Abstract

The waiting time for prescription services at dr. M. Suherman Clinic, a primary healthcare clinic with pharmacy services, did not meet the standard. It was about 15 minutes for the maximum waiting time for non-concoction prescriptions and 30 minutes for concoction medicines. A pre-liminary study of 100 patient visits in a day revealed that 15 non-concoction prescriptions and 20 concoction prescriptions exceeded the waiting times standard. It explicated the inefficiency in pharmacy services. The purpose of this research was to make the waiting time for pharmacies became more efficient. This research used lean healthcare method by using fishbone and 5M management elements. The data were collected by interviews, observation, and brainstorming. This study found that waiting time for pharmacy services approximately 36 minutes, with the Non-Value-Added ratio 56,7 %. It is concluded that the condition of pharmacy services had been inefficient. The units which contributed most waste were polyclinics and pharmacies. This research will produce a definite solution using the brainstorming method. The clinics need to standardize the deadline for doctors to input prescriptions, update the medical drug formulary, add new computers and drug blenders, add the number of staffs as human resources, and rearrange the clinic rooms.

This research aims to identify demographic attributes (age, sex, income, and education), tobacco knowledge and spending and their impacts on smoking cessation intention and attempts in Kalidawir, Tulungagung Districts. A survey of 111 adult smokers is conducted using the GATS questionnaire. The data is analyzed using binary logistic regression. Most respondents, as many as 70 (63.1%), expressed a desire to quit smoking. Meanwhile, 41 respondents (36.9%) had no intention to quit smoking. Unfortunately, less than half, which is 43 (38.7%), had ever tried to quit smoking and more than half of the respondents, as many as 68 (61.3%), stated that they had never tried to quit smoking. Level of education and tobacco spending has a significant impact on intention to quit smoking (p-value 0,018 and p-value 0,024). While age, income, sex and knowledge do not affect the intention to quit smoking (p-value 0,954; p-value 0,145; p-value 0,975; and p-value 0,639). Education income and tobacco spending significantly impact the attempt to quit smoking (p-value 0,001; p-value 0,001 and p-value 0,008). While age, sex and knowledge do not affect the attempt to quit smoking (p-value 0,359; p-value 0,477; and p-value 0,993). Level of education and tobacco spending have significant impacts on intention and attempt to quit smoking while income only has an impact on smoking cessation attempts. The tobacco control program should consider these factors and make more comprehensive interventions.

Abstract

This research seeks to develop a web service system that functions as a medical resume provision via RESTful API. Accurate and comprehensive medical records are critical in the identification and diagnosis of patients. Medical resumes, which summarize a patient's healthcare services and are completed by the responsible doctor, are an essential component of medical records. Electronic medical record systems can aid in patient care, and a patient's prior health history is crucial in developing a holistic and continuous treatment plan. Unfortunately, patients often require a fresh medical examination due to a lack of past health data. The proposed system can interconnect with other electronic medical record systems and facilitate the exchange of medical resume data between hospitals. This research employs the waterfall development system. The resultant system provides patient medical resumes from participating hospitals, offering a solution to the problem of inconsistent patient information and clinical data, and improves service quality and diagnosis accuracy based on available data.

Abstract

The nutrition Care Process (NCP) is a systematic approach or standard to provide comprehensive nutritional care for patients or clients. NCP consists of 4 interrelated steps, namely nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention, nutrition monitoring and nutrition evaluation. Implementation of NCP in many health services facilities face some barriers because of using manual NCP, such as human error, time-consuming, and incomplete documentation. Digitalization of NCP has proven to be beneficial in terms of efficiency of time and provision of electronic data to improve patient services. This study aimed to develop Hospimeal as a website-based Nutrition Care Process (NCP). The development of the web-based NCP application carried out in this study used the waterfall method. The stages of the waterfall method are need analysis, study of literature and data retrieval, system requirements, system planning, system implementation and testing, digitalization of NCP management in website. Digitalization of Standardized Nutrition Care Process (NCP) management can be developed in the form of a website called Hospimeal. This website provides nutritional care to patients/clients starting from nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention, nutrition monitoring, and nutrition evaluation. The Hospimeal website can be operated by the relevant nutritionist/dietitian. At the beginning of the display there is a Login menu which can be used by nutrition-ists/dietitians to enter the website
