Pelni Logistic has adapted with a digital application namely MyDepo. The use of the MyDepo application in Pelni Logistics operations facilitate reporting and ship route tracking processes and improve the accuracy of the data needed by the company, replacing the previously time-consuming and labor-intensive manual methods. Therefore, this research explores the impact of digital technology development on the logistics industry, especially digital transformation and information technology on operation smoothness. This research using quantitative methods and collecting data through questionnaire surveys for analysis and the method of sampling is simple regression. Data is processed using SPSS tools, and the sample consists of 50 employees from Pelni Logistic offices in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bitung. The findings of this research show that all hypotheses have positive and significant effects, demonstrating the role of digitalization in enhancing operational performance.

Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is a vegetable oil derived from palm fruit pulp. This oil is naturally reddish in color because it contains high amounts of beta-carotene. Port Business Entity (BUP) is a business entity whose activities are specifically in the field of managing Terminals and other Port Facilities. One of the Port Business Entities in the Tanah Paser area is PT. Jaya Investama Terminal. This terminal utilizes the lease of state-owned goods with one of its business activities being the loading and unloading of Crude Palm Oil. (CPO). In its operations, there are various hindering factors that affect timeliness, resulting in suboptimal loading and unloading activities. This research aims to analyze various inhibiting factors affecting activities at the port. The research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method approach. Subsequently, the findings were elaborated using a qualitative approach to observe the actual conditions that occurred during the research period. The data collection technique used is the observation technique. The data analysis used includes the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the research indicate that the construction of additional storage facilities and the expansion of loading and unloading areas at the port are urgently needed to accommodate larger volumes. And the limited human resources in the CPO loading and unloading process also cause problems in the field, resulting in inefficient loading and unloading activities.

The purpose of this study was to determine how much accessibility of Sekupang port in increasing tourist visits to Batam Island. The method used is to use qualitative methods with the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model using four stages, namely; data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The result obtained is that Sekupang Port has a close distance to Singapore but, this port is far from tourist centers in Batam because it is far from urban areas. And the ship route at Sekupang port is still 13 routes, previously there were 20 routes. Therefore, tourist visits through the port of Sekupang are not too crowded because they are inferior to other ports in Batam with locations closer to the city center and tourist attractions, even though the ticket prices offered are the same and the facilities and services themselves have accumulated.
