Abstract

Hepatitis merupakan penyakit peradangan pada organ hati yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah infeksi virus. Virus Hepatitis C (VHC) merupakan salah satu virus dengan genom RNA yang dapat menyebabkan infeksi pada sel-sel hati (hepatosit) yang dapat menular melalui darah. VHC memiliki berbagai genotipe yang tersebar di berbagai belahan bumi yang telah teridentifikasi dan terklasifikasi. VHC tersusun atas berbagai protein yang merupakan hasil ekspresi RNA VHC. Protein tersebut terdiri atas protein struktural maupun non-struktural yang memiliki fungsi masing-masing, khususnya pada saat menginfeksi sel inang. Protein-protein VHC tersebut dapat menginisiasi sistem pertahanan tubuh sehingga timbul respon imum tubuh terhadap VHC. Genom VHC dapat mengalami mutasi sehingga mempu menghindari respon imun inangnya. Kegagalan respon imun tubuh untuk mengeliminasi VHC menyebabkan kerusakan pada sel-sel hati hingga berpotensi mengalami sirosis bahkan kanker. Ko-ifeksi VHC dengan infeksi mikroorganisme lainnya atau bahan-bahan lainnya yang dapat menurunkan fungsi normal organ hati dapat memperparah perjalanan penyakit hati. Variasi genetik dan kecepatan VHC untuk bermutasi menyebabkan sulitnya memperoleh vaksin yang tepat untuk virus tersebut, sehingga berpotensi menjadi penyakit yang bersifat silent epidemic.

Abstract

Bawang dayak (Eleutherine bulbosa (Mill.)urb) is one of plants of Central Kalimantan. Empirically, Bawang dayak is used to treat skin problems, one of them is acne vulgaris, so that it is necessary to test the inhibition of ethanolic extract of Bawang Dayak against acne causing such as P.acnes. In the pharmaceutical world there is still no research conducted on the manufacture of antiacne cream contain ethanolic extract of Bawang Dayak bulbs, so the researchers conducted it to improve the efficiency of the use of traditional medicine. The results of phytochemical screening showed that ethanolic extract of bawang dayak contained flavonoid, alkaloid, saponin, tanin and catechol with the inhibition zone classified as moderate activity at the concentration of 1% and weak activity at other concentrations (5%, 10% and 15%). Based on the evalution of cream preparations the results of the organoleptic test for antuacne cream have a dark brown color and distinctive odor, homogen for homogeneity test, adhesion test and dispersion test according to the requirements and the pH observation showed ph (6) suitable for topical application. Based on these results, the evaluation antiacne cream fulfills the physical test, but it needs to be developed further for stability and effectiveness of antiacne cream against the bacteria acnes causing.

Abstract

In Indonesia, it is not uncommon to find children who suffer from fever which can occur due to the change of weather from the rainy season during the dry season or vice versa. Communities in rural areas generally use onion (Allium ascalonicum L) to relieve fever in children. Cream preparations are made by varying the concentration of the emulgator to determine the effect of different concentrations of the emulgator on the physical characteristics of the cream preparation. The emulgator used is tween 80 and span 60 with a concentration of Formula 1: 3.5%, Formula 2: 3.75%, formula 3: 4%. Physical evaluations carried out in this study were organoleptic, pH, homogeneity, cream washability, cream type, viscosity, spreadability, adhesion, and freeze-thaw tests. The results of the study it can be concluded that the differences in the concentration of the emulgator can affect the physical characteristics of the cream preparation, namely in the spreading test and the adhesion test shows that F3 (4%) can reduce the spreadability of the cream preparation but can be attached to a long time when compared to F1 (3.5%) and F2 (3.75%). The physically optimal cream preparation formula is F1 and F2 because it meets all the requirements in the evaluation test. Keywords: Cream, onion, emulgator, physical characteristics

Abstract

Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) merupakan program Pemerintah Indonesia yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Dalam menjalankan program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN), tenaga kesehatan mempunyai peran penting bagi rumah sakit. Upaya untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut tidak terlepas dari terpenuhinya kepuasan kerja pegawai rumah sakit yang berperan dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pasien. Oleh karena itu, kepuasan kerja tenaga kesehatan sangatlah berpengaruh terhadap kinerja rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepuasan kerja tenaga Apoteker dalam menjalankan program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) di RSDI Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftif yang menjelaskan tentang kepuasan kerja tenaga kesehatan (Apoteker). Aspek kepuasan kerja yang diukur adalah kepuasan terhadap beban kerja dan kepuasan terhadap insentif yang diperoleh. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada Bulan Juni 2019. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling sebanyak 9 orang Apoteker. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 100% responden merasa puas terhadap beban pekerjaannya dan 88,99% responden merasa tidak puas tehadap insentif yang diperoleh. Kata Kunci : Kepuasan Kerja, Apoteker, Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the second ranked countries in the world consuming the most instant noodles. This product is liked by all people, especially pregnant women, so research is needed to determine the effect of consumption of instant noodles on fetal development. This study uses mice as a test animal. The purpose of this study was to determine the teratogenic effects of instant noodle cooking water on pregnant mice (Mus musculus L.) concentrations of 30%, 50%, and 70% based on morphological observations of fetal mice during pregnancy. This research is experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD) method using 60 experimental female mice in pregnancy divided into 10 groups, 1 group was given aquadest as a control group and 9 groups were given instant noodle cooking water in 3 different brands with a concentration of 30% , 50%, and 70% given on the 6th day of pregnancy until the 15th day of pregnancy. Then on the 18th day female mice were sacrificed by dislocation of the neck to see the teratogenic effects based on morphology in the fetus. The results of the statistical test showed that there were differences in the average number of dead fetuses in each group (p = 0.05), differences in body weight (p = 0.0001), and body length (p = 0.0001) and found one fetuses that experience cleftpalate or abnormalities in the palate of the fetus of mice in the treatment of instant noodle boiled water concentration of 70%

Abstract

Breadfruit leaves (Artocarpus altilis) are often used as ingredients of traditional medicine for treatment so it is recommended as a natural alternative medicine for patients with liver disease such as hepatitis. The purpose of this study is the use of breadfruit leaf extract for making syrup as a functional drink for people with hepatitis and see the panelists acceptance of the products made. Tests carried out were tests of the total content of flavonoid compounds and sensory tests on breadfruit leaf syrup. The results showed the highest total content of flavonoid compounds found in the leaves of breadfruit syrup PM (warming) 60 minutes amounted to 290.00 µgQe/mL and PM 90 amounted to 263.33 µgQe/mL while the lowest for the breadfruit leaf syrup PM 30 amounted to 240.00 µgQe/mL. The flavonoid content of all treatments showed a high amount. Based on a sensory test, the panelists preferred the syrup leaves of breadfruit PM 90 with average of 7.01. Therefore, of the three roots, PM 90 was the treatment recommendation. But to know the healing effect more than the consumption of flavonoids in syrup breadfruit leaves against hepatitis patients need to be tested in vivo.

Abstract

There are several factors that can cause ARI, one of which is the ability of the family to handle and prevent ARI. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how family management in Salatiga is handling recurrent ARI in family members aged under five and respondent characteristics. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a cross sectional study design. Respondents involved were families with the criteria of having children under five who had recurrent ARI on average 2-3 times with data obtained from the Mangunsari Community Health Center in Salatiga. The results showed that all (50) respondents had good management in handling repetitive ARI based on the Integrated Toddler Disease Management Book Book (MTBS) by the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2015 and sources of information obtained related to recurrent ARI as seen from the results of family knowledge aspects related to ARI as many as 49 (98%) families have good knowledge related to ARI and the management of recurrent ARI in infants carried out in the right way by all respondents. Handling of recurrent ARI in this study is the provision of symptomatic drugs, referral to the nearest health facility and rehabilitation at home. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that family management in handling ARI over and over in infants at Mangunsari Salatiga Health Center is included in both categories which are assessed based on sources of information related to two aspects of research namely family knowledge related to ARI and early management of ARI over and over in infants

Abstract

Kanker kolorektal merupakan masalah kesehatan di dunia. Perkembangan kanker kolorektal memerlukan waktu panjang dan berkaitan dengan faktor lingkungan, genetik dan epigenetik. Patogenesis kanker kolorektal melibatkan tiga jalur yang seringkali tumpang tindih yaitu chromosomal instability (CIN), microsatellite instability (MSI) dan CpG island methylator phenotype (CIMP). Dalam tulisan ini dibahas mengenai kanker kolorektal herediter dan sporadik serta aspek genetiknya. Pemahaman mengenai aspek genetik kanker kolorektal sangat berperan dalam manajemen penyakit ini.

Abstract

Abstract In this research, acombination biopesticide, a combination biopesticide from Tephrosia vogelii leaves and Cymbopogon nardus leaves has been made as an exterminator of golden snail in rice plants. The golden snail is one of the plant pest organism in rice plants which are capable of damaging plant in a short time. This study aim to determine the efficacy of a combination biopesticide of a mixture of T. vogelii leaves extract, C nardus leaves and kitosan as golden snail pest exterminators in rice plants. Three types of variance were used, namely formula I (1:1:1), II (1:2:1) and III (2:1:1) from the mixture of T. vogelii leaves extract, C nardus leaves powder and chitosan. From the test results obtained the fastest inial death time were formulation I (24.49 hours), LC50 of 10,60 g/kg which mildly toxic, 100 % daily mortaly in formulation III (day 5) and the fastest efficacy in formulation III were 38.89 % (day 2). Keywords : Golden snail, combinations biopesticide, Tephrosia vogelii, cymbopogon nardus and chitosan Abstrak Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan pembuatan biopestisida kombinasi dari daun kacang babi, daun serai wangi dan kitosan sebagai pembasmi keong mas pada tanaman padi. Keong mas merupakan salah satu organisme pengganggu tumbuhan pada tanaman padi yang mampu merusak tanaman dalam waktu cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efikasi biopestisida kombinasi dari campuran ekstrak daun kacang babi, daun serai wangi dan kitosan sebagai pembasmi hama keong mas pada tanaman padi. Digunakan tiga jenis variansi yaitu formula I (1:1:1), II (1:2:1) dan III (2:1:1) dari campuran ekstrak daun kacang babi , serbuk daun serai wangi dan kitosan. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh waktu awal kematian tercepat yaitu formula I (24,49 jam), LC50 sebesar 10,60 g/kg yang bersifat tosik ringan, mortalitas harian 100 % pada formula III (hari ke-5) dan rfikasi tercepat pada formula III yaitu 38,89 %(hari ke-2). Abstract

Telang flower or Clitoria ternatea L is a kind of legume that is vines and easily planted and has the potential as a source of antioxidants. The blue substance contained in telang flowers has high anthocyanin content. Anthocyanin can be useful for health and in the world of food. This study was conducted to determine the potential of telang flower extract as a colorant on tape. Telang flowers are extracted by maceration method using citric acid with variations concentration 0, 0,25, 0,50, 0,75 and 1%. After extracting, each extract of telang flowers was tested for antioxidants by the DPPH method (1.1 diphenyl-2-picrihydazyl) and was applied as a coloring agent on tape products. IC50 value of telang flower extract before being applied was 53.61 ppm which is included in the category of having strong antioxidants, whereas after being applied to coloring on tape the IC50 value was 142.8 ppm which was included in the category of moderate antioxidant content. Organoleptic test results on 50 untrained panelists showed that in the color aspect the panelists tended to prefer coloring from a concentration of 1%, while in the aspect of aroma, taste, and texture the panelists tended to be neutral.
