Abstract

This research aims to provide solutions for Percut Sei Tuan 1 Public Middle School students in facing the career planning problems they are experiencing, and also aims to identify the various causes of these career planning problems. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were students of SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The results of this research show that several students at SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan experienced difficulties in career planning. The causes of the difficulties they experience in choosing a career also vary.

Abstract

This study contrastively analyzes the thoughts of Nurcholish Madjid and Abul A'la Al-Maududi on the concept of democracy in Islam. Using a descriptive qualitative method and a literature review approach, this study explores the fundamental differences in the two figures' views on the relationship between Islam and democracy. Nurcholish Madjid emphasizes the compatibility of Islam with modern democracy through the concepts of secularization (desacralization) and pluralism, by placing religion as a source of moral values without having to become a formal political institution. In contrast, Al-Maududi proposed the concept of theodemocracy that emphasizes the supremacy of sharia and the sovereignty of God (hakimiyyatullah) in the government system. The results showed that the differences in the thinking of the two figures were influenced by different socio-political contexts: Madjid was influenced by the reality of Indonesian pluralism and Islamic modernism, while Al-Maududi was influenced by the experience of colonialism and efforts to maintain Islamic identity in India. Despite their different approaches, both emphasized the importance of deliberation and the role of Islam as moral guidance in the state. This study contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the varied interpretations of the relationship between Islam and democracy in the modern context.

Abstract

This research examines the prohibition of approaching adultery in the perspective of the Qur'an, especially in Surah Al-Isra' verse 32, and its relevance to the phenomenon of dating among Muslim teenagers in the modern era. The main focus of this research is an in-depth analysis of the linguistic and thematic meaning of the verse, as well as its implications for contemporary social life. The methodology used is a tafsir analysis of various prominent mufassirs such as Quraish Shihab, Hamka, Ibn Kathir, and the compiler of Tafsir Jalalain. The results show that the prohibition of approaching adultery does not only cover the act of adultery itself, but also any behavior that can lead to it, including the phenomenon of dating that is not in accordance with the Sharia. This research also reveals the significant impact of dating on the moral, psychological, and social aspects of Muslim teenagers. As a solution, this study offers a comprehensive approach through Islamic education, the active role of family and society, and Islamic alternatives such as ta'aruf in getting to know potential partners.

Abstract

The culinary industry in Indonesia continues to grow rapidly, especially in the innovative fast food category. One product that is increasingly in demand is chili oil chicken dumplings, which combine chicken dumplings with a signature chili oil sauce. This product offers a spicy, savory, and delicious taste with various levels of spiciness that can be adjusted according to consumer tastes. With the increasing demand for fast food, the chili oil chicken dumpling business has a wide and promising market opportunity. However, to ensure the sustainability of this business, a business feasibility study is needed that covers various important aspects, such as marketing, human resources, operations, and finance. This research uses a qualitative method with an observation and case study approach to analyze the opportunities and challenges in the chili oil chicken dumpling business. The results show that fast food remains the top choice of the public, especially young people and housewives, who prioritize convenience as well as nutritional quality. Therefore, entrepreneurs who want to enter this business must consider food safety factors, information transparency, and environmental sustainability to build consumer trust and market competitiveness.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find elements of mathematics (ethnomathematics) in the swimming pool tourist attraction in Tanjung Morawa, Indonesia. This research uses qualitative methods with an ethnographic approach. The data used is data obtained from literature studies, observations, documentation and interviews. Observation and documentation are used to identify ethnomathematics at the Kuala Mega Swimming Pool tourist attraction. Meanwhile, literature and interviews were used to find out more about the architectural artistic values in Kuala Mega buildings. The results of this research are that there are elements of mathematics (ethnomathematics) in the Kuala Mega tourist attraction, namely the concepts of rectangles, circles, octagons and parallel lines. Through the activity of observing the Kuala Mega building in mathematics learning, the ethnomathematics approach explains that cultural elements can be used in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between the concept of God and culture as a foundation for harmonious multicultural life. The background focuses on globalization challenges threatening cultural identity and the importance of divine values in uniting diversity. Employing descriptive qualitative methods with a literature study approach, the research examines scholarly literature to identify patterns of the religion-culture nexus in pluralistic societies. Findings reveal that divine values, such as justice and compassion, serve as the basis for universal morality, while culture acts as a medium to align religious values with social life. In conclusion, the synergy between divine values and culture fosters constructive dialogue, tolerance, and social cohesion in multicultural communities. This article offers both theoretical insights and practical implications for further development

Abstract

Multicultural inclusive Islamic education is a strategic approach in facing the challenges of diversity in Indonesian society. This article aims to examine how the values of inclusivity and multiculturalism in the perspective of the Qur'an can be applied in madrasahs. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach to the verses of the Qur'an, educational policies, and previous research results. The results of the study show that the principle of inclusivity taught in the Qur'an, such as in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 13, is the main foundation for creating a curriculum that respects cultural, religious, and special needs diversity. This approach is not only relevant to improving the quality of learning, but also to forming the character of students who are tolerant, fair, and harmonious. The implementation of multicultural inclusive Islamic education in madrasahs requires the support of a holistic curriculum, teacher training, and a school culture that respects diversity. This article emphasizes the importance of synergy between theological values and educational practices in realizing a peaceful society amidst diversity.

Abstract

This article discusses the Policy Analysis of Multicultural Insights in Islamic Education in Schools/Madrasah, in the study of Islamic religious education policies, which focus on the challenges and opportunities for implementing multi-cultural Islamic religious education policies in schools /madrasah. The results of the study show that the core values of multicultural education are: appreciation of the reality of cultural plurality in society; recognition of human dignity and human rights; development of the responsibility of the world community, and the development of human responsibility towards planet earth. The substance is explained in the seven values of Islamic education with multi-cultural perspective, namely; andragogical value, peace, inclusion, kearipan, tolerance, humanism and freedom. These four domains, as a condition for increasing humanist, pluralist and democratic behavior. He explained, beginning with the basic concept, the policy and the urgency of multi-cultural education education, the implementation of multi-cultural education education policies and the problems it faces. Abstract

Islam, as a divine and humanistic trust, is a profound concept that emphasizes humanity's responsibility to live according to God's teachings. From God's perspective, Islam emphasizes that all humans have a strong spiritual bond with their Creator, which requires them to carry out the Creator's commands with full awareness and sincerity. Islam, on the other hand, is a humanitarian mission that calls on its followers to respect each other, do good, and uphold social justice. Teachings such as honesty, compassion and solidarity form the basis of interaction between people, and Islam is not only spiritually important, but also a practical guide for building a harmonious and civilized society. Therefore, understanding Islam as a divine and humanistic mission is the key to balancing vertical relationships with God and horizontal relationships with fellow humans.

Abstract

Pendidikan kader dai berbasis Masjid merupakan langkah strategis untuk melahirkan dai yang tangguh dalam aspek intelektual, fisik, spiritual, dan finansial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dan mengevaluasi implementasi program Pendidikan Kader Dai berbasis Masjid di Sekolah Dai Azura (SADAR), Masjid Azura, Kabupaten Bogor, dalam membentuk dai yang kompeten secara ilmiah dan efektif dalam berdakwah. Fokus penelitian meliputi pembekalan ilmu syar’i, peningkatan kualitas dakwah, serta penguatan ukhuwah dan jaringan antar dai. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Meskipun belum menghasilkan lulusan, terdapat perkembangan signifikan dalam penguasaan ilmu syar’i dan kemampuan berdakwah peserta. Interaksi di lingkungan masjid juga memperkuat ukhuwah di antara mereka. Tantangan terbesar adalah keberlanjutan program hingga lulusannya tercapai serta dukungan lebih luas. Secara keseluruhan, Sekolah Dai Azura menunjukkan potensi besar dalam membentuk dai yang kokoh dalam ilmu, dakwah, dan ukhuwah serta penguatan jaringan antar dai.
