Abstract

This study aims to discuss strategies in increasing the number of customers in Islamic banks. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, which involves collecting data from various sources such as journals and related articles. The results of the study indicate that there are several strategies that can be applied by Islamic banks to increase the number of their customers, including optimal use of technology, use of Islamic fintech, promotion through various media channels, and mergers or consolidations with other banks. In addition, this study also identifies challenges faced in implementing Islamic bank marketing strategies, such as the lack of public understanding of Islamic banks and the lack of quality human resources in the field of Islamic banking.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and function of zakat and waqf institutions in Indonesia, namely BAZNAS, LAZNAS, and BWI, in managing zakat and waqf in order to provide optimal benefits to the community. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, with primary data sources in the form of Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management and Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf, as well as secondary data sources from books, scientific journals, and official publications of related institutions. The results of the study indicate that BAZNAS and LAZNAS have an important role in managing zakat, from collection, distribution, to utilization, while BWI plays a role in developing and advancing waqf in Indonesia, including the management of productive waqf. This study highlights the importance of credibility and accountability in zakat management, as well as the potential of waqf as an instrument for empowering the people's economy.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that was present in Indonesia resulted in a large number of deaths and transmission of the Covid-19 Virus. In this regard, the government issued various policies such as Physical Distancing, Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), and Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM). This policy is considered quite significant in breaking the chain of the spread of the Coronavirus, but this policyactually hits the economic sector where it causes an increase in the unemployment rate.Therefore, this study aims to determine what factors cause high unemployment in North Sumatra. The research method carried out by researchers is Literature Review by reviewing various articles from previous studies that have been published nationally in accredited scientific journals. In this study the authors used a data collection method, namely Literary Study where research was conducted by quoting several literature from books, articles, and other essays that are closely related to the factors causing the high unemployment rate in North Sumatra 2021 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.The results of this study indicate that there are several factors causing the high unemployment rate . Among them are mass termination of employment relations, government policies such as PSBB and PPKM, and closure of employment opportunities

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the preferences of Medan State University students between the Grab and Gojek online motorcycle taxi platforms. This study uses a qualitative method where the author collects respondent data through a questionnaire. The qualitative method is used for the reason of measuring the comparison of online motorcycle taxi platforms used by students of Medan State University (UNIMED). The results of this study indicate that the preferences of Medan State University students vary between Grab and Gojek due to several factors that influence them. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the preferences of Medan State University students tend to choose Grab. Grab is considered to offer more attractive discounts and promos and cheaper prices. Meanwhile, some students choose Grab because it offers a wider variety of payment methods. From this study, we can see that the promotion factor is the thing that most influences student preferences at UNIMED. From both of these platforms, they have positive experiences and satisfaction from consumers and students are willing to recommend Grab and Gojek as online motorcycle taxi platforms to others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see and analyze the influence of financial performance and management policies of the Company on the value of the company. This study conducted a literature review on ten research articles that discuss the Company's financial performance and management policies of the company. This study found that any measuring instrument and ratio that has been used by previous studies to measure the company's financial performance is the financial ratio. From several previous studies, financial ratios include liquidity ratios, profitability, solvency, and activity. The results of this study are, This study shows that investment decisions, capital structure, dividend policy, and financial performance such as profitability and efficiency have an effect on company value.

Abstract

In an era where education is increasingly developing rapidly, a number of programs from the government have changed the learning system in daily lectures, where the role of lecturers is often required to be the spearhead in attracting students' interest in learning. Lecturers are given the freedom to choose the best learning methods, strategies and techniques according to their needs. courses, students, teachers, and circumstances. teaching ability to produce innovative and effective learning. In this case, a teacher must be able to innovate in teaching activities so that students can feel satisfaction during the learning process. This research aims to fill this knowledge gap by studying the Influence of Teaching Ability and Lecturer Discipline on Student Learning Satisfaction (Case Study in the Department of Management, Medan State University). This research uses quantitative methods. The data collection technique used in this research is a questionnaire. The population in the study were students majoring in Management at Medan State University.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine the effect of budgeting variables on operational efficiency in Seulawah Kupi. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data collection in this study was obtained through distributing questionnaires to employees and buyers at Seulawah Kupi. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling. The data analysis used in this study used simple linear regression. The results of this study concluded that budgeting has no significant effect on operational efficiency, in the simple linear regression test results with a significance value of 0,924> 0,05. In the classic assumption test, the normality test found 0,056> 0,05 which means the data is normally distributed. Then in the homogeneity test, the sig value is 0,213> 0,05, which means that the data is homogeneous, and in the multicollinearity test, a tolerance value of 1,000> 0,100 and VIF 1,000 < 10,00 is found, which means that the effect of budgeting on operational efficiency in Seulawah Kupi does not occur Multicollinearity.

Abstract

Performance measurement is an important element in assessing the effectiveness of policy implementation, including financial regulations at the local government level. By measuring financial performance, we can obtain valuable feedback regarding the suitability and accuracy of implementing these regulations. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of local government size and economic growth on local government financial performance. In this study, the sample used in this research was a purposive sampling sample, with the population of Regional Governments and Regency/City Regional People's Representative Councils (DPRD) in Indonesia in 2018.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of independence ratio, PAD efficiency ratio, and PAD effectiveness ratio on total revenue of Bandung. The independent variables used are the ratio of regional financial independence, the efficiency ratio of PAD, and the effectiveness ratio of PAD, while the dependent variable is the total revenue of Bandung City. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the independence ratio, PAD efficiency ratio, and PAD effectiveness ratio had a significant effect on the total revenue of Bandung City both partially and simultaneously. A comprehensive understanding of the relationship between these ratios and local revenue can provide a better view in designing regional and autonomous economic development policies and effective financial management, in order to improve public welfare and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The restaurant industry in Indonesia, especially in the city of Medan, has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Increasingly fierce competition encourages restaurant businesses to continue innovating to provide the best service to consumers. One of the factors that greatly influence customer satisfaction in the restaurant industry is the quality of service and the restaurant atmosphere. The aim of this study is to find out whether service quality and store atmosphere have an influence on customer satisfaction. The method used in this research is associative-causal. Collecting data through observation and interviews. The subject of this study are consumers at Cassiavera Restaurant Medan. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling. Data analysis shows that both service quality and atmosphere have a significant impact on consumer satisfaction. The results of this research provide important implications for restaurant management in efforts to increase customer satisfaction and organizational competitiveness
