Abstract

Studi ini meneliti bagaimana siswa kelas enam di SDN 101879 menggunakan simple future tense, dengan fokus pada kesalahan tata bahasa umum dalam tulisan mereka. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis yang dirancang untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan kata "will" dan "be going to" oleh siswa dalam konstruksi kalimat. Analisis tersebut mengidentifikasi tiga jenis kesalahan utama: kesalahan pembentukan (50%), penghilangan (30%), dan penambahan (20%). Kesalahan pembentukan merupakan kesalahan yang paling sering terjadi, yang menunjukkan kesulitan dalam menerapkan aturan tata bahasa yang benar. Kesalahan ini menunjukkan keterbatasan pengetahuan tata bahasa, gangguan bahasa pertama, dan kebingungan tentang struktur kalimat. Hasilnya menyoroti pentingnya menggunakan strategi pengajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan interaktif untuk membantu siswa menggunakan tenses bahasa Inggris dengan lebih akurat di tingkat dasar.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning) yang berfokus pada penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila di MA Al Manshuriyah. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi sekolah adalah kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap desain dan pelaksanaan proyek pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan bermuatan karakter. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan yang meliputi tiga tahapan utama: (1) workshop penyusunan modul proyek berbasis nilai Pancasila, (2) implementasi proyek di kelas secara terbimbing, dan (3) evaluasi hasil pembelajaran dan refleksi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan seluruh guru mata pelajaran dan siswa kelas XI sebagai peserta proyek. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yang ditunjukkan dengan kualitas modul yang disusun serta kemampuan dalam memfasilitasi siswa menjalankan proyek. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan proyek, serta tercermin peningkatan pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam perilaku sehari-hari, seperti gotong royong, tanggung jawab, dan toleransi. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menguatkan pendidikan karakter dan membangun budaya belajar yang lebih bermakna sesuai dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas media edukatif “Kwarture (Kwartet for Future)” dalam meningkatkan informasi karir dan keterampilan hidup anak panti asuhan. Kwarture merupakan permainan kartu edukatif yang dirancang untuk mengenalkan berbagai profesi dan jalur pendidikan secara menyenangkan dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu pretest-posttest tanpa kelompok kontrol, yang melibatkan 26 anak panti asuhan di Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan. Intervensi dilaksanakan dalam empat sesi permainan dan data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala Likert serta observasi kualitatif. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada skor informasi karir dan keterampilan hidup peserta setelah intervensi (rata-rata skor meningkat dari 58,7 menjadi 79,7). Selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif anak, peningkatan kepercayaan diri, serta antusiasme dalam eksplorasi profesi. Media ini juga mendapat penerimaan positif dari peserta. Dengan demikian, media Kwarture terbukti efektif dan berpotensi besar sebagai alat bantu dalam program pengembangan diri dan bimbingan karir di panti asuhan.

Abstract

Insurance company bankruptcy raises complex problems related to the legal protection of policyholders as creditors with special characteristics. This study analyzes the legal position of policyholders and the claim settlement mechanism in the bankruptcy process of insurance companies according to Law Number 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) and Law Number 2 of 1992 in conjunction with Law Number 40 of 2014 concerning Insurance. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory and conceptual approach, using primary legal materials in the form of laws and court decisions, as well as secondary legal materials from related literature. The results of the study indicate that policyholders have a position as preferred creditors in bankruptcy based on Article 60 of the Insurance Law, but the existing protection mechanism still has weaknesses in its implementation, especially in terms of claim verification, limited assets, and coordination between institutions. This problem is exacerbated by the unclear technical implementation and the length of the claim settlement process, which is detrimental to policyholders. A more comprehensive regulatory reformulation, the establishment of a special guarantor institution, and the strengthening of the preventive supervision system are needed to ensure legal certainty and optimal protection for policyholders facing the risk of insurance company bankruptcy.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious public health issue with long-term impacts on human resource quality and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including in Jambi Province. This study aims to analyze the contributing factors of stunting using a Machine Learning approach, specifically the Backpropagation Neural Network Regression method. The data used were obtained from the Jambi Province Central Bureau of Statistics in 2021, with independent variables including the percentage of infants not exclusively breastfed, poor sanitation access, pneumonia cases among children under five, tuberculosis cases, and the percentage of the poor population. The dependent variable is the percentage of stunted children under five. The study found that the best architecture was achieved with a learning rate of 0.01 and a network structure of 3-8-4-1-11, producing the lowest values of Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Error (MAE), at 0.598, 0.773, and 0.63, respectively. This model is capable of identifying hidden indicators (hidden layers) from each stunting factor, which can be used to design more effective policy interventions. The study concludes that the application of Machine Learning can be an innovative solution to support strategic decision-making in reducing stunting rates in Jambi Province.

Abstract

The implementation of e-Puskesmas as a web-based information management system in primary healthcare facilities in Indonesia represents a crucial step toward improving service quality and effeciency. This literature review systematically examines five scientific articles published within the last six years, employing the PRISMA method along with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search was conducted across academic platforms such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Science Direct, utilizing the PIECES analytical framework. The findings indicate that e-Puskesmas accelerates administrative processes, facilitates patient data recording, and enhances transparency and service quality. However, challenges remain in the areas of control, efficiency, and economics, particularly concerning limited equipment availability, the need for human resource training, and internet connectivity stability. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening infrastructure, enhancing healthcare workforce capacity, and continuously developing the system to maximize the benefits of e-Puskesmas. In conclusion, e-Puskesmas holds significant clinical relevance in supporting the digital transformation of healthcare services, although improvements are still necessary to ensure optimal system performance across Indonesia.

Abstract

Critical thinking in mathematics is the ability and disposition to combine knowledge, mathematical reasoning, and cognitive strategies to generalize, prove, or evaluate mathematical situations effectively. This research aims to find out how students' mathematical critical thinking abilities are in statistics material for Class X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive method. This research was carried out at SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Medan. The instruments used were test questions and interviews. The participants in this research were the entire X-Mia 1 class, totaling 21 students. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that students' ability to think critically in statistical material is classified as moderate, each student has a different level of achievement for each indicator. Due to the lack of accuracy in checking and understanding the truth in the statements given in the questions as well as including solutions and errors in indicating more specific parts. This results in errors in calculating and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

Body scrub is one of the cosmetic pharmaceutical products that functions to smooth the skin by removing dead skin cells. White rice (Oryza sativa) is used as abrasive material in making body scrubs. Lime peel contains more than 60% flavonoids and around 170 different types of phytonutrient compounds. Flavonoids are the main group of polyphenol compounds that have antioxidant properties. This study aims to identify the content of secondary metabolites in lime peel extract, test the physical quality standards of the body scrub, and determine the best body scrub formulation. The method used in this study is a laboratory experimental method. The extraction process was carried out using maceration techniques using 70% ethanol solvent. Furthermore, a phytochemical screening test was carried out to identify the content of active compounds, as well as physical testing on body scrub preparations with three different extract concentrations (2%, 3%, and 4%). In addition, a hedonic test was carried out to assess the level of preference and an irritation test to ensure product safety. Data analysis was carried out using One Way ANOVA to see the differences between formulas, and a Dependent T-test to test the level of preference for body scrub preparations. The results of the observation showed that lime peel (Citrus aurantifolia) contains various secondary metabolites, including flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, terpenoids, and antioxidant compounds.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve the understanding of fourth-grade elementary school students in Indonesian language subject, specifically concerning transitive and intransitive sentences, through the implementation of a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach integrated with the JIGSAW cooperative learning model. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted across two cycles. Each cycle comprised four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research encompasses planning that integrates CRT and JIGSAW with culture-based methods, media, and evaluation; implementing Indonesian language learning with cultural content and student grouping; observing student interactions and reactions; and reflecting on and analyzing data to measure the effectiveness of the approach in enhancing student understanding of transitive and intransitive sentences. The subjects of the research were 25 fourth-grade students at SDN Karangasem 1 Surakarta in the academic year 2024/2025. The data were analyzed quantitatively. The results demonstrated a significant increase in student understanding. In the first cycle, the percentage of students achieving mastery was only 44%. Following the implementation of actions in the second cycle, the mastery percentage significantly rose to 96%. These findings indicate that the CRT approach combined with the JIGSAW cooperative model is effective in optimizing the understanding of transitive and intransitive sentences among fourth-grade students at SDN Karangasem 1 Surakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to deeply explore the life experiences of pastor's children in Tataaran I Village related to the social stigma they face and how they interpret its impact on their psychological well-being. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, this study delves into the subjective perspectives of six participants through in-depth interviews. The thematic analysis results reveal three main themes: (1) Living in a 'Glass House': Constant Surveillance and Expectations; (2) Navigating Dual Identities: Between 'Ordinary Child' and 'Pastor's Child'; and (3) Stigma as a Burden and Catalyst for Growth. The findings indicate that social stigma creates a significant psychological burden, particularly in aspects of self-acceptance and autonomy. However, these challenges can also become drivers of resilience and personal growth when successfully negotiated.
