Abstract

The increase in profitability in most companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange occurred from 2017 to 2019. Consumer Non-cyclical sector companies began to show an increase in profitability from 2021 to 2022. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of Tax Avoidance on Profitability with Corporate Governance as moderator. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method carried out on non-cyclical consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 period. A total of 38 companies as samples in this research observed financial report data for 3 years, namely from 2020 to 2022 using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) analysis model. The research results show that tax avoidance has no effect on profitability, corporate governance has a positive and significant effect on profitability, and corporate governance is unable to strengthen the effect of tax avoidance on profitability.

Abstract

Determinant performance innovation can varies depending on context organization or industry certain. Many factors decider performance involving innovation combination internal and external aspects. Companies or organizations that succeed at innovation can often combine some or all of these factors to create an environment that supports the development and implementation of new ideas. This research aims to conduct a literature review study of company innovation performance. This research uses the literature study method to determine the measurement of company innovation performance of 56 articles related to innovation performance and its determining factors. The research was carried out by comprehensively identifying and conceptualizing the determinant framework for innovation performance in terms of (1) Innovativeness and attributes; (2) The impact of Ambidextrous Leadership On innovation performance; (3) Impact of knowledge management strategy on innovation performance; (4) The impact of creative self-efficacy on innovation performance; and (5) Conceptualization of determinants and their impact on innovation performance. The research results found that a company's ability to dynamically manage its resources is the main key to improving company performance. Thus, companies must have effective strategies in managing their resources and facing changes in the business environment to remain competitive.

Abstract

Family visits are urgently needed at this time because violence in the family is rife and has even increased from time to time. Victims of violence are generally women and children. The cause of violence in the family is due to a shift in understanding regarding the image of God that exists in humans to become a "means" that can be used to satisfy personal interests. Human dignity that belongs to God can be taken away by anyone and in any way. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the urgency of family visits as an implementation of maintaining human dignity in social life. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach with literature review methods from various sources, namely journals, Scriptures, books, and Church teachings. This paper uses text analysis according to the context experienced in a sociological perspective. The results found, family visits have three values that can be implemented to maintain human dignity, namely: first, building brotherhood as social beings in society. Second, listen to each other; and third protect each other against evil. Family visits are very important and needed by society at this time, because families need to be greeted, listened to, and protect each other from crime. This effort is made so that human dignity is maintained as the image of God. Advice for Christian families; carrying out family visits at this time is very important as an implementation of maintaining human dignity which has begun to shift due to scientific and technological developments in society.

Abstract

Students' emotional disorders are still a source of problems in the world of education.  This emotional disorder will influence their future and their adolescence itself. The other researcher has been done some therapy, but it doesn’t work enough to pretend the teenager’s emotional disorder. This research aims to offer a solution to the problem of emotional disorders, especially depression, anxiety, and panic disorders. The solution in question is an emotional therapy called The Heart Technique, which is part of hypnotherapy. The method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. The subjects of this research were Class XI SOS students at RK Serdang Murni Lubuk Pakam Private High School. SOS 1 class is the experimental class and SOS 2 class is the control class. Data processing was carried out using Excel and SPSS applications. The results of data processing show that the heart technique therapy is effective in reducing students' emotional disorders.

Abstract

The layered financial burden in one's life usually becomes a chain that is difficult to break. The decision to be able to release the chain to the next generation is by how an individual must start thinking about being able to survive in retirement without having to provide financial burdens to their descendants. One option for the generation experiencing the financial burden is to invest early. The decision to invest must be based on experience and knowledge of good and adequate finance to minimize the risks that can occur. By minimizing the risks that may occur, it is hoped that it will increase awareness in individuals to be able to have better financial planning in the future. This study aims to examine how financial experience affects investment decisions through financial knowledge. The type of research used is explanatory research with a sample of 200 respondents who are individuals who have a double financial burden or sandwich generation and live in Bandung City. The results of the path analysis show that financial experience affects investment decisions through financial knowledge. Knowledge and information about the importance of financial management from an early age so that individuals who experience a double burden can break the chain as a sandwich generation is an implication in this study.

Abstract

Profitability is a crucial factor that requires special attention. This is due to the need for a company to remain profitable in order to maintain its survival. This research aims to determine the influence of Corporate Governance and Company Size on Profitability with Corporate Social Responsibility as A Moderating Variable. This research method is a quantitative research method in the period 2018 to 2022 there are 15 companies listed on the IDX which are used as population. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with the criteria that the company publishes annual reports every year and the company is listed on the IDX from 2018 to 2022. After selecting the sample, the population of 15 companies obtained the company data used, namely 14 companies and 70 data which will be processed with panel data regression with statistical software. The research results show that the audit committee, independent commissioner and company size have a positive and significant effect on company profitability, CSR is able to positively moderate the influence of independent commissioners on company profitability. and CSR is unable to moderate the influence of the audit committee and company size on company profitability.

Abstract

The development of the times is so fast that it affects various things including student character. The importance of integrated character education in various lessons is no exception in the Lontar Transcript course in the Balinese Language Education Study Program. The integration of character education provides strengthening for students who will later become teachers so that they can provide strong character education values for their students. This study aims to analyze the character education values integrated in the lontar transcription of STKIP Hinduism Amlapura students. This research is a qualitative research, with the locus of research at STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura. The type of data uses qualitative and quantitative data, while the data source uses primary and secondary data sources. Data collection methods use participatory observation methods and questionnaires. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students of STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura internalize 17 character education values in the process of creativity of lontar transcripts, namely hard work, independence, religion, curiosity, responsibility, discipline, creativity, love for the country, honesty, love to read, respect for achievement, tolerance, democratic, peace-loving, communicative, environmental care, and social care. The process of internalizing character education values in STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura students' lontar transcripts, including receiving, responding, selecting, internalizing, and applying values.

Abstract

The prevalence of anemia in Indonesian teenagers is still high, namely 32%, or more than 6,000 Indonesian teenagers suffered from anemia. Long-term anemia has an impact during pregnancy, thus affecting the health of the mother and baby. The population of the Anak Dalam Tribe in Jambi Province is 200 thousand people who still live in the forests and around the TNBD forests at risk of experiencing malnutrition, including their teenage daughters, due to socio-economic status factors, limited access to health services, food security, family empowerment, and low levels of knowledge and education. . The research analyzed the effect of local food-based balanced nutrition interventions on Orang Rimbo adolescent girls. Quasi Experimental Design, totaling 70 people. The research results showed that there was significan relationship between dominan food sources consumed (p-value = 0.000) and the type of local food consumed (p-value = 0.007) with balanced nutrition (BMI), as well as the influence of interventions carried out in food processing among young women of the Orang Rimbo people in TNBD (p-value = 0.000). It was concluded that there was an influence of interventions carried out in food processing on young women of the Orang Rimbo people in Bukit Duabelas National Park.

Abstract

Communication involves verbal and non-verbal forms of expression, such as gestures. However, misunderstandings can arise when people from different cultures communicate. This research aims to examine the use of body movements by Japanese and Balinese people, exploring their similarities and differences. This research involves descriptive-qualitative analysis, data collection through observation, interviews, and recording. The method used for selecting these samples was purposive sampling. Findings suggest that both cultures have similar understandings of gestures due to their emphasis on social etiquette. Additionally, both cultures incorporate elements of taboo, honor, and status in their gestures. However, Balinese body language is influenced by the cultural concept of Rwa Bineda, while Japanese body language is more influenced by inyo.

Abstract

Financial management skills are very important in life, so these skills must be trained from an early age so that when they grow up they become wise people who use money responsibly. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the ability of elementary school students to manage their money creatively and responsibly. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection by survey by giving instruments in the form of questionnaires 12 questions for individuals and 1 question for groups. The research sample as the source is 80 public and private elementary school students in Malang city. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman with data collection steps, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Based on the results of the survey of the ability to manage finances in the aspect of utilizing pocket money for saving and entrepreneurship individually with group financial management obtained, it shows that there is not too much difference. In individual results, the majority of students have set aside pocket money to save and do small businesses but have not yet appeared well managed, in group results there is already a detailed planning of financial management for business but the calculation of capital and profit is not appropriate. Financial management skills in elementary school students still need more serious handling in order to increase more creative and responsible.
