Sasaran J-ABDIMAS - Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang ditertbitkan dan dikelola oleh Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P2M) Politeknik Negeri Malang. J-ABDIMAS diharapakan mampu menjadi media publikasi seluruh civitas akademika terkait dengan hasil inovasi dan solusi dalam berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Cakupan J-ABDIMAS berisi publikasi hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang bersifat strategis, tepat guna, implementatif dari ilmu pengetahuan terutama bagi penerapan bisnis. Abstract

The training on creating UMKM Blogspots aims to help rural communities improve their economy. Local community potential can be marketed digitally. Digital marketing can save capital and expand market reach. Digital marketing can utilize blogspots. Blogspot is a platform with several advantages. Namely, it is easy to access, does not require significant costs, and people can learn it easily. Through this training, people can manage blogspots to promote Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) products. Some of these products include agricultural products, handicrafts, and regional food products. This training activity provides education on the use of blogspots as a means of online marketing media. In addition, the training also studies basic e-commerce techniques, such as product photos, writing descriptions, and content management. This aims to optimize blogspots as a means of promotion so that product marketing has a broader reach. UMKM blogspots can increase community income and foster sustainable digital skills. UMKM blogspots can be a flexible and easy-to-manage promotional tool that people can use independently. This training produces personal UMKM blogspots. More than half of the forum participants can understand the training material. This proves that UMKM owners have quite a lot of enthusiasm for learning Blogspot.

Abstract

Awareness of the importance of protecting the environment should not only be owned by everyone, both adults and children. Environmental education in elementary school is crucial because it is at this stage that children begin to understand the values of life and the importance of their role in keeping the environment clean. Currently, SD MI Nurul Huda Pasir Putih is committed to raising environmental awareness among students as part of character education. Based on the team's observation, the school does not yet have a structured special education program on waste management and environmental awareness. Most environmental learning activities are still general in nature and do not focus on concrete actions that can be applied by students in their daily lives. In addition, the school also faces limitations in terms of resources and learning materials that support environmental education programs. This activity was initiated to provide students with a deeper knowledge and understanding of the importance of keeping the environment clean, as well as teaching them how to manage waste properly. It is hoped that students can apply this knowledge in their daily lives and become agents of change in their neighborhood. The stages of this activity are preparation and survey, material delivery and interactive activities, documentation, evaluation, feedback collection, reporting, and follow-up. The team hopes that similar activities can be carried out in other schools, even from an early childhood education level.

Abstract

Lack of education and knowledge about mental illness in Indonesia leads to wrong handling of its sufferers. To raise public awareness epescially for orphan, there is a need for an educational medium that is easily accessible and attractive. One solution is to use games, because this medium is more interesting and interactive. A visual novel game with a light storyline and interesting characters can provide education on how to deal with people with potential mental illness. This game uses fuzzy logic to generate different endings based on the player's dialogue choices. The results of the test on 53 respondents showed an average interpretation of 87.36% on the Likert scale, which indicates that this game is highly accepted by users.

Abstract

The various products offered by online-based businesses certainly bring challenges to catch consumers' attention. Understanding the importance of a product's appearance (product visual) in high competition opens the eyes of businessmen who want to get involved in online businesses that require thorough preparation, one of which is the aspect of the product's visual appearance displayed on the online platform used. One of the main focuses of this community service is aligned with the needs of partners is to develop the market by trying to expand through the marketplace, so the service team maximizes resources and efforts to be able to help maximize the application of product visuals to strengthen the products offered in the online platform so they can attract the attention of online shopping lovers to look for further product information from the existence of aesthetic product images. The method used in this community service activity is assistance starting from determining the appropriate concept, selecting product variants that are superior products, and consulting with photography experts to get product photos that contain photography/aesthetics aspects. The result of this community service is some photos of the product that are ready to be uploaded on a social media or marketplace platform.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan pompa air listrik tenaga surya atau berbasis panel surya jalan adalah inovasi yang tepat guna merupakan hasil rekayasa energi surya (matahari) yang dikonversi menjadi energi listrik, dan disimpan dalam baterai yang nantinya dijadikan sumber daya untuk pompa air. Keuntungan menggunakan tenaga surya ialah tidak terpengaruh ketika suplai dari listrik PLN padam, karena energi yang digunakan adalah energi panas dari matahari serta tidak perlu lagi menarik sumber listrik dari jaringan listrik PLN. Selain itu, penggunaannya bisa menjangkau area yang jauh dari sumber listrik PLN. Pada dasarnya, penerapan pompa air listrik tenaga surya di desa Mulyoagung untuk tanaman hidroponik dikarenakan banyak tempat yang agak jauh dari sumber listrik PLN, sehingga dapat menggangu kontinuitas aliran air dalam perawatan tanaman hidroponik. Latar belakang masyarakat di wilayah ini di bidang pertanian, mulai mengembangkan ke tanaman hidroponik karena ke praktisannya baik dari segi biaya maupun lahan, sehingga penggunaan pompa air tenaga surya saling melengkapi dari segi tersebut. Dengan adanya pemanfaatan pompa air tenaga surya dapat memberikan kemudahan perawatan tanaman hidroponik.

Abstract

Penerapan pompa air listrik berbasis energi surya pada kolam ikan di Dusun Klandungan, Kabupaten Malang. Melibatkan pendekatan berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan, pemasangan berfokus pada penggunaan energi surya sebagai sumber daya utama untuk mengoperasikan pompa air dalam rangka meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan kolam ikan. Proses implementasi melibatkan pemasangan panel surya sebagai solusi energi terbarukan yang dapat mengonversi sinar matahari menjadi listrik. Dengan demikian, kolam ikan mendapatkan pasokan air secara teratur tanpa bergantung pada sumber daya listrik konvensional. Pompa ini tidak hanya mengatasi keterbatasan daya listrik di daerah tersebut, tetapi juga mengurangi ketergantungan pada sumber energi non terbarukan. Informasi teknis praktis akan diberikan kepada warga untuk mengelola dan memelihara sistem ini, sehingga mereka dapat merasakan manfaatnya dalam jangka panjang. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berpotensi memberikan contoh bagi masyarakat setempat tentang penerapan teknologi berbasis energi surya untuk keberlanjutan pertanian dan akuakultur. Dengan cara ini, kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat langsung pada tingkat lokal, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesadaran dan adopsi teknologi berkelanjutan di komunitas yang lebih luas. Evaluasi akan dilakukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas penggunaan pompa air listrik energi surya ini.

Abstract

SLB Autis Laboratorium UM is a school that is specifically designed to educate students with disabilities, especially autism. In the learning process, teachers often face difficulties in providing effective learning materials. This ineffectiveness is caused because the material delivered is dominated by text and verbal explanations, where students are less able to digest the information delivered using this method. Based on the results of partner observations, students tend to be more receptive to information in audio-visual form. The use of creative learning media in the form of game applications is considered to be able to provide a solution to this problem. Therefore, an educational game was designed which is expected to help improve the quality of learning and create a more interesting learning experience.

Abstract

This community service activity focused on improving the learning environment at Nurul Hikmah Foundation, located in Rebalas Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency. By providing technical assistance for ceramic tile installation on the foundation's terrace, we aimed to create a comfortable and attractive outdoor learning space for the children. The installation of ceramic tiles not only enhanced the aesthetics of space but also created a safe and stimulating environment for the young learners. This intervention is expected to positively impact on student engagement, academic performance, and overall school experience at Nurul Hikmah Foundation

Abstract

Tim Pengabdian Politeknik Negeri Malang melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Dusun Petungsewu, Desa Duwet, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang dengan mitra UMKM Kerupuk J&R. Kerupuk J&R, merupakan salah satu contoh usaha yang memiliki potensi besar namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek legalitas produk. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada UMKM Kerupuk J&R tentang pentingnya faktor pendukung usaha, khususnya legalitas dan manajemen usaha, melalui pendampingan dalam pengurusan legalitas agar bisnis dapat berkembang secara berkelanjutan. Metode yang diterapkan pada pelaksanaan program kegiatan pengabdian ini dibagi menjadi dua tahapan utama, yaitu tahap persiapan (pra-pendampingan) dan tahap pelaksanaan (pendampingan). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di Desa Petungsewu, Duwet, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang melibatkan pelaku UMKM yang menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi melalui partisipasi aktif. Meskipun hasil keseluruhan belum terlihat, manfaat yang dirasakan adalah peningkatan wawasan dan kesadaran tentang pentingnya legalitas produk.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase production and sales capacity in MSMEs J&R Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. J&R MSMEs are facing bottlenecks in the drying and sorting process of cassava chip dough, which leads to low production capacity. The solution offered is to make a drying device (oven) with a capacity of 100 kg/hour and a roll system dough filer. In addition, training was provided on packaging and marketing products with new logos to increase sales. The method used in this program is intensive training and mentoring. The result of this service has a significant impact on J&R MSMES. Increased production capacity from 50 kg/hour to 100 kg/hour after the use of new equipment, as well as improved product quality through a more consistent drying process. In addition, packaging and marketing training successfully increased the attractiveness of products in the local market and expanded the sales reach. With the new logo, J&R's MSME products are better known, and sales turnover increased by about 15% in the months following the implementation of the program.
