Abstract

This article explores communication theory and communication ethics guidelines from a Quranic perspective. The terms qaulan bligha, qaulan Maisyuro qaulan karima, qaulan ma'rufa, qaulan layyinan, and qaulan sadida are some of the unique terms used in the Quran to explain the principles of communication. Thus, the definition of communication in the Quran can serve as a foundation in building good and polite communication practices in social, political, and other fields. The Quranic guidelines regarding good behavior and communication with both parents, especially when one or both of them are elderly, is one example of how this is done. The expression “karim”, which means “noble” in Arabic, is used in this regard in the Quran. The meaning of the hadith and the Quranic instructions indicate that Muslims have an obligation to uphold the virtues of truth and politeness in discourse, which in the Quran is referred to as qaulan sadidan.

Abstract

Accreditation is a strategic effort aimed at enhancing the quality of education at Health Polytechnics (Poltekkes). The accreditation process provides official recognition of the educational standards maintained by the institution, thereby promoting continuous improvement in all academic and non-academic aspects. This study aims to evaluate the impact of accreditation on improving the quality of health education at Poltekkes. The research methodology includes a literature review and secondary data analysis from various relevant sources. The results indicate that accreditation has a positive influence on the quality of education at Poltekkes, particularly in terms of curriculum enhancement, faculty competence, educational facilities, and student satisfaction. There are 76 study programs across 22 Poltekkes, with 36.4% of the programs having excellent accreditation located in Java Island, followed by Poltekkes in Sumatra and Kalimantan. This highlights the need for improving the quality of health education programs in Poltekkes situated in eastern Indonesia (Sulawesi and Papua). The conclusion is that accreditation is an effective tool for improving the quality of health education at Poltekkes, and it needs to be implemented consistently, evenly, and sustainably

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning process using the demonstration method in improving the poetry reading ability of grade IV students in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection method uses the literature method, namely literature research. The data collection technique is carried out, by listing all the variables that need to be researched, namely: learning implementation, demonstration methods, poetry reading skills material. Select the necessary descriptive materials from available sources such as books, articles or biographies that are relevant to the problem being studied. From this study, it can be concluded that the application of the demonstration method in learning Indonesian can improve students' poetry reading skills, with an implementation process consisting of three stages: 1) demonstration method learning strategy, 2) implementation of learning with demonstration method, 3) evaluation of the learning process and learning outcomes using the demonstration method.

Abstract

This study specifically addresses the problem of suboptimal academic performance in the field of fikih among students. This can be discerned by the absence of motivation and enthusiasm among kids, as well as their passive participation in the learning process. This problem required resolution by the implementation of pertinent research. The aim of this study is to evaluate the learning motivation and academic achievements of fifth-grade students in the fikih subject at MIT Raudlatul Ulum Depok. The study employs a correlative quantitative methodology by utilising a random sample procedure. Based on the research and survey results, the learning motivation of fifth-grade students in the subject of fikih at MIT Raudlatul Ulum Depok is deemed adequate. The motivation to study evaluation score instrument is 87.46, which falls into the good range area. The student learning outcomes in this research exclusively target the cognitive domain, with a specific emphasis on acquiring information and comprehension that are customised to the student's developmental stage. Statistical data analysis can be employed to assess the influence of student learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Class V students in the field of jurisprudence. Based on the results of product moment correlation calculations. The correlation coefficient between learning motivation and student learning results in fikih topics is 0.738, indicating a robust correlation. The score exceeds 0.05, indicating a substantial link between learning desire and student learning outcomes in the field of fikih.

Abstract

This research is driven by the bad impact of the digital world on the learning process, which spontaneously affects students' attitudes and behaviors. One of these impacts is students' social attitudes. The study examines the crucial role of teachers in the Aqidah Akhlak subject in instilling moral values in sixth-grade students at MI Darul Falah 2 Cilodong, Depok. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation of activities, which were then assessed descriptively. The outcomes of the teaching methods utilized by the teachers can be drawn in the changes in students' attitudes and the way teachers teach Aqidah Akhlak. These changes are evident from students' discipline towards school rules, the habituation practices applied in the classroom, and the exemplary actions of the teachers as models for students to follow. The study concludes that teachers' understanding of their crucial role through workshops, training, and seminars on moral education strategies is effective in promoting the utilize of innovative teaching methods such as interactive lectures, role-playing, and extracurricular activities to instill positive character traits. Collaboration between schools, parents, and the community is also deemed essential for effectively monitoring and supporting students' moral development. Continuous evaluation of moral education efforts involving students, parents, and school authorities is crucial for enhancing the quality of moral education in the future. Overall, this research aims to foster a generation with strong character and noble behavior through the dedicated efforts of teachers in the Aqidah Akhlak subject.

Abstract

This research examines the concept of moral education in the Al-Quran and its relevance in the context of modern education. Using the literature study method, this research analyzes verses of the Al-Quran and related commentaries to explore the fundamental principles of moral education. The research results show that the Al-Quran presents a comprehensive concept of morals, including spiritual, moral and social dimensions. The main principles of moral education identified include example (uswatun hasanah), habituation (ta'widiyah), advice (mau'izhah), and attention (mulahazha). Verses related to moral education are classified into three categories: morals towards Allah, fellow humans, and the environment. Implementing the concept of Al-Quran moral education in a modern context requires an adaptive and contextual approach, including the family environment, educational institutions and society. This research concludes that the integration of Qur'anic moral values ​​into the education system can be an effective solution in facing moral challenges in the era of globalization and digitalization.

Abstract

Curriculum as an educational design has a very strategic position in all aspects of educational activities. Given the importance of curriculum development in education, preparation should refer to a strong and strong foundation. The foundation of curriculum development is not only needed by the compiler of the curriculum (macro) or written curriculum which is often referred to as the ideal curriculum, but must also be understood and used as a basis for consideration by the (micro) curriculum implementers, namely education supervisors and teachers and other parties related to the task of education management, as material that will be used as an instrument in coaching the implementation of the curriculum in each type and education level. With this important position, curriculum development cannot be carried out arbitrarily, but must be based on various considerations, or foundations so that it can be used as a foothold in organizing the educational process, thereby facilitating the achievement of educational and learning goals more efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Madrasahs as educational institutions play a very important role in the character building of students. Madrasahs are responsible for the moral education of students and more so than other educational institutions. Madrasah is a place to provide moral and moral education, not just a place to learn science. The purpose of the research conducted was to reveal the Role of Madrasahs in Shaping the Character of Grade IV Students to Face the Digital Age at MI Al Mu'awanah Cibinong Bogor. The method used in this research is qualitative research and data collection is done by means of observation, interviews, documentation While data collection is done by collecting primary and secondary data in the field. The results showed that 1) Madrasah already has a vision to create a generation that is intellectually intelligent, and also noble and adaptive to technological developments and a mission to improve the ability to use information and communication technology (ICT) to support the learning process of teachers and students in schools. 2) Madrasah shape students' character by teaching digital literacy to students so that they can navigate the digital world intelligently and critically, and avoid negative content 3) Madrasah shape students' character by explaining to students about the negative impact of gadget addiction and directing students to make a schedule for gadget use and interesting alternative activities such as sports, arts, or traditional games and extracurricular programs.

Abstract

The development of digital technology at this time plays a very important role for a product sales promotion, there are many things that need to be considered in a content marketing in a company, one of which is in the hospitality industry. Grand Hotel Preanger is a 5-star hotel located in the center of Bandung which has heritage characteristics and strongly maintains its authenticity. The purpose of this study is to determine how promotional strategies in increasing product sales through content marketing at Grand Hotel Preanger. In this study the authors used a qualitative descriptive research method with a case study approach and used SWOT analysis, namely calculating and deepening the EFAS and IFAS matrices. Data collection in this study used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. From the research results, it is found that the position of the product sales promotion strategy through content marketing at Grand Hotel Preanger is in quadrant I position, which means that it is very profitable for a company by utilizing strengths as opportunities for increasing the number of products produced, namely maintaining the brand image to customers and the characteristics of a heritage hotel by utilizing its beauty and strategic opportunities in the middle of downtown Bandung.

Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the role of electronic word of mouth (e-WoM) on the decision to visit tourists to tourist destinations. In this digital era, communication to obtain information can be done online through electronic word of mouth. This communication is one of the important factors in influencing tourists' decisions to visit a destination. This study used a quantitative method with a survey approach and involved 100 respondents who had visited the Jatigede area. Data collected through distributing questionnaires online were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis to test the relationship between electronic word of mouth variables and visiting decisions. The analysis results show that electronic word of mouth is significant and its role is quite strong in influencing visiting decisions. Information in the form of reviews, and recommendations through social media platforms has proven to be able to increase tourist trust and attract tourists to visit tourist destinations. In addition, the credibility of the source, the number of positive reviews, and the completeness of the information can influence tourists' decisions to visit.  The dimensions of electronic word of mouth play a role, namely the dimension of concern for other consumers, the dimension of helping companies, the intensity dimension, the content dimension, and the opinion valance dimension. Thus, stakeholders in the tourism industry need to pay attention to marketing strategies through online review management to increase the number of tourist visits to destinations.
