Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of Trisakti Catholic High School students by applying the PBL learning model to the reaction rate material and to determine the response of Trisakti Catholic High School students by applying the PBL learning model to the reaction rate topic. This type of research is experimental research. The population in the study were students of class XI IPA Trisakti Catholic High School. The sample of this study was all students of XI IPA-4 Trisakti Catholic High School as many as 30 students. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The analysis techniques used were the average test score, percentage of increase in learning outcomes, normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test and gain test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous and the average value of the experimental class posttest data was greater than the pretest. The PBL learning model developed on the reaction rate topic was higher than the KKM value set. It can be concluded that the chemistry learning outcomes of students who were taught with the PBL learning model developed on the reaction rate topic increased student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the feasibility of web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution materials, (2) student concept understanding profiles after using web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution materials, (3) chemistry teacher responses to web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution materials, (4) student responses to web-based diagnostic tests on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution materials. The method used in this development research is the ADDIE method which consists of 5 stages of treatment, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results showed that the web-based diagnostic test developed was considered very feasible and effective, with positive responses from teachers and students regarding presentation, language, content, and benefits. This test also succeeded in improving students' concept understanding on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials, so it has the potential to be used as a learning evaluation tool.

Abstract

Based on observations that have been made in high school in chemistry learning, it can be seen that during learning, teachers do not use technology enough in their learning, teachers still only use media in the form of textbooks, and give assignments, making learning less interesting for students and sometimes making students not understand the content of the material. learning. This research aims to analyze the development of Google Sites web-based learning media developed for chemistry subjects, and the feasibility of the Google Sites web-based learning media developed. The research and development model for Google Sites web-based learning media uses the ADDIE learning model. This research uses non-test instruments, non-test instruments in the form of validation sheets that meet BSNP standards, namely aspects of appropriateness of content, presentation, language and graphics by a four-category scale validator. The validation feasibility results show that the development of Google Sites web learning media on ionic and covalent bond material is in the valid category. It can be concluded that the Google Sites web-based learning media on ionic and covalent bonds for class X high school is feasible and does not need to be revised.

Abstract

This study aims to show the feasibility of using the lectora inspire learning media based on BSNP criteria; show whether the discovery learning model has an effect on learning outcomes; show learning achievements by comparing them to the KKM; and show the correlation between motivation and learning outcomes with the discovery learning model using the lectora inspire learning media. This study uses the ADDIE approach. The research on the implementation stage of using the lectora inspire learning media was conducted with Pre-Experiment Designs in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample selection was carried out using the purposive sampling technique, the sample studied was 41 students of SMA Negeri 7 Medan. The results of this study indicate that the average feasibility of using the lectora inspire learning media on all BNSP criteria is in the very feasible category; its use has an effect on improving student learning outcomes; the learning achievement obtained with the discovery learning model using the lectora inspire learning media is higher than the KKM; and student learning motivation is significantly correlated with their learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the lectora inspire media product obtained from this study is an innovative media product.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-based learning (PBL) module integrated with scientific literacy on the reaction rate material. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this study is a PBL-based module integrated with scientific literacy. The object of this study is the chemical reaction rate material. This study refers to the steps of Borg and Gall but is limited to 5 steps or stages. The steps begin with data and information collection, PBL-based module development planning, initial product development, initial field trials, and revision of trial results. The developed module is validated and tested. Meanwhile, to see the attractiveness of the module, a data collection method is carried out using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that the PBL-based module integrated with scientific literacy on the chemical reaction rate material was declared feasible after validation. And declared interesting after obtaining a very interesting category percentage. It can be concluded that the development of a problem-based learning (PBL) module integrated with scientific literacy on the reaction rate material has been successful and can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the analysis of needs and feasibility of learning media based on computational methods on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at the Computational Chemistry Laboratory, Chemistry Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Medan. The population in this study was a simple molecular structure. The sample used in this study were high school students. The instruments used were validation sheets and questionnaires. The types of data used in this study were qualitative data and quantitative data. The analysis includes needs analysis and analysis of media validation. The results obtained in this study indicate that learning media based on 3D visualization and molecular animation using NWChem Software on the sub-topic of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions in high school based on BNSP from the assessment of material experts obtained an average percentage of the very feasible category and the feasibility and suitability of the media with the feasible category. It can be concluded that the learning media based on the 3D visualization and molecular animation computational method that has been developed is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Post-covid 19, educational institutions began to change their status from online to offline in accordance with applicable government policies. This study aims to determine the behavioral patterns of pre-adolescents after covid-19 and how to overcome these behavioral patterns from an Islamic religious education perspective. This study is a qualitative descriptive research method using a case study approach. This study collected data using a structured interview method and took samples using convenience sampling techniques. According to the results of the study, the behavioral patterns of pre-adolescents have increased significantly, which are usually difficult to control, becoming increasingly difficult to control to the point of being out of control. The way teachers overcome this problem is by instilling Islamic religious education values in the form of religious, intellectual, moral, psychological and social values. The findings of the researchers show that educators instill these values so that the behavioral patterns of pre-adolescents gradually change. It can be concluded that with Islamic religious education, changes in the behavioral patterns of pre-adolescents after Covid-19 can be overcome.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the product of multi-representation-based teaching materials, to determine the teacher's response to multi-representation-based teaching materials, to determine the students' responses to multi-representation-based teaching materials and to determine the effectiveness of multi-representation-based physics teaching materials. improve students' analytical thinking skills at MAN 2 Makassar. The experimental subjects of this study were 25 students of class X MIPA II MAN 2 Makassar. This research uses the ADDIE model development. The instruments used in this study were a multi-representation-based physics teaching material validation sheet, a teacher and student response questionnaire sheet, and a physics learning outcome test instrument. The results showed that the multi-representation-based physics teaching material in physics learning in class X MIPA II MAN 2 Makassar was valid with a validity content value of 0.74, the assessment of the educator's response to multi-representation-based physics teaching materials was in the very good/very practical category, response assessment students to multi-representationbased physics teaching materials are in the very good/practical category, the effectiveness of using multi-representation-based physics teaching materials is in the very good category. The effectiveness of multi-representation-based Physics teaching materials in learning is shown from the results of the Physics learning test with a percentage of 68% being above the KKM value

Abstract

This class action research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of second grade students of SDN Karanganyar I Pasuruan Regency using the demonstration method. This research was carried out in two cycles, in which one cycle was carried out for one day. In each cycle there are stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were grade II students of SDN Karanganyar I, Kraton District, Pasuruan Regency, totaling 30 students with 17 female students and 13 male students, grade II teachers of SDN Karanganyar I, and the principal of SDN Karanganyar I. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. In analyzing data, there are three activities, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that in cycle I of the pre-test stage, only 11 students (37.93%) achieved mastery and 18 students (62.06%) did not. In cycle I post-test stage, those who reached completeness were 14 students (48.27%) and those who did not were 15 students (51.72%). In the second cycle stage, almost all students reached mastery, namely 28 students (96.55%) and there was only 1 student (3.44%) who did not complete. Based on the results of the study, this demonstration method can improve the achievement of student learning outcomes, as well as increase enthusiasm in the learning process. When students are enthusiastic and excited about what they are learning, their learning outcomes can also improve, and it is likely that they will also be enthusiastic in other subjects. For teachers and prospective teachers, the demonstration method is very suitable to be applied in the current 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Abstract The development of STEM-based LKPD (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in this study aims to improve students' scientific literacy skills on excretory system material and is distributed through software construct 2 which has the advantage of not using programming languages . (coding) in its design. The research design applied is a research and development type with a 4-D framework model consisting of four stages, namely: 1) Definition, 2) Design, 3) Development (Develop) and 4) Implementation. The subjects in this study included validators of material experts, learning experts, design experts, educators in the field of biology studies and students of class XI MIPA-4 SMA Negeri 1 Kuala. The data collected and analyzed are quantitative data and qualitative data originating from interview observation sheets, validation sheets from the expert team of validators, educators' assessments and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the LKPD which had been validated by material experts obtained results with an average number of 89.58% with the "Very Eligible" category, the validation of learning experts by 84.16% in the "Very Eligible" category, design experts by 83.86 % with the "Very Eligible" category. ". The results of the assessment from educators in the field of biology studies obtained results with an average number of 94.6% in the "Very Eligible" category, and the results of the student questionnaire responses of 91.2% in the "Good" category.
