Abstract

Bouquets have evolved from mere flower arrangements into a work of art that combines elements of aesthetics, creativity, and innovation. This study aims to examine bouquets as an art form by highlighting aesthetic elements, arrangement techniques, and their role in the creative industry. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach from various relevant journal references and articles. The results of the study indicate that bouquets not only have aesthetic value but also reflect artistic expression through the selection of colors, shape compositions, and various arrangement techniques. Innovations in making bouquets, such as the use of flannel, snacks, and recycled materials, are expanding the scope of bouquet art in the creative industry. In addition, bouquet art also contributes to the development of the community's economy through increasing business opportunities. Although bouquet art faces challenges such as market competition and fluctuations in raw material prices, its prospects remain promising with the development of technology and product personalization trends. Therefore, continuous innovation is needed so that bouquet art remains relevant and can continue to develop as part of the wider creative industry.

Abstract

This study examines the digital transformation of the creative arts industry, focusing on how technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) have altered the creation and marketing of artworks. Digital platforms have expanded market access for artists, opened new opportunities for more efficient business models with lower costs, and created greater possibilities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. In this context, digital technologies allow artists to reach a global audience and sell their works in more innovative and interactive formats, increasing audience participation in the creative process. However, these developments also face significant challenges, such as increasingly intense competition, rapidly shifting trends, and limitations in resources to optimally implement these technologies. Furthermore, while there are significant opportunities in the global market, some artists in Indonesia still face difficulties in accessing and utilizing the latest technologies. With the creative economy contributing 7.16% to Indonesia's GDP in 2018, this study aims to provide an overview of the dynamics of the arts industry in the digital era and explore potential strategies to support the development of a more adaptable creative ecosystem. These strategies include digital training, strengthening cross-sector collaboration, and enhancing digital infrastructure to facilitate the future growth of the creative arts industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by the Regional National Crafts Council (DEKRANASDA) in Samosir Regency in developing local craft products and enhancing their competitiveness. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that DEKRANASDA has applied the elements of the marketing mix, including product, price, place, and promotion. However, several significant challenges persist, particularly in terms of limited promotional media and intense market competition. One major obstacle is the insufficient utilization of digital media as a marketing tool, which results in a limited market reach. Furthermore, product innovation needs to be improved to better align with consumer preferences and current market trends. Therefore, this study recommends that DEKRANASDA develop a digital-based marketing strategy, such as utilizing social media, e-commerce platforms, and an official website to enhance promotional reach. Additionally, innovation in design, raw materials, and product variations should be undertaken to attract consumers and compete in a broader market. This research provides important insights into the development of more effective marketing strategies to increase the income and competitiveness of craft products in Samosir Regency.

Abstract

Social media has become an effective marketing tool for young artists to introduce and promote their work to a broader audience. This study aims to analyze social media marketing strategies that can enhance the visibility and sales of artistic works. The research employs a literature review approach with content analysis of relevant studies published between 2018 and 2024. The findings indicate that effective social media marketing strategies for young artists consist of three main aspects: personal branding, algorithm optimization, and monetization strategies. Strong personal branding through visual consistency and storytelling has been proven to increase audience engagement and strengthen artists’ competitiveness on digital platforms. In terms of algorithm optimization, the use of short-form videos, consistent posting frequency, and SEO implementation play a vital role in expanding the reach of artistic content. Meanwhile, monetization strategies such as the utilization of e-commerce platforms, subscription-based models, and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) have proven effective in converting audience engagement into a more stable source of income. This study contributes to the development of digital marketing literature within the creative industry and serves as a practical guide for young artists in optimizing social media as a marketing tool. The findings also provide a foundation for the development of more effective and adaptive digital marketing strategies in response to the dynamic and evolving trends of the creative industry.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, fashion accessories are no longer limited to functional purposes but have evolved into instruments of personal and cultural expression. Wallets, as one of the most widely used accessories, are now experiencing a shift in design orientation toward cultural values. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of culturally designed wallets as an emerging modern trend through a comprehensive literature review. The research explores various academic and industry sources published between 2018 and 2024 to understand how cultural elements are integrated into wallet designs and how these influence consumer preferences. The study identifies three primary factors that drive consumer interest in culturally themed wallets: aesthetic value, sustainability, and innovation. Aesthetic value refers to the visual and symbolic appeal of cultural motifs, which resonate with consumers seeking uniqueness and identity. Sustainability reflects the growing awareness among younger generations—especially Millennials and Gen Z—regarding ethical consumption and the use of eco-friendly materials. Innovation in design, such as the fusion of traditional patterns with modern functionality, also plays a crucial role in maintaining market relevance. The findings suggest that culturally inspired wallets have a distinctive market niche, appealing to consumers who value both cultural heritage and modern fashion sensibilities. Moreover, these products support the preservation and promotion of local culture in the context of global commerce. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on culture-based product development and provides insights for stakeholders in the creative industry to enhance product innovation, cultural storytelling, and market competitiveness in the global fashion landscape.

Abstract

Art cannot be separated from human life, including in the stages of childhood development. In addition to having aesthetic values, art also plays an important role in inspiring children's creativity and imagination. Early Childhood Education (PAUD), as a pioneer in the national education process, has a role in developing children's potential from various aspects, such as cognitive, language, art, morals, religion, movement, and socio-emotional. One important aspect in children's physical development is motor development, both gross and fine motor skills. One form of effective stimulus in developing children's motor skills is through learning dance. Dance provides space for children to practice body movement coordination, balance, and muscle strength, while stimulating self-expression. The basic elements in dance, such as movement, energy, space, and time, play an important role in supporting children's creativity in expressing themselves through body movements. Therefore, dance is one of the effective media in supporting children's motor development and creativity as a whole.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is a program under the Merdeka Curriculum that should be implemented routinely, in a structured manner, and with supportive conditions from all parties involved. This study aims to explore the challenges faced by educational institutions in implementing the P5 program, serving as an evaluation reference for improving educational success. Using a qualitative research method with interviews, this study involves validation and verification from relevant stakeholders and educators who directly experience the situation in the field. The data collected is based on direct communication with teachers and field observations, which are then analyzed and presented in a descriptive format. The findings reveal several significant challenges that affect the effectiveness of the P5 program, including issues related to understanding and implementation, as well as inadequate infrastructure and facilities. However, this study primarily evaluates the effectiveness and productivity of the Merdeka Curriculum without directly measuring its success. Therefore, further in-depth research is recommended to achieve higher validity and a more comprehensive understanding of the program’s impact.
