Abstract

Future generations are a crucial pillar of society. They will become leaders and take charge of societal development. Therefore, preparing the younger generation is essential, especially through dayah educational institutions. As the oldest religious education institutions operating within Indonesian society, dayah institutions face numerous challenges in adapting to the digital era. These challenges include preparing the younger generation to keep up with modern developments and becoming agents of community development. This article employs qualitative research methods to address these issues, using observation and analytical studies of relevant documentation. The findings suggest that dayah educational institutions need to modernize their systems by integrating technological advancements and preparing adequate resources to support their educational missions. Additionally, incorporating religious moderation into the curriculum is necessary to foster tolerance and appreciation for diversity among the younger generation. This approach aims to safeguard them from the influence of hoaxes disseminated by irresponsible parties via social media and the internet, which could disrupt societal unity. Abstract

Bullying cases in the educational environment, including in dayah (pesantren), are a serious problem and have a negative impact on the psychology and social development of santri. This study aims to identify and analyse efforts to prevent bullying cases in Dayah Perbatasan Minhajussalam Subulussalam City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves in-depth interviews with dayah managers, teachers, students, as well as direct observation in the field. The results showed that bullying prevention efforts in the dayah include several important steps, including: fostering religious morals and ethics through religious teaching that focuses on the values of tolerance and compassion, However, there are still in the implementation of these prevention efforts, such as Many people, including victims and witnesses, do not always realise that they are facing or witnessing acts of bullying.

Abstract

Metode Manhaji menggunakan lagu sebagai media inovatif untuk pembelajaran Nahwu dan Shorof. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi dan efektivitas metode Manhaji di Pondok Pasantren Al-Fitiyan, Tibang Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan mempermudah santri dalam menghafal serta memahami kaidah Nahwu dan Shorof. Lagu dengan irama yang menarik menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam meningkatkan daya ingat dan retensi materi. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih inovatif dan efektif di pesantren diseluh Aceh.

Abstract

In improving teacher discipline, it is strongly influenced by the role of the madrasah principal as a supervisor through academic supervision. Principals are required to be able to utilise and overcome together all the problems that occur in schools, thus leadership can influence others to achieve the desired goals. The purpose of this study was to find out about: (1) academic supervision in preparing madrasah programme. (2) obstacles faced by principals in improving teacher discipline. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the principal and teachers of MIN 11 Central Aceh Regency. Data analysis techniques in this study using data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) academic supervision in the preparation of the programme is carried out at the beginning of the school year, involving teachers. academic supervision programmes are prepared based on the problems and needs of teachers. (2) the principal of MIN 11 Central Aceh Regency has obstacles in improving teacher discipline at school. This can be seen from the work ethic of teachers who are still weak, teachers live far from school, different educational backgrounds, so they lack administrative skills, both teacher administration and classroom administration. It is expected that school principals can provide encouragement and direction in their performance regarding teacher discipline, teacher commitment, teacher ability and teacher responsibility effectively and efficiently to improve teacher discipline in schools.

Abstract

The progress of the times has caused many young people to stray from Islamic values, especially akhlaqul karimah. Institutions such as Islamic boarding schools are needed as a solution to minimise and even change this gap, transforming it in accordance with Islamic values themselves. A wise strategic process is required to successfully produce young people who are Islamic and possess akhlaqul karimah. This study is titled "Strategies of Sulaimaniyah Islamic Boarding School in Instilling Moral Values Among Its Students (A Study at Sulaimaniyah Islamic Boarding School for Sultan Selahaddin Students)." The objective of this study is to identify the strategies employed by the Sulaimaniyah Islamic Boarding School in Sultan Selahaddin to instill akhlaqul karimah in its students, as well as the supporting and hindering factors in the process of instilling these values. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of 7 individuals, comprising 1 boarding school leader, 2 teachers, and 4 students. The da'wah strategies implemented include enforcing regulations that foster good habits, such as prioritising manners over knowledge, teachers setting a good example, the absence of violence, and sincerity. The supporting factors in the process of instilling akhlaqul karimah values include a positive external environment, students having a vision and mission, and synchronisation between teachers, students, and donors. The inhibiting factors include a negative social environment, students having other goals while living in the dormitory, lack of synchronisation between teachers and students, and cultural differences between students and teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the approach to developing the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum through a literature study method. The main focus of this study is to explore the basic principles and ideal direction of PAI curriculum development by examining written sources, such as books, scientific journals, and education policy documents. The results of the study indicate that the development of the PAI curriculum ideally integrates Islamic values, national educational philosophy, student developmental psychology, social demands, and advances in science and technology. The approach used is holistic, accommodating academic, social reconstruction, and humanistic approaches, so that the PAI curriculum is not only normative-theological, but also contextual and transformative.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in class XI-A at SMA Negeri 1 Samadua. The low learning outcomes were caused by various factors, including teachers still using conventional methods and teacher dominance in the learning process, resulting in an ineffective and monotonous learning process. This study aimed to improve student learning outcomes by using the Number Head Together learning model in class XI-A at SMA Negeri 1 Samadua. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 26 students of class XI-A of SMA Negeri 1 Samadua, who were selected through total sampling. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, questionnaires, and tests. The data were analyzed using percentage statistical formulas. The results of the research showed an increase in student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of student learning achievement was only 46.15% with an average score of 63.46. In cycle I, it increased to 69.23% with an average score of 68.85, and in cycle II, there was a more significant increase to 88.46% with an average score of 78.46%. Student learning activities also improved from the category of adequate (C) to good (B), and the category of good increased to very good (A). Student responses to the implementation of the Number Head Together model used by teachers in PAI learning were positive. This can be proven by the students' response, with an average of 85% agreeing and only 15% disagreeing. Finally, the application of the Number Head Together learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in class XI-A at SMA Negeri 1 Samadua.

Abstract

Educational resource management in Indonesia faces challenges such as the unequal distribution of teachers, limited infrastructure, and low utilisation of technology. Additionally, inefficient fund management and lack of community involvement hinder the improvement of educational quality. This study aims to analyse the importance of integrated educational resource management in improving school quality. The methodology used is library research, collecting data from relevant literature and reports. The findings indicate that data-driven strategies, cross-sector collaboration, and an organisational culture that supports collaboration can improve efficiency. Integrated management optimises resources and sustainably improves education quality.

Abstract

Character as an accumulation of the interaction of values ​​with the human psyche has been the object of psychological studies by scientists to this day. The debate questions the relevant values ​​in self-development to strengthen character. Although there has been a cognitive revolution, no study has been found that involves the values ​​of dhikrullah as a character stimulus. The vibration of dhikrullah contains values ​​that can function to develop self-awareness to strengthen character. This study is an academic response to the need for values ​​as a stimulus in strengthening character. The author collected qualitative data to find the relevant values ​​of dhikrullah as a stimulus to strengthen character. The results of the study show that the values ​​of dhikrullah can be a stimulus that strengthens character. The values ​​of dhikrullah can be a stimulus variable to increase self-awareness. The effect of dhikrullah affects emotions such as feelings of emotion, crying and joy. Therefore, the author concludes that continued awareness of the values ​​contained in zikullah can strengthen your character. The results of this study are useful in building character through the dhikrullah values ​​approach.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the educational values contained in the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ” صَلُّوا كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي أُصَلِّي” (Pray as you see me praying). This hadith is not only the main guideline in the procedure of prayer, but also contains holistic and applicable principles of Islamic education. This research uses the library research method by examining various relevant literature sources. The sanad of the hadith, the quality of the narrators, and the content (matan) of the hadith were analyzed to assess its validity and educational value. The results show that the Hadith contain the value of exemplary (uswah hasanah), visual and practical learning, internalization of the meaning of worship, the importance of standardization in education, and the need for active interaction between educators and students. These values are very relevant in building an Islamic education system that touches the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional aspects of students. Therefore, this hadith is not only important in the fiqh aspect of worship, but can also be used as a basis for developing a contextual and effective approach to Islamic education in the modern era.
