Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in uncovering and developing an individual's Education plays a very significant role in uncovering and developing an individual's potential, creating people who are not only intellectually smart but also morally upright. However, the current state of education faces serious challenges related to morals and ethics, both from educators and learners. This research aims to explore the characteristics of educators and the values of character in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis methods to identify the characteristics of educators and the character values contained in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah. The research findings indicate that the characteristics of educators in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah include sincerity, piety, justice, gentleness and compassion, patience, knowledge, honesty, humility, self-evaluation, being a role model, and consistency. The character values emphasized in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah are being religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, hard-working, creative, independent, democratic, curious, having a national spirit and love for the country, appreciating achievements, being friendly and communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, environmentally aware, socially aware, and responsible. The characteristics of educators as described in Bait Matan Syatibiyyah have strong relevance to the instillation of character values in students.

Abstract

The article examines Islamic characteristics of environmental governance with a focus on the granting of mining and mineral business licences (IUPs) to religious organisations. This case study was conducted to understand how Islamic principles can be applied in sustainable and responsible environmental governance practices. The article used a qualitative approach with a case study method involving document analysis and participatory observation. The results showed that Islamic principles, such as tawhid (the oneness of God), Khilafah (human leadership on earth), and Kaslahah (public interest), play an important role in decision-making regarding the granting of IUPs. In addition, this study found that the application of Islamic values in environmental governance can improve compliance with environmental regulations and strengthen commitment to nature conservation. These findings make an important contribution to the development of policies that integrate religious values in environmental governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Rasulullah SAW was sent at a time when pre-Islamic Arab society (jahiliyah) was in a very worrying condition, with various forms of moral, social and political damage. Rasulullah SAW came to bring Islamic teachings which changed the entire structure of social life, eliminated injustice, and upheld justice and equality in society. This article will comprehensively review the concept of leadership in Islam, as well as provide information on the leadership role of the Prophet Muhammad. The research conducted was qualitative research. The data collection technique uses the library research method, namely by observing various literature related to the problems in the research, in the form of papers, books, notes and reports of previous research results. The results of this research are that in his leadership, the Prophet Muhammad demonstrated various principles and methods that are very relevant and applicable today. He practices an inclusive leadership style, filled with wisdom, justice and compassion. As a leader, he not only managed worldly affairs but also instilled deep spiritual values ​​in his followers. This makes his leadership a model that is worth studying and implementing in various modern leadership contexts

Abstract

Improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) among students is a primary goal of education. Teachers play a crucial role in achieving this objective. Effective teacher management strategies can help enhance students' HR quality. This study aims to analyze teacher management strategies in improving students' HR quality at Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School. Conducted using qualitative methods, the research utilized interview, observation, and documentation techniques for data collection. Findings revealed that the teacher management strategies at Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School encompass enhancing teacher competencies, professionalism, motivation, well-being, as well as learning facilities and infrastructure. These strategies have proven effective in enhancing students' HR quality, including improved academic and non-academic performance and character development. The research suggests recommendations such as integrating teacher competencies, reinforcing professionalism, boosting teacher motivation and well-being, improving learning facilities, employing innovative teaching methods, and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the role of teachers in the development of Islamic religious education. The method used is a qualitative methodology with data collected through the library research method. The data in this research is based on facts, reality in the field and not designed by researchers through research research. This research aims to evaluate the role of teachers in developing the PAI curriculum, with an emphasis on this theme. This is crucial so that teachers can realize how significant their role is in the curriculum development process, especially amidst the dynamics of rapid change in science and technology. The results of the research can be concluded that the role of the teacher is very large because the success of teaching depends on the teacher's ability and competence in implementing the curriculum effectively. Teachers play a role in developing a curriculum that is managed centrally, decentralized and centrally. Teacher roles include implementer, adapter, developer, and researcher.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the elements that determine leadership behavior, basic concepts of leadership, and the requirements for leader competence in the context of Islamic education. Effective leadership in Islamic educational institutions has an important role in achieving strategic goals and building a conducive educational environment. The elements that determine leadership behavior include personal characteristics, leadership styles, and interacting environmental influences. This research also explores various basic concepts of leadership from traditional to modern perspectives, complemented by Islamic values such as justice, honesty, and example. In addition, the study identifies the competency requirements of Islamic education leaders, including academic ability, managerial skills, as well as moral and spiritual qualities needed to effectively manage educational institutions. Through a qualitative approach, this research collects data from various relevant literature and case studies. The results showed that successful leadership in Islamic education is not only based on managerial skills, but also on moral integrity and commitment to Islamic values. This research is expected to provide insight for academics, practitioners, and policy makers in developing leadership models that are effective and in accordance with Islamic principles, as well as support the improvement of the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to explore Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning models that can improve students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor intelligence. The background of the research underscores the importance of various elements in education, such as teachers, students, curriculum, environment, and chosen learning model. The learning model, as a teaching plan, must be adapted to the needs of students and be able to cover theoretical and practical aspects. Success in learning depends heavily on the selection of the right model, which influences five key aspects of effective learning: clarity, variety, task orientation, student engagement, and achieving high success. This study formulates several main problems, including the types of PAI learning models, aspects that affect students' intelligence, and models that can improve cognitive, affective, and psychomotor intelligence. The focus is also given on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach and life skills. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the development of effective learning strategies for Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Affective aspects are one of the three aspects that are very Important in learning.Affective aspects are aspects or element of attitudes that have been formed and embedded in a learner.this attitude cannot be separated from value.Every attitude and action,will definitely be valuable. there must be a structured and suitable strategy for affective purposes..This educational institution applies affective learning  strategies to support the interest and motivation of learning of its students.Where by applying affective learning  strategies it goes straight in accordance with the vision and mission of the school,namely “Creating students who have intelligence based on religion and morality.This research method uses a qualitative case study method using interview,observation and documentation data collection techniques using a qualitative approach.Based on the result of the existence of affective strategies makes the nature and attitude of participants.

Abstract

Since the end of 2019, the world has been hit by the Corona Virus Disease 19 pandemic or commonly known as Covid-19. Following up on the government policy above, the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia ordered that learning during the Covid-19 emergency be carried out boldly (online) or by conducting distance learning. Parents have quite a big influence on children's learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic, where all learning is carried out boldly from home.Bold learning increases the intensity of meetings between children and parents, so that almost 24 hours the child will meet, be cared for and receive education from their parents. The type of parenting style applied will also influence the condition of the child and his environment when learning takes place.The aim of this research is to determine the type of parenting style applied by parents, children's learning outcomes during the pandemic and the relationship between parental parenting patterns and the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years during dare learning. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consists of 69 children aged 5-6 years at AL Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City. The sample in this study was all children selected as samples.The results of this research show that the correlation coefficient is 0.276, a finding that can be concluded that there is a relationship between parental parenting variables and children's overall learning outcome variables. In other words, the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years at Al Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City, do not have much influence on parents' parenting patterns. Furthermore, there is a significant result (sig) of 0.022 between the parenting pattern variable and the child's overall learning outcome variable. This shows that there is a significant relationship between parenting styles and the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years at Al Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City. Of the 69 parents of children aged 5-6 years, 14 people (around 20%) used an authoritarian parenting style, 42 people (around 61%) used a supportive parenting pattern, 12 people (around 17%) used a permissive parenting pattern, and 1 person (around 1%) use an unvolved parenting pattern (don't care). Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that during the courageous learning period at Al Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City, the learning outcomes of children aged 5-6 years were significantly correlated with parental parenting patterns which were overall authoritarian, supportive, permissive and univolved (not involved).

Abstract

The Five Basic Principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School is the main motto used by the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School in implementing the character of its students. These five characters are a summary of the seventh supervisor of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School (KH. Salahuddin Wahid) which he took from one of the books written by Hadratus Shaykh KH. Muhammad Hasyim Asy;ari, namely in the book "Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'alim". The five characters are 1) Sincerity, 2) Honesty, 3) Responsibility, 4) Hard work, 5) Tolerance. The focus of this research is: 1) the concept of the five basic principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, 2) the application of the five basic principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School to the character formation of students, 3) supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the five basic principles of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School. In this research, the author uses a qualitative type of research with a case study research approach. Data was collected using three techniques, namely: 1). Interview. 2). Observation, 3). Documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use several things including: extending participation and triangulation.The results of this research are: 1). The application of the Five Basic Principles of Tebuireng is one of the strategies used in education to shape the character of students. The administrators and supervisors carry out their duties in accordance with the main tasks and functions that have been determined by the Islamic boarding school, providing understanding and evaluation to the students is the main factor in success in forming the character of the students, 2). The application of the Five Basic Principles of Tebuireng in forming the character of the students is based on the room supervisor system, then strengthened by the boarding school administrators and supported by bandongan studies by the caregivers using the book "Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'alim", 3). Supporting factors in the implementation of the Five Basic Principles of Tebuireng are the role of Islamic boarding school caregivers who review and explain in detail the source books of the founder of Tebuireng Islamic boarding school, as well as the system of guiding one person in each room. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the existence of several supervisors who have different ideas in implementing the room program and the lack of maximum performance by several supervisors in carrying out the main duties and functions of the Islamic boarding school
