Abstract

The health of sheep is an important factor and can affect sheep production. Livestock health handlers include health handling, hoof cutting, cage disinfection, ectoparasite control, vaccine administration, and deworming. This activity aims to compare the knowledge gained in lectures and their application in the field related to housing management and sheep health. Abstract

Children are still in a period of growth and development. Therefore, efforts to maintain oral health and dental health are critical, especially in the school and preschool environment. The development of dental health in adulthood is influenced by past dental conditions. Through counseling programs, communities can actively contribute to increasing their self-defense efforts and better understand the importance of maintaining their oral and dental health. This study aims to educate children about the importance of maintaining oral and dental health. Thus, children who receive counseling will better understand oral health.

Abstract

Success in providing hospital services is measured by the level of patient satisfaction and patient family, satisfaction is a person's feeling of pleasure or disappointment with the impression obtained when or after receiving services. The purpose of the study was to determine the picture of the level of satisfaction of the patient's family at the children's poly of RSUD Indramayu. This research uses quantitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was the families of patients in the children's poly, for the sampling technique using accidental sampling as many as 85 respondents. Research instruments using questionnaires and data analysis using univariate. The results of this study found that as many as 48 respondents (56.5%) of patients' families were satisfied and 37 respondents (43.5%) of patients' families were dissatisfied, with dimensions tangible 65 respondents (76.5%) patient families are satisfied, reliability dimensions 68 respondents (80%) patient families are satisfied, responsiveness dimensions 68 respondents (80%) patient families feel dissatisfied, assurance dimensions 53 respondents (62.4%) and empathy dimensions 85 respondents (100%) patient families feel satisfied. The conclusion of this study illustrates the level of satisfaction of the patient's family at the children's poly of Indramayu Hospital, the results were obtained in the satisfied category of as many as 48 respondents (56.5%) and did not meet the minimum hospital service standards determined by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, which is ≥90%. It is recommended that medical personnel be able to make efforts or efforts in improving the health services provided.

Abstract

Making marker ink from organic waste is one way to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills. Students will learn that organic waste can be reutilized into useful products. The process of making marker ink from organic waste involves innovation and creativity in creating solutions to environmental problems. This socialization can encourage students to think critically and find alternative solutions to everyday problems. This implementation activity involves lecturers and heads of study programs in the Bioengineering study program of the Muhammadiyah Sumatra Institute of Technology. The place and time of the activity at B. Srikaton State Junior High School, on October 14, 2024. This socialization activity consists of material delivery, discussion, making markers using organic materials, evaluation, and closing. We hope that this knowledge will encourage participants to care more about their surroundings and take small steps to reduce waste and make creative use of it.

Abstract

A training session on Edu-agrotourism financial governance was conducted for KWT Bina Pertani, a farmer women's group in Kampung Liman Benawi, Trimurjo, Central Lampung, on January 26, 2024. The primary objective of this fundamental accounting and finance training was to enhance the understanding of financial management and the skills of KWT Bina Pertani members and village civil servants. The curriculum encompassed an overview of financial statements, rudimentary bookkeeping, the compilation of financial statements, and strategies for crop pricing. The training objectives were achieved through coordination, agreement, training materials and equipment preparation, and activities and evaluations. The training was delivered face-to-face with direct practice, and the participants enthusiastically received it. The training session yielded positive outcomes, with successful material delivery and achievement of the activity objectives.

Abstract

School is a very effective place of learning and character-building for students. Education in schools greatly influences knowledge, attitudes, consumption behaviors, and food choices. The Healthy Canteen and School Nutrition Garden are part of health education in schools. Educational institutions must be able to present and provide healthy canteens, as well as healthy food and school nutrition gardens, as one of the services that schools must provide to realize intelligent and healthy children. Therefore, schools are expected to accelerate and innovate food products made based on local food ingredients in schools. This Community Service activity continues NGTS education conducted in 2022 at SMAN 1 Beber. In 2023, we will continue to accelerate and innovate products produced and produced in school gardens and made by school residents for use. In addition, we hope this product innovation can be packaged well with special labeling of SMAN 1 Beber so that it can become one of the school's efforts to commercialize superior products that characterize SMAN 1 Beber.

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) is one of the health problems in the world, including Indonesia. The number of HIV/AIDS cases continues to increase from year to year. HIV/AIDS is one of the deadly diseases that has not yet been found a cure, so innovation is needed to cure HIV/AIDS sufferers. Therefore, counseling needs to be carried out to prevent an increase in HIV/AIDS sufferers in the community. Counseling activities about HIV/AIDS were carried out on August 25, 2023, at SMTK Yakbado, Dogiyai Regency, using counseling and questionnaires in the form of Pre-Test and Post-Test in statistical tests. The results of the statistical test showed an increase in knowledge before and after counseling about HIV/AIDS from the results (pretest 6.30% and posttest 7.88%) from 28 students with ten questions.

Abstract

This community service aims to understand the empowerment of the tourism village community in the Development of Ecotourism Potential in Malahing Tourism Village, Tanjung Laut Indah Village, South Bontang District, Bontang City, East Kalimantan Province. The main problem is the sustainability of the creative economy community empowerment program for the community, especially batik craftsmen. The research method used in qualitative descriptive research displays data as it is in Malahing Tourism Village without a process of manipulation or other treatments, including exposure and clarification of existing data from a phenomenon that occurs. PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur's CSR approach is carried out holistically, including social responsibility programs by paying attention to social, economic, and environmental aspects that emphasize the sustainability of community development for strategic stakeholders. The study results show that community empowerment in Malahing Tourism Village can independently improve the quality of life without dependence on the program organizer, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur.

Abstract

Socialization of the Slaughter of Sacrificial Animals following Islamic law and for the sake of public health is a form of community service. One of the purposes of this activity is to provide briefings on how to choose good sacrificial animals and how to slaughter and handle sacrificial meat following sharia. The target of this PPM activity is the mosque or musholla ta'mir in Cirebon, high school students in charge of spirituality, the organizing committee, and students. This community service activity took place on June 12, 2024, from 08.00 to 12.00 with counseling presented and assisted by audiovisuals. The socialization activity of slaughtering sacrificial animals received enthusiasm from the participants with a discussion session with three speakers. The message from the participants is that this activity can be carried out 30 days before the Eid al-Adha celebration so that they can choose sacrificial animals according to Islamic law.
