Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of digital skills, internship experience, and future time perspective on the work readiness of vocational school students at Padang State University. This study is a causal study using a quantitative approach, which examines the relationship between variables and the object being studied in terms of cause and effect or problems in the study. The population consists of all active vocational school students at UNP who are in their 6th semester or higher, totaling 537 individuals. The sampling technique was based on specific criteria, namely students in their 6th semester or higher who had completed an internship. The sample size was calculated using the Slovin formula, resulting in 100 respondents, distributed proportionally across each program of study. A questionnaire was used to collect information, which was then evaluated using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. According to the data, digital skills, internship experience, and future time perspective have a significant impact on students' work readiness. With an adjusted R-square value of 0.282, these three variables explain 28.2% of vocational school students' work readiness at UNP, with the remaining percentage influenced by other factors not covered in this study.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of organizational engagement on business network expansion among young entrepreneurs in the BPD HIPMI Central Java. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data from 133 active members selected via purposive sampling were processed using simple linear regression analysis. Preliminary evaluations confirmed that all research instruments achieved high validity and reliability. Furthermore, classical assumption tests verified that the data followed a normal distribution, remaining free from multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. Statistical results yielded the regression equation Y=3.746+0.705X, with a t-value of 23.450 significantly exceeding the t-table of 1.65639 (p<0.05). These findings demonstrate a robust positive correlation, proving that active participation within an organization substantially enhances business networking capabilities. An Adjusted R Square of 0.808 indicates that organizational involvement accounts for 80.8% of the variance in network development, while external factors influence the remaining 19.2%. Ultimately, this research underscores that intensive organizational commitment serves as a primary catalyst for young entrepreneurs to cultivate productive and sustainable business ecosystems within HIPMI Central Java.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how Liquidity, Leverage, Activity Ratio, and Good Corporate Governance Influence Financial Distress among basic industrial and chemical companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) during the 2020–2024 period. Financial distress refers to a severe financial condition in which a company faces difficulties in fulfilling its obligations, including the payment of debts, interest, and operational costs. In this study, financial distress is assessed using the Springate model, where a score below 0.862 indicates that a company is experiencing distress. The study adopts a quantitative method and relies on secondary data. From a total population of 67 companies, 54 firms were selected as the final sample after the outlier screening process. The sampling method applied is purposive sampling, and the data are analyzed using panel data regression with EViews 12 software. The findings reveal that liquidity has a negative and statistically significant impact on financial distress, while leverage shows a positive and significant effect. The activity ratio is found to have a negative and significant influence, whereas Good Corporate Governance demonstrates a positive but statistically insignificant effect. Simultaneously, all four independent variables significantly affect financial distress. These results highlight the crucial role of maintaining adequate liquidity, managing debt levels, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening corporate governance practices to reduce the risk of financial distress

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of consumer interest in PayLater services in Indonesia by leveraging big data from Google Trends for the 2023–2025 period. Using a qualitative approach that integrates spatial analysis and Python-based predictive modeling, this research aims to map temporal search patterns, the geographical distribution of adoption, and the socio-economic factors influencing consumer preference toward three major platforms: Kredivo, Akulaku, and Shopee PayLater. The methodology includes time-series analysis, provincial-level geospatial mapping, and forecasting using the Facebook Prophet algorithm. The findings reveal that PayLater search interest is cyclical, with significant spikes during e-commerce campaigns, public holidays, and monthly payday cycles. Spatially, a sharp adoption disparity exists between urban areas and regions with limited digital infrastructure. Kredivo exhibits the most balanced regional distribution, while Akulaku is heavily concentrated in West Java, and Shopee PayLater shows strong penetration in non-Java regions. The forecasting results project sustained growth in interest through 2027, providing strategic implications for fintech companies in expanding digital financial inclusion across Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Marketing Knowledge Management (MKM) and Digital Media Innovation on SME Performance within the context of digital economic transformation in Indonesia. The research is motivated by the growing need for digitalization among small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which is often constrained by limited knowledge management capabilities and uneven technological innovation adoption. A quantitative associative approach was employed, utilizing primary data collected through questionnaires from 100 SME owners in West Java Province. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to test the relationships among variables. The results indicate that digital media innovation has a positive and significant effect on SME performance, while MKM does not show a direct significant impact, although it may exert an indirect influence through digital innovation. These findings reinforce the Resource-Based View and Dynamic Capability Theory, emphasizing that knowledge-based and technology-driven innovation constitute key strategic resources for enhancing competitive advantage among SMEs. Theoretically, this research contributes to expanding the understanding of the synergistic relationship between marketing knowledge management and digital innovation in improving business performance. Practically, the study implies that SMEs should strengthen their digital capabilities and integrate knowledge management strategies with digital innovation practices to achieve sustainable growth in a knowledge-driven economy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the gap between the performance of the marine and fisheries sector and subnational fiscal capacity, and to formulate an institutional framework for integrating blue finance instruments into the provincial budgeting system (APBD) of North Sulawesi. An explanatory sequential mixed‑methods design was employed. The quantitative phase applied descriptive analysis and simple linear regression to time‑series data (2021–2025) from Statistics Indonesia and fiscal reports to assess the relationship between fisheries exports, sectoral GDP, and local own‑source revenue. The qualitative phase used thematic analysis of regional development plans, fiscal policy documents, and academic literature on sustainable finance to identify regulatory, institutional, and financial constraints. The results reveal a development paradox: although fisheries exports grew rapidly (CAGR ≈ 10.4% during 2021–2024) and showed a strong positive correlation with sectoral GDP, this growth did not translate into higher fiscal autonomy, as more than 60.48% of regional revenue still originated from central government transfers. Based on these findings, the study proposes a Blue Economy Financing Framework that combines marine asset valuation, bankable project identification, and innovative instruments such as municipal blue bonds and environmental impact bonds to expand fiscal space and support sustainable marine‑based development.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of board diversity (age, gender, educational background, and nationality) on sustainable development in 44 companies included in the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) from 2021 to 2024. Using panel data regression analysis (176 observations) in Eviews 12, the Fixed Effect Model was selected as the best estimation model. The test results show that, simultaneously, diversity in age, gender, education, and nationality has a significant effect on sustainability development. Partially, age diversity has a significantly negative effect and gender diversity has a siginificantly positive effect, while education andnationality factors do not show a siginificant effect. The model records a coefficient of determination of 0,064, indicating that board diversity is a statistically siginificant factor, even though sustainability policies are also influenced by other external variables outside the model. These findings confirm the important role of board demographics in strengthening SDGs commitments in thesharia sector.
