Idarotuna: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Unisba adalah jurnal akademik yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan, Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA). Jurnal ini didedikasikan untuk mempublikasikan artikel-artikel ilmiah berkualitas dalam bidang manajemen pendidikan Islam, baik dalam konteks teoritis maupun aplikatif. Jurnal ini bertujuan menjadi wadah bagi para akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi untuk berbagi ide, hasil penelitian, dan pengalaman praktis dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas manajemen pendidikan Islam. Fokus utamanya mencakup berbagai aspek manajemen pendidikan seperti: Kepemimpinan dalam pendidikan Islam Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di lembaga pendidikan Islam Perencanaan dan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis nilai-nilai Islam Strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan Islam Isu-isu kontemporer dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Unisba terbit secara berkala (dua kali setahun: Mei dan November) dan menggunakan proses peer-review untuk memastikan kualitas akademik setiap artikel yang diterbitkan. Melalui publikasi ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta sinergi antara teori dan praktik, serta memperkaya khasanah keilmuan di bidang manajemen pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dan dunia.

Abstract

Islamic religious education (PAI) learning media plays an important role in conveying religious values and teachings to the younger generation. In this context, the use of various types of media is very important to support teaching effectiveness and attract student interest. This research explores the use of media in PAI, including the integration of technology in learning media. A qualitative approach using the literature review method was used to dig deeper into the definition, history, varieties and development models of PAI learning media. Data analysis using Nvivo 12 software. The literature review is expected to provide an in-depth understanding of the evolution of learning media from traditional to digital methods. The research results show that learning media plays a critical role in facilitating more interactive and immersive religious learning, helping students internalize Islamic values effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to find out theoretically about the concept of policy implementation in education, because without understanding the concepts and theories at a practical level it will be difficult to achieve the stated policy goals, and the phenomena that occur between expectations and reality are contradictory. This research study uses a qualitative approach based on the literature study. The results of the research are, to achieve the success of the goal of implementing policies in education, it is necessary to pay attention to and understand the concept and meaning of policy implementation, approaches, strategies, models, stages of the process, measurement criteria, and the factors that influence the success of policies in education.

Abstract

The background of the research problem is that group B RA RA RIYADLUL HUDA students have not been able to perform prayer movements in the correct order, even though based on the decision of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Number 792 of 2018 children aged 5-6 years must be able to perform prayer movements in the correct order. This study aims to describe the application of prayer prayer sticker media to early childhood in group B at RA Riyadlul Huda in Malangbong, District Garut, what is the description of the development of the ability to pray for early childhood in group B at RA Riyadlul Huda, Malangbong, District Garut and how the influence of the prayer prayer sticker media on the ability to pray in group B at RA Riyadlul Huda Malangbong District, Garut. This type of research uses a quantitative approach. The subjects studied were group B RA Riyadlul Huda students, Malangbong, District Garut which amounted to 8 students. The data collection method was carried out through observation and documentation of a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. The results showed that there was an increase in students' ability to know the prayer movements and know the prayer readings. This was evidenced by the increase in the percentage of students' ability to know the prayer movements and know the prayer readings as indicated by the significance value of the simple linear regression test between variable X (prayer prayer sticker media). and the variable Y (the ability to pray) is 0.015 <0.05. This shows that there is a significant effect of variable X (media prayer stickers) on variable Y (ability to pray). The strength of the influence of variable X on variable Y is shown from the results of the coefficient of determination (R Square) which is equal to 96%.

Abstract

This research aims to know the use of loosepart media in class A of Hidayatul Islaht’s kindergarten,to know cognitive development in class A of Hidayatul Islah’s kindergarten, and to find out the influence of loosepart media on cognitive development in class A of Hidayatul Islah’s kindergarten. This type of research is quantitave research. The research subject are student. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation. Data processing techniques using the SPSS 24 application and analysis using annova test. Based on the result of data processing, this research shows that the use of loosepart media  is in the 50% it means pretty good, and cognitive development is in 45%,  it means pretty good too. This indicates that there is an influenceof loosepart media on cognitive development in class A of Hidayatul Islah’s Kindergarten.

Abstract

Several studies related to problem-solving abilities in children attending primary and pre-school education are of particular concern to teachers and parents. Previous research studies show that children's ability to solve problems is still low. The STEAM method is a learning method that can help children explore the environment and can develop various characters such as responsibility, creativity and the ability to solve problems. STEAM combines several interdisciplinary disciplines which include: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. STEAM is the perfect combination because it has almost the same characteristics, namely being contextual and cross-disciplinary, oriented towards problem solving. With STEAM, it is hoped that children will have the ability to solve problems both in the school environment and in the surrounding environment. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research includes the subjects studied, field data, personal experiences, and real conditions in the field that the researcher interprets. The research subjects were RA Haurkoneng group B1 students aged 5-6 years. The implementation of STEAM at RA Haurkoneng has been carried out well and organized. In practice, the application of the STEAM method in solving problems for children aged 5-6 years is inseparable from the role of the teacher in providing stimulus to children. Children's ideas and problem solving abilities will emerge if teachers provide stimulation to children while learning activities are taking place. This stimulus can be included in the provocation stage. At this stage the teacher provides sentences that encourage children to be more enthusiastic, more critical so that ideas emerge that can solve problems in learning. Based on the research analysis, there were contrasting changes before and after the implementation of STEAM was implemented. Before implementing STEAM, children's enthusiasm for learning was very low, which also affected their ability to solve problems. After implementing STEAM, children's creative ideas emerged and children's enthusiasm for learning increased.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using flashcards as a memorization aid for Hadith in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MA Al Chodidjah Tebuireng, Cukir, Jombang. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research subjects include teachers and 10th-grade students who participated in the learning process using flashcards over one semester. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using a thematic approach. The research findings indicate that the use of flashcards significantly enhances students' ability to memorize Hadith. Students reported feeling more motivated and engaged in the memorization process with the help of flashcards, which made it easier for them to remember the Hadith material. Additionally, the use of flashcards improved interaction between teachers and students and provided opportunities for students to learn independently. The study also identified some challenges in the implementation of flashcards, such as limited time for creation and routine use. Therefore, further development efforts are needed, such as the provision of a flashcard bank and teacher training to enhance the effectiveness of learning. This study concludes that flashcards are an effective tool in the Hadith memorization process and have a positive impact on students' learning motivation. Recommendations from this study include the broader integration of flashcards into the curriculum and the provision of adequate support for teachers in their use.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the habituation of Dhuha prayer in building student discipline at MA ATQIA Bondowoso. Discipline is one of the essential aspects of character formation, particularly in time management, self-control, consistency, and responsibility. This study employed a qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the habituation of Dhuha prayer plays a vital role in improving time management, self-control, and adherence to school rules. Additionally, the program fosters respect and spiritual motivation, ultimately shaping students' disciplined and integrity-driven character. Therefore, the habituation of Dhuha prayer at MA ATQIA Bondowoso effectively shapes students' discipline in both academic and social contexts.   Keywords: Dhuha Prayer; Discipline; Habituation; Character Education; Character Building

Abstract

Effective classroom management is a key factor in enhancing student motivation. This research aims to analyze the classroom management strategies implemented by teachers at SDN Kalitapen 1 Bondowoso and their impact on student motivation. A qualitative approach was employed with data collection methods including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, with source triangulation ensuring data validity. The results indicate that classroom management strategies involving time management, seating arrangements, technology use, rewards, and challenges tailored to students' abilities significantly increased student engagement and motivation. In conclusion, good classroom management plays a crucial role in creating an effective and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Increasing Al-Quran literacy means improving the ability to "read" the Arabic script of Al-Quran and the ability to "translate" it into Indonesian. Research results from the Jakarta Al-Quran Science Institute in 2022 show that 72% of Indonesian Muslims are unable to read Al-Quran. The main reasons are because the majority of Indonesian Muslims do not speak Arabic. This "Al-Quran emergency" condition will cause Indonesian Muslims to be easily swayed by their religious beliefs and knowledge, their faith is fragile and their religious insight is narrow. The Al Huda method is a method of translating Al-Qur'an that utilizes advances in information technology, aimed at those who wish to be able to translate Al-Quran themselves (independently). This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Al Huda method in translating Al-Quran. The research population were group of Al Huda method training students, both offline and online groups. By using a qualitative approach and applying analytical-descriptive methods, the research results concluded that as long as the students participating in the training already had the "ability to read Al-Quran" well and fluently, the Al Huda method was successful in helping students translate Al-Quran themselves easily.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out more about how student management at Al-Hijrah Islamic Junior High School can help improve student discipline. This study used a qualitative methodology with a descriptive qualitative approach. The researcher used observation, interview, and documentation methods to collect data for this study. Data analysis began with data collection, reduction, storage, and verification. The researcher also used data triangulation methods to ensure that the data was correct. This study shows that student management at Al-Hijrah Islamic Junior High School includes planning, acceptance, grouping, attendance, training, class promotion, transfer, graduation, alumni, extracurricular activities, and services. To maintain student discipline, there are rules and regulations. Students who violate the rules or regulations will be assessed through a point weighting system. To improve student discipline, there are student guardian meetings, stamped work agreements, student grouping based on supervising teachers, student attendance lists, letters of reprimand or warning, letters of permission to leave lessons, and security guard permit cards. Students work together with the person in charge of each planned activity when doing it. Some of the services offered by the school include health services, library, guidance counseling, transportation, and canteen to help student management. Students must obey school rules to improve discipline. if students violate school rules, they will get points. Each violation is given different points, and students will be returned to others after getting 100 points.
