Abstract

Abstract This research aims to explore and analyze the role of effective communication played by lecturers in the context of increasing the effectiveness of students' final assignment completion. Good communication between lecturers and students has a significant impact on understanding, motivation, and the final results of the final project. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with lecturers and students who are currently completing or have completed their final assignments. The results of this research indicate that effective lecturer communication can provide positive encouragement to students, increase understanding of final assignment requirements, and stimulate motivation to complete projects well. Factors such as the lecturer's time availability, listening ability, providing constructive feedback, and an adaptive pedagogical approach are key elements in achieving effective communication. The importance of supporting students through open and constructive communication and providing appropriate guidance at every stage of final assignment completion is also a key finding. This research contributes to further understanding of the relationship between lecturer communication and the effectiveness of students' final assignment completion, as well as providing valuable insights for higher education institutions to improve the quality of education and final assignment guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to delve into the concept of sibling Rivalry in the Qur'an using a scientific approach. Siblinghood is a profound and essential value in Islamic teachings, serving as the foundation for interpersonal relationships within society. This research focuses on the analysis of Qur'anic verses that depict and discuss various aspects of siblinghood. The research methodology involves textual analysis of relevant verses, considering the historical and cultural context at the time of revelation. The findings indicate that the Qur'an emphasizes the significance of siblinghood as a basis for creating a just and harmonious society. Specific verses provide guidance on the rights and responsibilities among siblings, offering insights into the moral values that should be upheld in these relationships. This analysis also reveals that siblinghood in the Qur'an is not merely biological but encompasses spiritual and moral dimensions as well. The concept teaches solidarity, mutual assistance, and love among siblings as manifestations of devotion to Allah. Therefore, a profound understanding of the concept of siblinghood in the Qur'an can serve as a foundation for building a society characterized by compassion and justice. This research contributes to the scholarly understanding of the concept of siblinghood in the Qur'an and provides a new perspective on its practical implementation in daily life. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for developing educational and social programs aimed at strengthening the values of siblinghood in Muslim communities. Abstract

Abstract Darunnajah Islamic boarding school Jakarta, as one of the leading Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, continues to strive to strengthen relationships of trust with consumers through effective education financing management. The background to this research includes the complexity of financial challenges faced by educational institutions in maintaining a balance between financial needs and consumer expectations for the quality of educational services. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with managers and key stakeholders at the Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School, Jakarta, as well as analysis of documents related to education financing management. The research results show that the Darunnajah Jakarta Islamic Boarding School has succeeded in implementing a careful and adaptive education financing management strategy. These steps include diversification of funding sources, efficient financial management, and transparent policy implementation. In this way, this institution is able to strengthen consumer trust and maintain its reputation as a quality educational institution. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to reveal that anti-bullying policies in schools are very important to implement because they can help reduce the lack of bullying among students. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The place of this research is Mi At-Taqwa Arcamanik Bandung. The main data sources are the student affairs coordinator, extracurricular coordinator, women's coordinator, teachers and three Mi At-Taqwa Arcamanik Bandung students. Secondary sources are books, journals and articles. And documentary sources are in the form of observations and documentation in the form of photographs. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. And inductive data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research show that the Mi At-Taqwa Arcamanik Bandung school, in anticipating bullying, made a number of anti-bullying policies, including: (1). Identify bullying which has 4 aspects, including: (a). forms of bullying, (b). identification of the perpetrator/victim of bullying, (c). identification of the bad impacts of bullying, (d). create discipline and sanctions. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penanggulangan kleptomania dapat dilakukan dengan tahapan pendekatan terapi perilaku kognitif perspektif Al-Qur’an, yaitu : 1). Tindakan promotif berupa menjaga kesehatan fisik, mental dan spiritual serta penguatan iman dan implementasinya. 2). Tindakan preventif (pencegahan) yaitu harmonisasi keluarga, kondusifitas lingkungan masyarakat, dan pemahaman terhadap hak milik orang lain. 3). Tindakan kuratif (penyembuhan) dengan terapi perilaku kognitif perspektif Al-Qur’an yaitu identifikasi masalah, evaluasi sikap dan belief (keyakinan), implementasi ajaran agama Islam, peningkatan kontrol diri dan perencanaan alternatif, pengembangan pikiran positif, relaksasi, regulasi diri dan pengukuhan diri. 4). Tindakan Rehabilitasi dengan perlindungan dan pendampingan keluarga, menghindarkan dari lingkungan yang buruk serta menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data mencakup ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, hadis nabi, tafsir Al-Qur’an, hasil penelitian, jurnal, artikel, dan konferensi atau seminar. Sedangkan untuk menganalisa masalah ini penulis menggunakan metode tafsir tematik (maudhu’i).

Abstract

Pengeloaan citra pesantren menjadi hal penting sebagai salah satu upaya pesantren dalam memenangkan persaingan dengan lembaga lainnya. Citra pesantren yang positif diharapkan mampu menjadi keunggulan (competitive advantage). Citra pesantren sebagai persepsi stakeholder sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah tingkat pendidikan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji adakah perbedaan tingkat pendidikan santri terhadap persepsi mereka tentang citra pesantren. Penelitian dengan metode survei ini menggunakan analisis non parametri dengan teknik analisis Mann Whitney U-test. Survey dilakukan kepada 100 santri dengan tingkat pendidikan madrasah tsanawiyah dan madrasah aliyah. Teknik sampling dilakukan dengan simple random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media skor persepsi citra pesantren pada santri madrasah tsanawiyah sebesar 141 dan santri madrasah aliyah sebesar 143. Dengan uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan perbedaan skor tersebut tidak signifikan (sig. 0,445), yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan persepsi santri madrasah tsanawiyah dan madrasah aliyah terhadap citra pesantren mereka.

Abstract

Bullying, Sexual Violence, and Intolerance are significant challenges in the Indonesian education system, despite efforts by the Ministry of Education to address them. This study focuses on the application of the Small Group Discussion method to enhance students' understanding of the Hadith prohibiting the disparagement of fellow Muslims at SMA Darunnajah Jakarta. The research employs a classroom action research design with a one-group pretest-posttest method to measure the effectiveness of the intervention. The study was conducted in two cycles: in the first cycle, students used conventional methods, resulting in 45.83% of students achieving the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). After evaluation, improvements were made by implementing the Small Group Discussion method in the second cycle, which involved small group discussions to increase student engagement and understanding. The results showed a significant improvement, with 83.33% of students achieving the KKM after the intervention. These findings indicate that the Small Group Discussion method is more effective in enhancing students' understanding of Hadith compared to conventional methods. The study suggests integrating small group discussion methods into teaching to facilitate understanding of religious concepts and moral values in educational settings.

Abstract

Abstract This study examines the strategies employed by the principal of SMP Nurul Huda Grujugan Kidul Bondowoso in improving teacher performance. Teacher performance is critical in achieving quality education and reflects teachers' professionalism, skills, and dedication in executing their daily tasks. Effective school leadership plays a vital role in motivating teachers, providing necessary support, and creating an environment conducive to professional growth. This research aims to identify and analyze the strategies that have proven effective in enhancing teacher performance, focusing on areas such as competence development, discipline enforcement, motivation, and recognition. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study gathered data through interviews, observations, and document reviews involving school administrators and teachers. The findings reveal that regular training and workshops contributed to improving teaching skills, though some teachers faced challenges in integrating technology into their teaching practices. Discipline was reinforced through routine monitoring, clear leadership, and a structured reward and punishment system. Additionally, teacher motivation increased due to open communication, professional development opportunities, and balanced recognition systems. These strategies have positively impacted the overall teacher performance, contributing to a better educational environment at the school. The findings provide insights into effective leadership approaches that can enhance teacher motivation, discipline, and professional development.

Abstract

AbstractThis study explores the human resource management (HRM) practices at MTs Manbaul Ulum Tangsil Wetan Wonosari Bondowoso, aiming to understand recruitment, competency development, career advancement, performance evaluation, and compensation management within the madrasah context. With a qualitative approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving madrasah leaders, teachers, and staff. The thematic analysis method was used to identify relevant patterns. Findings reveal that HRM at MTs Manbaul Ulum encompasses a systematic recruitment and selection process to ensure the selection of qualified educators aligned with Islamic values. Competency development is enhanced through initial training, monthly internal programs, and external training sessions. Career advancement opportunities are structured into categories that provide clear growth pathways for educators. Regular performance evaluations, conducted quarterly, focus on both discipline and teaching effectiveness, with compensation adjustments made accordingly. Although compensation remains modest, a gradual increase is being implemented. These HRM strategies contribute significantly to improving educational quality in an Islamic educational institution. This research highlights the importance of structured HRM practices in supporting madrasah’s mission to deliver quality education while aligning with religious values.Keywords: human resource management, Islamic education, recruitment, competency development, performance evaluation

Abstract

This study analyzes the importance of character education within the framework of the independent curriculum, focusing on the integration of moral values in learning, the role of school leadership, and collaboration between teachers, parents, and the community. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies from journals, books, and official documents. The results of the study show that the independent curriculum supports project-based learning, the flexibility of a holistic approach, and the role of transformational leadership in creating a school culture that supports character education. The challenges faced include limited teacher training, gaps in student backgrounds, and lack of program evaluation. The implication is the need to increase teacher training, strengthen the role of school principals, and integrate local values and digital technology to strengthen the effectiveness of character education. This research provides strategic recommendations for policymakers and educators in building a generation with character in the modern era
