Abstract

Learning media is one of the important aspects in a learning process. Learning media can facilitate the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to develop mathematics learning media in the form of number cards. This research is a research and development. The development model used is ADDIE. The subjects of this study were media experts, material experts, class teachers and students. Data were collected using a questionnaire technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study showed that the number card media was declared feasible and practical for use in elementary school mathematics learning. This is evidenced by the results of the feasibility test conducted by media experts and material experts, each of which obtained the category "very feasible". Furthermore, the results of the product practicality test by teachers and students also showed that the product developed in this study was in the category "very practical". Therefore, number card media can be used as an alternative media in elementary school mathematics learning.

Education is created to meet learning standards for the creation of a quality generation that can make the country advanced and create progress in the economic field. In fact, the learning process will not run well without the use of learning media. In this study on the influence of the use of learning media on learning outcomes, a classroom action research method was used with Analyzing activities in the form of cycle I and cycle II activities using quantitative description data collection techniques. With the object of research of elementary school 64 East City in the subject of analyzing the influence of the use of learning media on learning outcomes of social sciences with a research sample of class IV. The results of the pre-cycle activities were only around 41.25%. In cycle I, using learning media in the form of videos actually increased the learning outcomes of social sciences in class IV children by an average of 59.25%. In this cycle II improvement, it actually had an effect on student learning outcomes that increased more than the results obtained previously with results of 81.5%. the positive influence of the use of learning media on the learning outcomes of social sciences of class IV students is greater than the negative influence caused by the use of social science learning media in class IV, namely with a ratio of 70:30. Abstract

This learning model can be developed to be better and can be more useful in biology learning, namely not only in the material of Single Substances and Mixed Substances, but can be applied to other materials that have work activities that can be discussed. The learning outcomes of students taught with the cooperative defense model of the group investigation type increased for each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 55.65, increasing in cycle I to 73.48 and then increasing again in cycle II to 86.08. The classical student completion in the pre-cycle was 8.69%, in cycle I it increased to 47.82% and continued to increase in cycle II to 86.95%. Student activity in learning with the cooperative learning model of the group investigation type increased better for each cycle. Teacher activity during learning with the cooperative learning model of the group investigation type increased in each cycle. The average score of teacher activity in cycle I was 3.94 and was in the good category, increasing in cycle II to 4.5 and was in the very good category.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations and discussions with the class V teacher at sekolah dasar negeri Kajhu Aceh Besar, there were problems found in the science learning process, where students were less interested in the learning process provided by the teacher, such as a lack of student activity in searching for and finding new information to solve problems. Therefore, it is necessary to actively involve students in learning. This research aims to determine the application of the environmental approach assisted by realia media to improve student learning outcomes in class V science learning at the Kajhu State Elementary School, Aceh Besar. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests, the data analysis techniques used use the percentage formula. The results of the research showed that teacher activity in cycle I obtained a percentage of 77.88% in the good category, cycle II experienced an increase of 88.46% in the very good category. Student activities in cycle I obtained a percentage score of 80.76 in the good category, increasing in cycle II to 89.42% in the very good category. The increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 52.63% in the poor category, and in the second cycle there was an increase of 90.47% in the very good category. So it can be concluded that the application of an environmental approach assisted by realia media can improve student learning outcomes at the Kajhu State Elementary School, Aceh Besar.

Abstract

This study focused on the role of school-society collaboration in the development of primary schools, emphasizing its influence on educational outcomes and community advancement. It provides an overview of school-society collaboration, tracing its historical evolution and theoretical foundations, while highlighting its significance in fostering robust educational frameworks. The study identifies key stakeholders—families, local communities, governments, private sector entities, and NGOs—and examines their contributions to the collaborative ecosystem. Mechanisms facilitating collaboration, such as parent-teacher associations, community programs, and partnerships with local businesses, are analyzed to illustrate their impact on educational improvement. The benefits of such collaboration include enhanced student performance, social and emotional development, and strengthened community identity and cohesion. However, challenges such as socioeconomic barriers, communication gaps, and policy-related constraints are acknowledged, necessitating targeted interventions. Recommendations focus on strengthening partnerships, promoting inclusivity, developing sustainable models, and building stakeholder capacity to ensure effective collaboration. This study highlighted the importance of integrating collective responsibility in advancing primary education and fostering a shared commitment to societal development.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate how to implement character education in elementary schools using an ecological approach. The approach applied is qualitative research. Data was obtained from observation, interviews and document research. Research finds that the best way to implement character education is to create a conducive school environment, integrate character values in learning, involve parents and the community, utilize the natural environment, and develop character-based extracurricular programs. By considering the relationship between students and the surrounding environment, the implementation of character education in elementary schools can be effective through an ecological approach. The results of the study show that the implementation of character education using an ecological approach in elementary schools provides a comprehensive and contextual framework. This method allows schools to create a comprehensive learning environment, where characters are not only taught in theory but also practiced in various everyday situations by students.
