Jurnal Abdimas: Sosial, Bisnis, dan Lingkungan (E-ISSN 3032-3738) mencerminkan semangat pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bidang ilmu ekonomi, bisnis, komunikasi, dan informatika. Abdimas (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) sebagai pilar utama, jurnal ini merangkum dedikasi untuk memberikan dampak positif pada kehidupan masyarakat melalui penelitian dan pengembangan. Konsep "Sosial" menyoroti pentingnya keterlibatan masyarakat dalam setiap aspek pengabdian, menjadikan partisipasi aktif mereka sebagai fondasi bagi solusi yang relevan. Bagian "Bisnis" fokus pada keberlanjutan ekonomi, mempertimbangkan peran inovasi dalam menciptakan pertumbuhan yang seimbang dan berkelanjutan. Sementara itu, dimensi "Lingkungan" menekankan pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem dalam konteks bisnis dan ekonomi. Jurnal ini menjadi arena kolaborasi lintas disiplin ilmu, mengundang kontribusi penelitian dari berbagai perspektif untuk menghasilkan solusi konkret terhadap tantangan kompleks yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Dengan pandangan holistik, Jurnal Abdimas bertujuan menjadi agen perubahan positif dengan menggabungkan pengetahuan dan inovasi dalam upaya mencapai kesejahteraan masyarakat secara menyeluruh. Jurnal Abdimas terbit setiap bulan April dan Oktober. Harap baca pedoman dengan cermat. Penulis yang ingin mengirimkan naskahnya ke redaksi Jurnal Abdimas harus mematuhi pedoman penulisan. Jika naskah yang dikirimkan tidak sesuai dengan pedoman atau ditulis dalam format yang berbeda, maka akan DITOLAK oleh editor sebelum ditinjau lebih lanjut. Abstract

Ginger is spice plant that potential to develop to be phytopharmacon because it contains bioactive compounds, such as alkaloid, flavonoid, phenolic, triterpenoid, saponin, and essential oil, i.e., gingerol, shogaol, zingiberene, (+)-curcumene, (-)-β-sesquiphelandrene paradol, and bisabolene. These compounds can used to maintain body health. Proklim Jati Asri oversees the PKK Asman Toga, a community group enthusiastic about growing ginger to preserve the environment and reduce the greenhouse effect. The Proklim program, in partnership with the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Widya Mandala Catholic University, Surabaya, aims to provide ginger cultivation and processing training to community groups with limited knowledge and skills. This training allows them to cultivate and process ginger into semi-finished and finished products that can generate income, contribute to environmental conservation, and create herbal medicine at home. This activity was held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and was attended by 22 participants (women from the PKK Asman Toga). The knowledge evaluation showed a 68,18% of participant increased in theirs’s knowledge. Throughout the activity, participants were highly enthusiastic, collaborated with each other to complete tasks, and actively participated in the training. The community service activity succeeded in improving the participants' abilities in cultivating and processing ginger.

Abstract

Giving basic financial investment education as a service to the community was done for students at Tunas Harapan Christian High School in Bogor. The point of this activity was to teach them the basics of understanding money and investing while they are still in school. This program was carried out because students do not know much about handling their money and planning safe investments, and they often spend too much without a plan. The topics covered included learning about what investing is, the different ways to invest that people usually use (like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, gold, and savings accounts), looking at the risks and possible rewards, advice on starting to invest with a small amount of money, and common mistakes to avoid. The ways used to carry out this training included interactive talks, question and answer times, sharing stories, and showing information with PowerPoint slides. The students were guided to understand how saving money, investing safely, and reaching money goals in the future are all connected. The results of this activity showed that the students knew more about basic investing ideas, were aware of the risks, and could plan how to start managing their own money. With this education, it is hoped that students can develop good, thrifty, and planned money habits from an early age.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted to address challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under the Genggam Teman Indonesia Foundation, particularly in product quality, branding, and technology use. Held in a hybrid format at Nusa Mandiri University, Jatiwaringin Campus, the program involved 21 MSME participants. The training aimed to strengthen knowledge and skills in branding, product design, raw material selection, production standards, and quality control. Methods included preliminary surveys, lectures, interactive discussions, and evaluations through pre- and post-training questionnaires. Results indicated improvements in participants’ understanding of product design and branding, ability to select quality raw materials, application of production standards, and implementation of quality control. Confidence in marketing products also increased. Active involvement of participants, who presented their products as case studies, made the sessions more contextual and practical. However, limited capital, restricted distribution channels, and varying digital literacy remained obstacles. In conclusion, the program enhanced MSMEs’ capacity in product quality and branding. Future activities should emphasize sustainable mentoring and collaboration with stakeholders to expand access to financing, distribution, and raw materials, thereby creating a stronger support system for MSME growth.

Abstract

The abdimas (community service) activity on digital marketing for aquaculture products in Desa Sukajadi, Bogor, aimed to strengthen the capacity of local fish farmers and micro-entrepreneurs in facing digital era market challenges. This program was initiated due to limited market access and low digital literacy among the community. The activity involved 12 participants selected from local aquaculture groups. The implementation included three stages: preparation (coordination and material design), training (presentation and demonstration on social media, marketplace use, and product content creation), and evaluation (pre- and post-training questionnaires). The evaluation showed an increase of 75% in participants’ understanding of digital marketing concepts and practical skills in using online promotional tools. Participants were able to create social media content and digital product catalogs independently after the training. The program proved that digital marketing can be an effective strategy to expand market reach and enhance the competitiveness of local aquaculture products. Continuous mentoring is recommended to ensure sustainability and long-term benefits for the community.

Abstract

The objective of the community service program is to enhance digital literacy and improve marketing skills for fish farming in Sukajadi Village, Bogor. This initiative aims to assist fish farmers in effectively utilizing digital media to sell their products and connect with a broader customer base. The implementation strategy involves social integration, skills development, and hands-on experience, scheduled for a full day (8 hours) on July 18, 2025. The program will engage 20 fish farmers and local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The approach includes using smartphones to capture photos and videos that promote fishery products. The results of the activity revealed a significant 65% increase in the digital literacy of the participants, particularly in their abilities to take pictures, edit content, and publish on social media platforms. Participants began to modify their digital marketing strategies by uploading content more frequently and producing higher-quality media. In conclusion, this training successfully improved the participants' skills in digital promotion, creating long-term opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of local fishery products through the effective use of digital media.
