their minds in managing disasters. At a minimum, the public must have knowledge about disasters obtained independently through media reporting, even though this is actually the Government's responsibility to provide information and education.

Abstract

The problem that arises is the unknown effect of Jump Rope Training on leg muscle strength. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of jump rope training on leg muscle strength in athletes at the VODESA Ayah club which is produced in the form of pretest and posttest scores through a pre-experimental approach, namely Pre-Experimental (Pre-Experimental) for volleyball athletes at the VODESA club using the jump rope training method. This study uses a quantitative approach using a descriptive research design. The instruments in this study used survey tests and vertical jump skill measurement tests. The subjects used in this study were 20 people. The results of data analysis, testing of research results, as many as 2 people (10%) were in the very good category, 6 people (30%) were in the good category, 3 people (15%) were in the sufficient category, 9 people (45%) were in the less category, and 0 people (0%) were in the very less category. So it can be concluded that the effect of jump rope on leg muscle power in Vodesa athletes in the jump rope category is in the less category.

Abstract

This article investigates the role of educational technology in improving the quality of learning in Indonesian schools in the digital era. Using qualitative methods, this study collects data from various literature sources to understand the impact of existing educational technology and its potential to improve the learning process. The results show that educational technology plays an important role in supporting interactive learning, facilitating access to information, and improving the quality of learning. However, its implementation is faced with a number of challenges, such as limited infrastructure, costs, and teacher skills in using technology. To overcome these challenges, efforts are needed to ensure adequate access to technology, develop teacher skills, and create regulations that support the use of technology in education. Thus, it is hoped that concrete recommendations can be produced to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of learning through the use of educational technology.

Abstract

Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta merupakan wilayah bersejarah yang kini dikembangkan sebagai Kawasan Rendah Emisi dengan mengedepankan mobilitas ramah lingkungan, termasuk kenyamanan pejalan kaki (walkability). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat walkability pada beberapa ruas jalan utama di kawasan tersebut menggunakan metode observasi lapangan dan piramida hirarki ketercapaian walkability dari Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP). Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa jalur pejalan kaki di kawasan ini memiliki skor walkability sebesar 32, mencerminkan kondisi yang cukup baik. Aspek yang mendapat skor tinggi antara lain fasilitas pendukung dan keamanan, sementara aspek yang memerlukan perhatian lebih meliputi kebersihan, perlindungan dari cuaca, dan aksesibilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas. Berdasarkan analisis piramida ITDP, kawasan ini dikategorikan sebagai passable, accessible, dan enjoyable. Namun, belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kriteria comfortable dan safe. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas lingkungan pejalan kaki seperti penyediaan peneduh, pencahayaan yang memadai, serta jalur inklusif sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan dalam pengembangan kawasan perkotaan yang lebih ramah pejalan kaki dan mendukung visi kota berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Sports especially volleyball is the 2nd most popular sport after football, this volleyball game is also very popular among young men and women. According to them this game is very interesting and becomes its own entertainment, with the existence of volleyball sports activities has an impact on the decline in negative activities carried out by teenagers in the Ambal sub-district. The interest of teenagers in participating in volleyball sports activities is very high as evidenced by the average answer to the questionnaire at 91% this is also a reference so that teenagers live healthier and reduce negative activities. Teenagers also need encouragement from outside such as from friends, teachers, family, the environment and also adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This is the case study on the use of e-learning in history learning in Sma Negeri 10 Pontianak. The kind of research used in the method was a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research method used was qualitative, and the approach was descriptive. Collection techniques of data were done through observation, depth interviews, and documentation with students and teachers of history and school principals. The data analysis method followed the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusion. The results of this study are: 1) History learning planning prepared by teachers in class XI D SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak is done by preparing teaching modules, teaching materials, and learning media, as well as other learning support tools. Headlights (2) The use of e-learning to teach History subjects in class is not yet fully conducive to teachers carrying out learning. (3) Obstacles in using e-learning as a teaching medium in class. It can be concluded that the use of e-learning as a medium in teaching history in class. However this does not reduce students desire to learn, in fact students prefer learning using e-learning.

Abstract

Ajaran yang diterapkan oleh organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) sangat mempengaruhi cara pandang dan perilaku anggotanya, termasuk dalam hal motivasi belajar mahasiswa. NU, sebagai salah satu organisasi keagamaan terbesar di Indonesia, memiliki sejumlah nilai ajaran yang dapat membentuk karakter dan motivasi anggotanya dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana ajaran NU dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa, serta untuk mengetahui mekanisme pengaruh tersebut. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode survei, penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara ajaran NU dan motivasi belajar di kalangan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam organisasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari ajaran NU terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa, khususnya dalam hal disiplin, etika kerja, dan semangat untuk terus menuntut ilmu

Abstract

In an educational organization, innovation plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and quality of learning. Therefore, educational institutions are required to possess sensitivity, a structured process, and precise decision-making to achieve these goals. The objective of this study is to understand the concept of innovation within educational organizations, along with their sensitivity, processes, and decision-making mechanisms. The research method employed is a literature review, with data collected from relevant articles, manuscripts, and books on educational innovation. A descriptive data analysis technique is used to analyze the gathered information. The findings of this study conclude that innovation in educational organizations is a critical element in improving the efficiency of the education system and supporting the achievement of educational goals. Through innovation, institutions become more adaptive and capable of producing competitive graduates. By comprehending each stage of the innovation process and the factors influencing decision making whether individual, collective, authoritative, or contingent educational organizations can become more adaptive and responsive to change, thereby creating a learning system that aligns with global demands.

Abstract

Pesantren memiliki peran yang strategis dalam menanamkan ilmu pengetahuan dasar yang berlandaskan Islami sehingga santri dapat menghadapi era transformasi masyarakat menuju masa depan yang modern. Tujuan pendampingan ini adalah: (1) Mewujudkan santri/wati pondok pesantren Mukhtarul Amin NWDI Rensing Bat memiliki kompetensi berbahasa Inggris melalui digital game-based learning. (2) Santri/wati pondok pesantren Mukhtarul Amin NWDI Rensing Bat memiliki lifeskill melalui bahasa Inggris sehingga dapat beradaptasi dengan zaman di era society 5.0. Metode yang digunakan partisipatory action research (PAR) tujuanya menghasilkan kegiatan yang partisipatif dan kolaboratif antara peserta kegiatan dengan fasilitator. Pengumpulan dan analisis data awal yang digunakan adalah participatory rural appraisal (PRA) yang merupakan pendekatan dalam proses pemberdayaan kapasitas masyarakat dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam keseluruhan kegiatan yang dilakukan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan 1) Pihak pondok pesantren Mukhtarul Amin NWDI Rensing Bat dan lembaga pendidikan yang ada di dalamnya ikut berperan aktif. 2) Terbangunya motivasi, interest santri/wati dan kesadaran pihak pesantren. 3) Santri/wati yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pendampingan menunjukkan kemampuan yang bagus dalam berbicara bahasa Inggris dan memahami cara belajar bahasa Inggris yang baik dan cepat dengan mengintegrasikanya dengan digital game-based learning. 4) Pengembangan program bahasa Inggris dengan teknologi seperti digital game-based learning dapat membuka peluang kreaktivitas santri/wati dalam belajar secara mandiri dan percaya diri, menjaga tradisi belajar bahasa Inggris dan meneruskanya ke santri/wati dibawahnya. 5) Program bahasa Inggris di pondok pesantren Mukhtarul Amin NWDI Rensing Bat dapat menjadi daya tarik santri/wati baru yang tak hanya

Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah di lingkungan sekolah berbasis asrama, seperti Pondok Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Daarul Furqon Palopo, menghadapi tantangan serius akibat akumulasi sampah organik yang dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi yang sistematis untuk memberdayakan santri dalam pengelolaan sampah melalui metode yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan, seperti kompos Takakura. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan santri dalam mengelola sampah organik melalui edukasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan yang dilengkapi dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur efektivitas intervensi. Pelaksanaan melibatkan 41 peserta berusia 12-19 tahun yang mayoritas adalah siswa setingkat SMP. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan setelah intervensi, dimana sebelum edukasi, 85,4% peserta berada pada kategori pengetahuan cukup, sementara setelah pelatihan, 100% peserta mencapai kategori pengetahuan baik. Uji Wilcoxon menghasilkan p value = 0.00, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari edukasi dan pelatihan. Pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan asrama dapat dicapai melalui edukasi dan pelatihan intensif yang melibatkan santri sebagai agen perubahan.
