Abstract

This study aims to identify, analyze, and understand in depth the challenges in the development of the Islamic jurisprudence curriculum faced by Madrasah Diniyah Takniliyah Miftahussa'adah, Banjarwinangun Village, Petanahan District, Kebumen Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach carried out by taking data sources from the principal, teachers and students of MDT Miftahussa'adah through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, validated by source triangulation, then analyzed interactively. The results of the study indicate that MDT Miftahussa'adah faces challenges in learning methods that are not yet innovative, teacher and student discipline, student interest and motivation in learning, facilities and infrastructure, and curriculum factors. These various challenges require innovative strategies so that Islamic religious education remains relevant and attractive to the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of motivation on interest in continuing studies at university at MAN 2 Kebumen; (2) determine the effect of student willingness on interest in continuing studies at university at MAN 2 Kebumen; (3) determine the effect of family environment on interest in continuing studies at university at MAN 2 Kebumen; and (4) determine the effect of school environment on interest in continuing studies at university at MAN 2 Kebumen. This study used a quantitative approach. The population in the study were all grade XII students of MAN 2 Kebumen, while the sample used was 80 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, hypothesis testing through t-tests and f-tests, and coefficient of determination (R2) analysis using SPSS. The results showed that the motivation variable had a significant effect on student interest with a calculated t-value of 6.955 > 1.665. The student willingness variable had a significant effect with a calculated t-value of 3.250 > 1.665. The family environment variable has a significant effect with a calculated t value of 2.348 > 1.665. While the school environment variable has a significant effect with a calculated t value of 2.736 > 1.665. Based on the determination coefficient value of 0.93, which means that 93% of student interest is influenced by the variables of motivation, student willingness, family environment, and school environment, while the remaining 7% is influenced by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

Strategi Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dalam Membentuk Karakter Santri TPQ Al Mutohar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Nilai-nilai pendidikan Al-Qur’an dalam membentuk karakter santri di TPQ Al Mutohar. 2) Strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam TPQ Al Mutohar untuk membentuk karakter santri.Penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah pemilik TPQ, pengajar TPQ, dan juga santri-santri TPQ Al Mutohar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan adalah kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan di TPQ Al Mutohar meliputi disiplin, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan sopan santun, yang diinternalisasi melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan guru, dan suasana religius yang mendukung. 2) Strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan di TPQ Al Mutohar mencakup metode talaqqi, pembiasaan sikap positif, dan pendekatan emosional, yang secara efektif membentuk karakter santri dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung perkembangan akhlak mulia.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To identify the steps in implementing the Jigsaw method in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject for Grade 10 at SMK Teknologi Informasi Karangtanjung Kebumen; and (2) To identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the Jigsaw method in the same subject and setting. This research is a qualitative study. The subjects are the Islamic Education teacher and Grade 10 students at SMK TI. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results show that: (1) The learning process consists of three main stages: opening, core, and closing activities. The teacher begins by providing motivation and an introductory activity, then implements the Jigsaw method based on pre-arranged steps. In the final stage, the teacher provides a summary and conducts an evaluation through a written test. This method has proven effective in enhancing student learning outcomes; (2) Supporting factors include increased student participation and responsibility, improved communication and social skills, equal understanding of the material, and an enjoyable learning experience. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include limited time, inadequate facilities, limited teacher competence, differences in students' academic abilities and participation, and the incompatibility of some materials with the Jigsaw method.

Abstract

This study aims to determine menstruation according to the Risalatul Mahid book and the implementation of Risalatul Mahid learning at the An-Nahdlah Islamic Boarding School (Islamic State Islamic University) in Kebumen. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the caretaker of the boarding school, who is also a teacher of the Risalatul Mahid book, and female students. The results show that Risalatul Mahid learning was carried out using the bandongan and question-and-answer method, accompanied by religious habits such as reciting the Asmaul Husna before learning and praying the Kafarotul Majelis prayer at the end. The implementation of this learning has been proven to improve understanding of women's jurisprudence, although there are still obstacles such as differences in literacy skills in the yellow book and the passive attitude of some female students. Thus, this learning plays a significant role in fostering knowledge, discipline, and awareness of worship among female students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the learning interest of fourth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 4 Tamanwinangun Kebumen. Learning interest is a crucial factor in the success of the educational process, as students with higher interest are more likely to understand, internalize, and practice the knowledge they acquire. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that fourth-grade students generally show a strong interest in PAI learning. This is reflected in their regular attendance, active participation in classroom discussions, attentiveness to the teacher’s explanations, and enthusiastic involvement during lessons. Factors influencing learning interest include internal aspects, such as motivation, readiness, and emotional condition; external aspects, such as parental support, teaching methods, school environment, and peer influence; as well as learning approaches, both affective and practical. The study concludes that students’ learning interest significantly contributes to their understanding of PAI material. With strong interest, students not only gain accurate knowledge of Islamic teachings but also develop religious attitudes, tolerance, and the ability to practice Islamic values in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming student delinquency at SMK Ma'arif 4 Kebumen, as well as to determine the level of success of these efforts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved Islamic Religious Education teachers, Guidance and Counseling teachers, and students majoring in Industrial Mechanical Engineering as subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers include preventive measures (advice, teaching discipline through memorization), curative (advice, educational punishment, summons to the BK room, teacher approaches with students for minor delinquency; reprimands, discussions with parents and authorities, regular supervision for serious delinquency), and religious formation. The achievement of these efforts is significant, marked by students who are calmer, enjoy learning, and open to teachers, although behavioral changes require periodic time

Abstract

This Study aims to describe the strategies implemented by the administrators of Pondok Pesantren Miftahul ‘Ulum Wonoyoso Kebumen in addressing bullying among students( santri). Bullying has become a serious concern in islamic boarding schools as it may hinder the mental, social, and spiritual development of the students. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth intervieuws with administrators, caretskers, and students, as well as documentation. The data analysis process consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that bullying at the pesantren occurs in various forms, including verbal, physical, and psychological bullying. The strategies adopted by the administrators include providing individual counseling, fostering moral character through religious activities, enforcing rules and educational sanctions, mediating conflcts among students, and strengthening supervision within the boarding school environment. These strategies were proven effective in reducing the frequency of bullying cases furher recommends enhancing persuarsive approaches and axpanding chararter-building programs as preventive measures for the future.

Abstract

The objectives of the study are: (1) to determine the effect of learning media on the PAI learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo. (2) to determine the effect of digital literacy on the PAI learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo. (3) to determine the effect of learning media and digital literacy together on the PAI learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo. This study uses a correlational quantitative research approach. This study consists of two independent variables, namely learning media (X1), digital literacy (X2), and one dependent variable, namely students' PAI learning outcomes (Y). The data collection technique uses a questionnaire instrument. The research population was 253 students, while the research sample was 146 students. Before conducting the hypothesis test using simple regression and multiple regression, the validity and reliability of the instrument were tested and the analysis requirements were tested, including data normality and data linearity tests. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) Learning Media has a significant effect on the PAI Learning Outcomes of Students of SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo, as evidenced by the Sig value = 0.000 < α = 0.050, and the correlation coefficient value (r2) = 0.396 or contributes 39.6%. (2) Digital Literacy has a significant effect on the PAI Learning Outcomes of Students of SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo, as evidenced by the Sig value = 0.000 < α = 0.050, and the correlation coefficient value (r2) = 0.424 or only contributes 42.4%. (3) Learning Media and Digital Literacy together have a significant effect on the PAI Learning Outcomes of Students of SMP Negeri 10 Purworejo, as evidenced by the Sig value = 0.000 < α = 0.050, and the correlation coefficient value (R2) = 0.475 or contributes 47.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in fostering and strengthening attitudes of tolerance among students of different religious backgrounds within the school environment. The method used is a literature study. The research findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education plays a significant role in shaping tolerant attitudes in schools. IRE teachers act as role models as well as educators who convey the values of tolerance to students.The implementation of tolerance values within the school reflects the diversity of the surrounding community and highlights the importance of education in instilling mutual respect among followers of different religions. Therefore, this study recommends that the Islamic Religious Education curriculum be further strengthened to cultivate a young generation that values tolerance and lives in harmony.In addition, support from parents and the wider community is essential in creating inclusive religious education that prioritizes tolerance values. Thus, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more meaningful religious education with a positive impact on the social life of the community.
