Abstract

The research that has been conducted is entitled "The Relationship Between Principal Transformational Leadership and Increasing Teacher Work Motivation in the Modern Education Era at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan" which is based on the fact that Principal Transformational Leadership is a leadership model that allows a leader to change the energy of resources, both human, instrument, and situation, to achieve targeted goals. In the context of education, Principal Transformational Leadership is very important to improve the quality of education and increase teacher job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant relationship between variables X and Y. The methodology of this study uses a quantitative approach with the type of field research. The population of this study were teachers at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan with a sample size of 40 teachers. The sampling technique was carried out by simple random sampling. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data management tools by conducting several tests such as validity and reliability tests, normality and homogeneity tests, linearity tests and simple linear regression tests. And for the results of the hypothesis test using the Pearson correlation test method and the paired sample T-Test test. The results of the study revealed that the results of the Pearson correlation test analysis showed that there was a significant influence between the relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and the work motivation of teachers in the modern education era at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan, which was 0.018< 0.05. This shows that variables X and Y are correlated. Then the degree of relationship between variables X and Y of 0.374 shows that the Pearson correlation value of 0.21 to 0.40 between variables X and Y is a weak correlation. And in the second test, namely the paired sample T-Test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between variables X and Y.

Abstract

It should be realized that the reality of the 21st century phenomenon in terms of the development of science and technology is absolutely necessary to be able to compete in the global world. In the development of technology and the development of human resources, Islamic propagation institutions are very important to be carried out in improving the abilities and skills of members of Islamic propagation institutions. In increasing the efficiency and productivity of Islamic propagation, the role of the government is very important in providing financial support and policies that facilitate the development of Islamic propagation technology. The method in this study uses a literature study with research results showing that the development of reliable and skilled human resources in technology is also very necessary to improve practical skills and overcome the challenge of the lack of skilled human resources in technology. Well-planned human resource development will produce quality output, so that it can increase work productivity and can prepare employees who are effective and efficient in carrying out their work.

Abstract

The research that has been done is entitled "Analysis of the Role of Librarianship to Improve Library Services at Pondok Pesantren Al-Yusriyah Sei Meran Pangkalan Susu Langkat Regency", which is motivated by the background that the Library is useful for improving the quality of education in schools, with the aim of supporting the general education curriculum and developing interest in reading. To achieve the goal of quality service, the library is required to meet the needs of its librarians. Not only the fulfillment of information sources, but it is also necessary to pay attention to physical facilities, service quality, and technology that can help the service process so as to achieve user satisfaction. A descriptive qualitative research method was used to conduct this research, providing a more thorough explanation of the research topic. Three data collection methods were used: documentation, interviews, and observation. Interviews in the form of guidelines with several questions were used as study aids. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions were used in data analysis techniques, triangulation, including triangulation of sources and theories. The results of the study revealed that (1) The role of librarians at AlYusriyah Islamic Boarding School in improving the quality of library services is very good, it's just that it is necessary to compile a more detailed budget plan and submit it to the school or government, (2) Develop and implement appropriate strategies to attract students and increase visits to the library, (3) and face various significant obstacles, such as limited funds, lack of funds has an impact on inadequate facilities and infrastructure, such as narrow library space and lack of reading facilities. Based on the research findings above, improving the quality of library services is worth applying and implementing as a solution to improve the quality of a more disciplined library to create a quality educational environment.

Abstract

This study is set against the background of the co-19 pandemic which affects many sectors of human life, one of which is the field of education. This pandemic also encourages innovation in the field of education in making updates or changes to the curriculum. In the curriculum changes used now are known as the independent learning curriculum. This study aims to identify and obtain information about the planning, implementation and effectiveness of the implementation of the independent curriculum at MAN 1 Medan. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, namely research that provides a description of factual and systematic situations and events regarding factors, as well as the relationship between phenomena. The research instruments are observation, interview and observation. The data source of this research is the results of interviews from the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa for curriculum and teacher. The results of the study reveal that the implementation of the independent curriculum at MAN 1 Medan has been well implemented. This can be seen from the careful preparation and collaboration between various parties, including the head of the madrasa, deputy head of the madrasa from each field, teachers and other teaching staff. The involvement of all parties greatly affects the effectiveness of curriculum implementation in achieving goals effectively.

Abstract

In the era of advancing information and communication technology, using the internet has become very easy. This is due to the need for access to information, lifestyle, communication, entertainment, and knowledge available on various social media platforms. Social media plays a role in shaping a person's identity, and high social media use among students can impact their mental health. This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of social media use and the mental health of PAI students at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The subjects in this study were 87 PAI students. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Product Moment Correlation test. The results showed a significant negative relationship between the intensity of social media use and the mental health of PAI students. The correlation coefficient was r = 0.220 with a significance level of p = 0.041 (< 0.05). This means that the higher the students' intensity of social media use, the lower their mental health. Conversely, the lower the intensity of social media use, the better their mental health.

Abstract

Coffee is a drink that has deep meaning in the Islamic world, covering spiritual, health and social aspects. This study method uses a literature approach by collecting and analyzing the latest research regarding the role of coffee in the context of the sunnah, health benefits and social traditions among Muslims. The study results show that coffee is not only considered a halal drink and beneficial for health, but also as a symbol of brotherhood and strong cultural identity, strengthening social relations in various Muslim communities around the world.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing entrepreneurial skills of students, about how to plan the development of entrepreneurial skills of students of PAB 10 Medan Estate Private Junior High School, to find out how to implement the development of entrepreneurial skills of students of PAB 10 Medan Estate Private Junior High School, and to find out about the effectiveness of entrepreneurship skill development of PAB 10 Medan Estate Private Junior High School students. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach to obtain data on the planning, implementation and effectiveness of entrepreneurial skill development. The subjects in this study are school principals, teachers and several students at PAB 10 Medan Estate Private Junior High School, with data collection techniques obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation with data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings of this study show that PAB 10 Medan Estate Private Junior High School in the planning process for developing students' entrepreneurial skills has been carried out well in terms of determining goals and objectives, analyzing previous activities and planning to the preparation of plans for the development of students' entrepreneurial skills. In the implementation of entrepreneurial skill development, all daily activities carried out by students and in all subjects are applied, because the implementation is not only focused on the realm of entrepreneurship, but more on the cultivation of entrepreneurial values. In the evaluation process, it is carried out routinely by the school, both in supervision inside the school and outside the school.

Abstract

The purpose of Indonesian national education is to educate the nation. Adolescence is a time of crisis where teenagers try to find their identity. Today, the world of education is being hit by very deep concern with the frequent occurrence of juvenile delinquency or what is known as juvenile delinquency which has quite serious impacts on the development of themselves (teenagers) and society. Because delinquency is an anti-social act, violating applicable laws, which is carried out by a person approaching adulthood with his own knowledge which if carried out by an adult is qualified as a crime. News about delinquency is sprayed like bullets on the battlefield and unfortunately the ones who are always hit by insults are the schools, in fact, it is not uncommon for the public to assume that the low quality of student behavior or personality is due to the school's inability to control the psyche of its students. In this case, we learn about what types of delinquency are carried out by teenagers, the factors that influence teenagers to commit delinquency and how schools try to overcome this delinquency. The purpose of this study was to determine the forms of juvenile delinquency, factors that influence juvenile delinquency and school efforts in overcoming juvenile delinquency. To obtain accurate data, the author uses qualitative descriptive research, namely by using the method of describing and analyzing research results without using calculation formulas, while in obtaining data the author uses direct observation, interviews with informants, and documentation. From the data obtained, it explains that the real state of juvenile delinquency (students) is still relatively common and not dangerous such as playing truant, coming late to school, not doing homework, making noise and so on. Factors that influence juvenile delinquency are often caused by lack of parental attention (broken home), the influence of playmates and from themselves because they are lazy and afraid of teachers. Then regarding the data obtained as an effort by the school to overcome juvenile delinquency (students), including cooperation with parents and the community and providing educational punishment. In addition, it also creates a commitment to all teachers to always remind every student who commits any form of violation. As a suggestion that must be done in overcoming juvenile delinquency is that parents, schools and the community should create a conducive environment, provide services and motivate teenagers to always fill their free time with positive activities. Establish interactions between students and teachers as harmoniously as possible. There needs to be self-introspection of the Teaching and Learning Activities carried out by teachers and students (teenagers). Parents are expected to pay attention to their children's daily activities and try to direct them to activities that bring benefits.

Abstract

Educational administration is the entire process of working together by utilizing all available and needed resources to achieve educational goals that have been set effectively and efficiently. Educational administration is basically administration in processing, organizing and allocating the resources contained in the world of education. Facilities are all the facilities needed in the teaching and learning process, both moving and immovable, so that educational goals can be achieved and run smoothly, regularly, effectively and efficiently. Meanwhile, the definition of infrastructure is facilities that indirectly support the course of the educational process, such as; yard, garden or school garden, road to school, school rules, and so on. Administration of educational facilities and infrastructure is something that really supports the achievement of the goals of education, as education personnel we are required to master and understand the administration of facilities and infrastructure, to increase effective and efficient work power and be able to respect the work ethics of fellow educational personnel, so that harmony and comfort will be created which can create pride and a sense of belonging from both the school community and the surrounding community.

Abstract

The application of Islamic principles in conflict management in educational institutions is very important to create a harmonious and productive environment. Conflicts that arise in educational institutions can be caused by various factors, both between students, teachers and between management. In Islam, there are several principles that can be applied to manage conflict in a fair and wise manner, including tabayun, deliberation, tahkim, and islah. Tabayun focuses on clarifying information so that conflict does not develop due to misunderstandings. Deliberation encourages collective decision making to reach solutions that benefit all parties. Tahkim involves a neutral third party to help resolve the conflict, ensuring justice for all parties involved. Meanwhile, islah emphasizes peace and reconciliation, with the aim of ending conflicts peacefully and restoring damaged relations. The application of these principles can increase understanding and skills in managing conflict, both among students, teachers and administrators of educational institutions. Thus, Islamic-based conflict management not only solves problems, but also creates a more just, peaceful environment and supports optimal student development.
