Abstract

According to BPS data, the poor population in Siak district in 2022 will be 25.71 thousand people or 5.07%. An important factor that can influence the level of poverty is income. A solution from an Islamic perspective to the problem of poverty is optimizing zakat. According to Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat, it is stated that zakat is to realize community welfare and overcome poverty. One of the institutions formed by the government to manage and distribute zakat, infaq and alms is the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS). The benchmark for the success of alleviating poverty through optimizing zakat is the performance of BAZNAS. This research analyzes the performance of the Siak Regency National Zakat Amil Agency in its efforts to eradicate poverty. This research has two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative or mixed method. Data sources used in this research include primary data, secondary data, documents and archives and literature studies. Using interview, observation and questionnaire methods, the performance of BAZNAS Siak Regency can be known through the National Zakat Index 2.0 approach. The components of this index are macro dimensions and micro dimensions. The macro dimension reflects the role of the government and society in contributing to building zakat institutions and the micro dimension describes institutional governance and the impact of zakat. The research results show that BAZNAS Siak Regency in two macro dimensions and micro dimensions obtained good performance scores. The good performance of zakat institutions will influence the results of zakat collection, distribution and utilization programs. The influence of good performance will have a direct impact on mustahik in efforts to improve their welfare which will ultimately help the government in alleviating poverty. In this research, it was found that the impact of good BAZNAS performance for mustahik was materially an increase in income and asset ownership, spiritually in the form of increased worship and awareness of zakat.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research used to see the influence of planning, training and assessment on the effectiveness of performance management. This research sample used 30 respondents, with a saturated sampling technique. The factor variables of this research are planning, training and planning, the affected variable is the effectiveness of performance management. The results of this research found that planning had an influence on performance management of 0.190%, training had an influence on the effectiveness of performance management of 0.457%, assessment had an influence on the effectiveness of performance management of 0.379%. And based on the results of the F test, it shows that the regression model used is appropriate because the research data produces a significant value below 0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination also show a value of 53.6%. It can be said that performance planning, performance training and performance appraisal have an influence of 53.6% and the other 46.4% is influenced by other factors. Abstract

This study aims to uncover how the Waduruka community plays a role in improving family economy through seaweed farming and how Islamic economics views seaweed farming in enhancing family economy. Seaweed farming is considered labor-intensive, thus capable of absorbing labor. The future development of the seaweed processing industry has very bright prospects in terms of creating economic growth (pro-growth), increasing employment opportunities (pro-employment), and reducing poverty in the country (pro-poor). The research method used is qualitative research with primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. Meanwhile, the data credibility test used is triangulation, and references are used. The study's results reveal that family income from seaweed farming shows better income, as seaweed can be diligently managed and properly handled to penetrate the national market. Additionally, the researchers found the practice of combining sale and purchase contracts with debt between farmers (mudharib) and collectors as financiers (shahibul maal), which is prohibited (haram). The results of this study contribute as information and input of thought. The limitation of this study is the lack of data, which is still limited to primary and secondary data. Future research needs to use quantitative data.

Abstract

Transportation is a fundamental necessity for individuals across all social strata. An efficient transportation system ensures that people can easily traverse geographical distances, connect various communities, and facilitate interactions. The proliferation of online transportation companies has led to increased competition in the industry. As a result, these companies are increasingly focused on creating attractive promotions to influence users' decisions when choosing which application to use. To stand out in this crowded market, companies often introduce various promotions and discounts to attract potential customers. InDrive, a ride-hailing platform, distinguishes itself in the competitive market by offering unique and innovative features: price negotiation. The benefits of this feature include serving price-conscious consumers and offering flexibility to find a ride with a tariff that matches their budget. This innovative approach can generate cost savings for users while providing additional income opportunities for drivers. The research population consists of Telkom University students from the 2021-2023 cohorts, with 100 respondents selected through online questionnaires distributed via social media. The sampling method used was simple random sampling, and the data was analyzed using SPSS. The research findings indicate that the perception of price and the perception of quality on the InDrive application have a significant relationship, quality perception affects the willingness to buy InDrive transportation, price perception affects the willingness to buy InDrive transportation, and quality perception serves as a mediator between price perception and the willingness to buy..

Abstract

This research uses quantitative techniques to examine and evaluate the impact of the Revenue Sharing Fund and Special Allocation Fund on the Human Development Index using regional expenditure as a mediating variable. The East Nusa Tenggara region's 110 data points from 22 districts and cities between 2019 and 2023 served as the study's sample. Path analysis and multiple linear regression are the study approaches that are employed. The results of this study prove that increasing the amount of Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) can increase Regional Expenditure, besides that DBH is able to increase the Human Development Index (HDI), DAK and Regional Expenditure have not contributed to changes in HDI, and DAK and DBH have no impact on HDI through Regional Expenditure. This illustrates that the East Nusa Tenggara local government has optimized the allocation of Revenue Sharing Funds through extracting funds by utilizing the potential of natural resources and taxes as a strategy to improve the quality of the Human Development Index through improvements in education, health, and income levels.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the bibliometric characteristics of research related to factors affecting the efficiency of the Technology Transfer Office in the Scopus journal database since the beginning of the topic. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative. This study identifies research trends, the most influential authors, documents with the most citations, the most occurring words, and other bibliometric information. The sample used was 444 publications in the form of articles and conference papers indexed by Scopus. The analysis tools used were R software version 4.3.2 and bibliometrix package version 4.1. The findings show that research interest in technology transfer efficiency continues to increase to date. Research directions show a continued focus on entrepreneurship and technological change, with additional emphasis on the role of public policy in supporting TTOs. This research contributes some information and insights into the extent to which the topic of office technology transfer efficiency is covered in articles and conference papers found in the Scopus journal database.

Abstract

This study aims to accelerate student understanding in the course of Art Education Concepts through the development of multilingual holographic learning media. This approach utilizes hologram technology to present learning materials in a visual and interactive manner, supporting more effective concept comprehension. The methodology employed is a development design, beginning with an analysis of student needs followed by the design, implementation, and evaluation of the holographic learning media. The study involved students from various language backgrounds, testing the effectiveness of the media in supporting cross-language understanding. Results show significant improvements in students' comprehension of art education concepts, as evidenced by pretest and posttest assessments. The holographic learning media offers significant potential in art education, providing an immersive learning experience accessible to multilingual students. This research provides new insights into the use of advanced technology for art education.

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop the educational game "Gerabah-Rush" as a flagship game for the pottery industry in Pagelaran Village. The methodology includes educational and promotional needs analysis, game content design, and evaluation of the game's effectiveness in increasing youth interest and engagement with pottery crafts. The game is designed to provide an interactive and immersive experience about the pottery-making process, history, and cultural values embedded within it. Program results show a significant increase in young people's interest and awareness of local pottery crafts. Evaluations through surveys and in-depth interviews confirm that this educational game is effective in promoting pottery crafts and enhancing their educational value. This program makes a significant contribution to modernizing educational and promotional assets for pottery crafts and ensuring the sustainability of the pottery industry in Pagelaran Village.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement a Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) based course to internationalize augmented reality (AR) based learning media content. The RRA method is used to identify international needs and preferences for AR learning content. The results of RRA become the basis for developing strategies that include content development, platforms, marketing and promotions. Implementation involves developer training, international collaboration, and regular evaluation and monitoring to ensure successful internationalization. The findings suggest that the integration of local cultural and linguistic elements in AR content as well as the use of platforms that support multilingualism can increase user engagement in international markets. Evaluations also show increased understanding and appreciation of AR learning materials in various countries.

Abstract

The application pattern of appropriate technology based on machine learning for ceramic identification as educational tourism infrastructure in Pagelaran Village aims to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the ceramic identification process. This program employs machine learning algorithms to classify and recognize various types of ceramics based on visual and textural characteristics. Through this approach, educational tourism in Pagelaran Village can offer an interactive and immersive learning experience for visitors. Initial results indicate increased accuracy in ceramic identification and heightened visitor interest and engagement. This initiative is expected to support the development of technology-based educational tourism in Pagelaran Village.
