Abstract

Inventory management is an essential aspect of retail operations that requires accuracy and efficiency, particularly in tracking product quantities and expiration dates. Effective inventory management can be achieved by implementing First In First Out (FIFO) method and a barcode scanning system to simplify recording processes and minimize manual errors. This study designs a web-based inventory management system using the Agile method and the Laravel framework as its foundation, featuring barcode scanning, automatic recording of incoming and outgoing goods, FIFO-based inventory management, and notifications for products approaching their expiration dates. Black Box testing results show that the system successfully improves transaction efficiency, inventory management accuracy, and real-time detection of products nearing expiration, thereby reducing the risk of losses at Toko Rindu Mekkah. In terms of educational implications, this research serves as a practical example of integrating inventory management theory with information technology. It can also be used as instructional material to enrich learning in the fields of information technology and information systems, particularly related to application development, the Agile method, and the implementation of the FIFO concept in digital systems.

Abstract

The internet and teenagers are two interrelated things in the life of modern society. Data from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology shows that the use of the internet among teenagers is mostly used to access social media. This phenomenon is interesting to study because social media is an important space for teenagers to build and express their identity. This study aims to analyze the role of social media in the formation of adolescent identity as well as how adolescents express personal problems in the digital space. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The theoretical frameworks used include Identity Theory, Symbolic Interaction Theory, and Media Ecology Theory. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews with adolescents who actively use social media. The results of the study show that adolescents display diverse identities on social media and tend to express personal problems indirectly or implicitly. Social media plays an important role in the construction of adolescent identity in the digital era.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of digital literacy into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to strengthen religious moderation amid the challenges of the digital era. Religious moderation, defined as a balanced and tolerant approach to faith, faces obstacles from the rapid spread of hate speech, disinformation, and extremist narratives on social media, which exacerbate social polarization. Drawing on indicators such as national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and cultural accommodation, the research argues for revitalizing PAI curricula with digital awareness to equip students with critical thinking and filtering skills for online religious content. Employing a qualitative approach with case studies from Indonesian secondary schools, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving educators and students. Findings reveal that conventional PAI models insufficiently address digital threats, leading to vulnerabilities in youth paradigms. The integration of digital literacy enhances moderation by promoting constructive online interactions and resistance to divisive narratives, resulting in improved inclusivity and harmony. The study recommends policy updates for PAI curricula, including mandatory digital literacy modules, and suggests further research on long-term impacts in diverse educational contexts. This contributes to national efforts in fostering adaptive, moderate religious attitudes for sustainable social cohesion

Abstract

The quality of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) learning in Islamic Junior High Schools (Madrasah Tsanawiyah), particularly at MTs Al-Utsmani Kajen, Pekalongan, faces challenges due to low student interest, who consider fiqh to be repetitive material, and limited infrastructure. This article aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of fiqh teachers in creating active, innovative, creative, effective, and enjoyable learning (PAIKEM). This article uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, involving the principal, Islamic religious education teachers, and students as informants. The results show that fiqh teachers have good pedagogical competence in understanding student characteristics, applying learning theories, developing curricula, and using engaging teaching strategies, such as digital media, to increase student participation. However, limited facilities and low student active involvement hinder the full implementation of PAIKEM. Internal factors, such as teacher motivation and educational background, as well as external factors, including principal support and professional development, significantly influence teaching effectiveness. Strengthening these factors through the integration of technology, contextual strategies, and systemic support is necessary to create meaningful, inspiring Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) learning that is able to shape students' Islamic character in accordance with current demands.

Abstract

This study examines educational inequality in Indonesia, focusing on the most disadvantaged regions, particularly the 3T (terluar, terdepan, tertinggal) areas. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of key policies, such as the Merdeka Curriculum and Indonesia Pintar (PIP) program, and assess the role of digital solutions in addressing disparities in educational access and quality. Despite various government initiatives, educational inequality in Indonesia remains persistent, driven by factors including economic constraints, teacher quality, social exclusion, and regional disparities. The study reveals that although some policies and digital solutions have shown promise, major barriers remain, such as inadequate policy implementation, unequal teacher distribution, poor infrastructure, and limited access to technology, particularly in rural areas. The research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to synthesize existing studies from both international and regional perspectives. The findings highlight significant gaps in educational outcomes between urban and rural students, and within the 3T regions, with disparities in years of schooling, literacy rates, and access to higher education. Additionally, while the use of technology in education presents opportunities for bridging educational gaps, issues like digital illiteracy and limited infrastructure hinder its full implementation. This study offers valuable insights into the challenges and solutions for achieving educational equity in Indonesia and provides evidence-based recommendations for policymakers, educators, and communities working to reduce disparities and improve long-term educational outcomes in remote areas.

Abstract

The integrative-interconnective paradigm in Islamic education emerges as a response to the dichotomy between religious and scientific knowledge. This paper aims to explore the philosophical foundations, epistemological structure, and practical implications of this paradigm in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Using a library research method, this study analyzes various scientific sources, including works by Amin Abdullah, Al-Faruqi, and Al-Attas. Findings show that the integrative-interconnective paradigm encourages the unity of knowledge based on wahdat al-'ilm, which bridges bayani, burhani, and 'irfani epistemologies. This paradigm has been applied in several Islamic higher education institutions, such as UIN Sunan Kalijaga and UIN Jakarta, through curriculum reform, research integration, and the development of interdisciplinary centers. This study concludes that the paradigm offers an epistemological and practical framework that strengthens Islamic education toward holistic and transformative learning.

Abstract

This study investigates the patterns and functions of code-switching (CS) employed by English teachers in an Indonesian preschool setting. In the complex linguistic landscape of Bengkulu, where students navigate multiple local dialects alongside the national language, code-switching serves as a vital pedagogical bridge. The present study is a qualitative case study conducted at TK Essential Education Bengkulu during the 2025/2026 academic year. It was designed to explore how teachers utilize tag-switching, inter-sentential, and intra-sentential switching to maximize a restricted 30-minute instructional window for students with zero prior English exposure. The results revealed that: (1) code-switching is a deliberate scaffolding tool that ensures comprehension and maintains emotional security; (2) inter-sentential switching dominates classroom management, while intra-sentential switching is primarily used for vocabulary building; and (3) the integration of local codes (Melayu Bengkulu, Serawai, Rejang) prevents "subtractive multilingualism" and fosters a culturally responsive learning environment. Furthermore, the findings suggest that the strategic use of L1 (First Language) and regional codes accelerates the transition from receptive to productive language skills in early childhood education.
