Abstract

This research aims to determine the management of the Smart Indonesia Program in junior high schools throughout Sawahlunto City. This type of research is qualitative. The data sources in this research are data on the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) in junior high schools as well as direct field observations. The research informants were 21 (twenty-one) people, consisting of the Head of the Education Department, the Head of the Basic Education Division, the Head of Curriculum and Student Section, the Education Service Operator, the Principal, the School Operator, and the Community. The researcher's main data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and document study. The results of the research conclude that it is not yet optimal. Judging from the results of the research regarding the proposal, determination, distribution, and collection of funds, there are still obstacles when implementing the management of the Smart Indonesia Program in junior high schools. Because there are still many obstacles that occur in the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program, management needs to be improved so that management of the Smart Indonesia Program is more effective and better.

Abstract

This article is a comprehensive analysis that explores the correlation between philosophy and science. The intriguing argument has revolved around the intimate connection between philosophy and science, despite their divergent approaches and objectives. This article aims to explore the role of philosophy in enhancing comprehension and advancement of science. This literature study examines the perspectives of some renowned philosophers on the subject of science. This article explores logical positivism, a philosophical school of thought that places great emphasis on the significance of scientific techniques and empirical verification in acquiring true knowledge. Additionally, the text delves into Popper's falsificationist ideology, highlighting the significance of conducting tests to validate theories and dismissing unverified assertions. This literature study aims to go into a more profound comprehension of the connections and contributions of philosophy to science. By gaining a deeper comprehension of these connections, we can foster more effective cooperation between philosophers and scientists, leading to a more comprehensive and enduring approach to knowledge advancement.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess the digital public services provided at the Santur Village Office, located in the Barangin District of Sawahlunto City. The implementation of electronic-based governance aims to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and interactivity of public services. e-Government essentially refers to the utilization of information technology to enhance communication and interaction between the government and other stakeholders such as residents, entrepreneurs, and other agencies. The provision of Digital-Based Public Services is inherently dependent on the internet network, and the presence of poor internet connections poses a significant hindrance to the smooth execution of these services. The employed research methodology is a descriptive qualitative approach. The group of informants comprised 23 individuals, including the Village Head, Village Secretary, Head of Services, Village Administration Officer, Hamlet Head, and Community members. The data source utilized is original data acquired firsthand from informants. Secondary data is derived from the data collected at the Santur Village Office, located in the Barangin District of Sawahlunto City. The research findings indicate that the Digital-Based Public Services provided by the Santur Village Office in the Barangin District of Sawahlunto City are suboptimal. This is primarily due to the disparity in the IT skills of the Village Apparatus personnel, as well as their limited proficiency in the IT sector. The implementation of online learning is influenced by factors such as the availability of internet connections, restricted ownership of internet-accessible mobile phones among village communities, and the stability of internet signals.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of learning behaviour from failure on subjective well-being through organizational crisis preparedness as a mediating variable. The method used in this study is quantitative, data collection with questionnaires, sampling was carried out by convenience sampling with a sample of 216 people but 200 questionnaires were returned. The data analysis technique used a structural equation model (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS. The results obtained from this study indicate a positive relationship between self-efficacy and subjective wellbeing and have a significant effect. The mediation analysis found that there was no mediation effect through organizational crisis preparedness on self-efficacy with subjective well-being.

Abstract

Management of School/Madrasah Health Program (UKS/M) by Payakumbuh City Government in Realizing Healthy City in 2017. In running a program, a management process is needed to run according to plan. Careful planning can determine the effectiveness of an activity. For the implementation of a Healthy School that is sustainable, smooth, and good, good planning is also needed by the Payakumbuh City Government. Objective: to describe and analyze the Management of the School/Madrasah Health Program (UKS/M) by the Payakumbuh City Government in realizing a Healthy City in 2017. Method: this research is qualitative with a descriptive research type. Results/Findings: Through planning, organizing, directing, and supervision, it shows that the management carried out by the Payakumbuh City Government is running according to plan, but there are still obstacles in its implementation, such as the lack of supervision carried out on the community or canteen traders who sell unhealthy food, and the lack of participation of the community living around the school environment in realizing a clean and healthy environment.

Abstract

This article discusses the leadership communication of the Barulak village head in Tanjung Baru sub-district in managing village government policies in Barulak Village, Tanjung Baru District, Tanah Datar Regency. Communication problems in the leadership of the Barulak Village Head in managing village government policies are very diverse and complex. Some of the problems in Barulak Village Head are as follows: lack of effective communication, unavailability of information, rigid hierarchical communication, social media and technology, limited resources, and irregular communication patterns. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are based on direct observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the analysis of this article are that the leadership communication of the Barulak village head has an important role in building good relationships between leaders and the community, as well as in ensuring better decision-making for the village's progress. Here are some principles and strategies of leadership communication that the village head can apply: transparency, two-way communication, delivery of vision and goals, community involvement, adaptation of communication styles, conflict management, utilization of technology, education and awareness, and consistency.

Abstract

The study aims to determine Administrative Services in the Administration Section of Senior High School 1 Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency, obstacles in services, and Efforts made in Administrative Services in the Administration Section of Senior High School 1 Batusangkar. The type of research used in writing this thesis is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This study describes everything related to administrative services in the administration of Senior High School 1 Batusangkar. The data sources for this study are primary data and secondary data. The study subjects were the principal, head of school administration, teachers, dapodik operators, guardians, and students using the purposive sampling technique, namely determining informants based on certain considerations. The data collection technique for this study uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that services in the administration section of Senior High School 1 Batusangkar have not been implemented properly; the obstacles seen in the administrative service system at Senior High School 1 Batusangkar include inadequate facilities and infrastructure in administrative services and the lack of employees who have an educational background in the field of administrative services. Efforts can be made to overcome these obstacles by preparing all administrative service needs well, including facilities, infrastructure, and staff. This is a special concern so that administrative services at SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar can provide optimal service with satisfactory results for the community and co-workers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the desire of the Padang Panjang City Government in realizing the achievement of the third mission of the city government which reads Improving responsive, innovative, and participatory governance. However, this will not be possible without joint efforts between the city government and the community, so that the government through the Padang Panjang Mayor Regulation Number 45 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Management of Public Complaints Through Guardian Reporting Services in the Padang Panjang City Government, the Lapor Wali program was formed with the hope become a means of government in responding to the needs of conveying the aspirations of the people of Padang Panjang City. In this study, the theory used is strategy theory by Kotten. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. The selection of informants was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study conclude the strategy of the Padang Panjang Inspectorate in dealing with complaints and aspirations of the community through the guardian's report service has been carried out well although there are still some obstacles in handling it such as the inspectorate's communication with the related OPD is still not optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, kendala yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala yang terjadi dalam menjalankan pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif, data dapat dianalisis dengan cara hanya menggambarkan, menguraikan dan menjelaskan tentang permasalahan yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rutan Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dilihat dari beberapa karakter yaitu: komponen sistem, batasan sistem, lingkungan luar, penghubung sistem, masukan sistem, keluaran sistem, pengolahan sistem, dan sasaran sistem. (2) Kendala yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rutan Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan yaitu masalah sarana dan prasarana dan anggaran yang masih kurang, kurangnya kapasitas dan kemampuan petugas dalam melakukan pembinaan, kelebihan kapasitas narapidana dan kurangnya kesadaran narapidana dalam mengikuti pembinaan, kurangnya kerja sama antar instansi dalam menyukseskan pembinaan, pandangan masyarakat yang buruk terhadap narapidana. (3) Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rutan Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan yaitu penambahan sarana prasarana dan mengkaji ulang anggaran pembinaan, mengajukan penambahan petugas dan pelatihan untuk petugas, perlu penambahan gedung baru dan menanamkan kesadaran mengenai pentingnya pembinaan bagi narapidana, perlu memperluas kerja sama dalam menyukseskan pembinaan, memperbaiki mindset masyarakat tentang narapidana. Pihak Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Painan disarankan untuk melengkapi sarana prasarana, mengkaji ulang anggaran pembinaan, menambah jumlah petugas, dan meningkatkan kemampuan petugas dalam menyukseskan pelaksanaan sistem pembinaan narapidana pada Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya pasien BPJS Kesehatan yang mendapatkan perlakuan diskriminasi terkait dengan pemenuhan hak-haknya dalam memperoleh pelayanan publik. Sehingga dibutuhkannya penilaian  kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang telah diberikan kepada pasien BPJS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan BPJS Kesehatan di RSUD M. Zein Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori A.G. Subarsono dengan 3 variabel yang digunakan untuk pengukuran kualitas layanan publik yaitu efisien, responsif, dan non-partisan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan wawancara menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Untuk menganalisis data, peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data, kemudian reduksi data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk memperoleh kevalidan data, peneliti melakukan triangulasi sumber data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan BPJS Kesehatan di RSUD M. Zein Painan dapat dikatakan cukup baik. Terbukti berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari segi efisien, petugas rumah sakit sudah menerapkan kepastian biaya pelayanan dengan tidak adanya biaya tambahan, meskipun masih terdapat kekurangan pada aplikasi e-reservasi yang hanya bisa diakses oleh pasien yang sudah mempunyai nomor rekam medik. Dari segi responsif, pihak rumah sakit sudah menyediakan sumber daya yang profesional. Namun, segi non-partisan, petugas rumah sakit belum mampu memberikan pelayanan yang ramah sehingga pasien tidak nyaman dengan pelayanan yang diberikan.Untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang lebih baik, sebaiknya petugas pelayanan diberikan pelatihan atau kaderasi tentang tata cara pelayanan yang baik kepada pasien.
