Abstract

Forming noble morals is Islamic education's primary goal, reflecting faith in Allah. However, challenges such as moral deviation, violence, and intolerance indicate the need for a holistic educational approach. This study analyzes the integration of monotheistic education and religious moderation values in forming noble morals. Monotheism education is becoming a spiritual foundation, including Rububiyah, Uluhiyah, and Asma wa Sifat. Meanwhile, religious moderation values, such as tolerance (tasamuh), justice (i'tidal), and love of the homeland (al-muwathanah), provide social guidance in a multicultural society. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study design. The process is carried out through three stages: (1) identification of literature using relevant keywords, (2) selection of literature, and (3) thematic synthesis to reveal the relationship between monotheism education and religious moderation values. The study results indicate that the integration of monotheistic education and religious moderation values can form noble morals relevant to modern challenges. For example, muraqabatullah (awareness of being watched by Allah) contains values of improvement and exemplary behavior, while tawadhu (humility) strengthens values of tolerance and anti-violence. This integration process can be implemented through a curriculum based on moderation values, experiential learning, and teacher training. In conclusion, the integrative approach forms tolerant religious individuals and contributes to social harmony. This paradigm reflects Islam as rahmatan lil 'alamin, as a solution to the challenges of character education in the era of diversity.

Abstract

The issue of educational integration is a significant concern in meeting the special needs of regular school students, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. Although the inclusive program aims to create an equitable learning environment, its implementation has various challenges, including limited teacher resources and lack of training. This study aimed to determine the PAI learning strategy for inclusive students at SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta and identify the obstacles faced during its implementation. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through direct observation of the learning process in grades 10-12, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, students, and parents, and document analysis. The study results showed that inclusive learning strategies began with recognizing the unique needs of students, such as visual impairments, hearing impairments, hyperactivity, and intellectual disabilities. The strategies implemented included personalization of learning, use of audiovisual media, adaptation of teaching materials such as the Quran and Hadith, and collaboration with parents. Up to 40% of teachers felt adequately trained in inclusive learning, and revised assessments showed an increase in student engagement academically and socially by up to 30%. This study concludes that flexible, innovative, and inclusive learning strategies can enhance the academic and social potential of students with special needs. The implications of this study highlight the importance of intensive training for teachers, the development of more adaptive curricula, and educational policies that support inclusive learning in formal schools.

Abstract

High academic pressure, strict discipline, and social dynamics in Islamic boarding schools trigger panic attacks. This study aims to examine the role of Kiai as a counselor in overcoming panic attacks with a spiritual approach in Islamic boarding schools. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach at the Pesantren Takhasus Al-Qur'an Kalibeber Wonosobo. The results showed that the psychological pressure experienced by students was quite significant. The symptoms were excessive anxiety, restlessness, and difficulty in social interaction. Kiai played an essential role in relieving panic attacks through dhikr and prayer, Islamic reflection therapy, counseling based on Al-Qur'an values, and an individual approach. Several of these methods were able to reduce panic attack symptoms, increase emotional stability, and provide students with confidence in dealing with stress. The dynamics of interpersonal relationships between Kiai and students were the main supporting factors for the effectiveness of this approach. This study concluded that the integration of spiritual guidance, Islamic counseling methods, and social support created a conducive Islamic boarding school environment for students' mental recovery. These findings provide theoretical and practical contributions by emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach combining spiritual, psychological, and social aspects to support students' mental health.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of teacher pedagogical competence on student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The results of this research show that teacher pedagogical competence influences student learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject, which can be seen from the results of simple linear regression analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination. From the analysis results, it shows a significance value of 0.001, it can be seen that 0.001 < 0.05. Thus, this research hypothesizes that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, with the statement that there is an influence of teacher pedagogical competence on student learning outcomes in the subject of jurisprudence. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination show that R Square is 0.336, which means that it indicates that the independent variable in the form of teacher pedagogical competence has an influence on the dependent variable in the form of student learning outcomes by 33.6%, and the remaining 66.4% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Students with special needs often face discrimination in formal education, posing a challenge for the Indonesian government to ensure equitable and fair education for all. Inclusive education serves as a strategic approach to providing quality education access for everyone, supporting the achievement of SDG 4 on inclusive and quality education. This study aims to examine inclusive education from the perspective of Lev Vygotsky's constructivist learning theory and Islamic principles to explore their relevance to the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research employs a library research method. The findings reveal that Lev Vygotsky's constructivist theory, particularly the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), significantly contributes to inclusive education. ZPD emphasizes social interaction and teacher guidance as key elements of learning, promoting collaboration, active student engagement, and dynamic learning processes. The implementation of this theory fosters an inclusive learning environment that values diversity. Islamic values, as reflected in QS An-Nisa verse 58 and QS Al-Hujurat verse 13, support justice, trustworthiness, and respect for diversity, aligning with the principles of inclusive education and Vygotsky's theory. These verses underline the importance of justice, social interaction, and collaboration for holistic human development. The implications of this study highlight the need for teacher training to implement collaborative learning based on ZPD and strengthen the values of justice and respect for diversity within the curriculum. This supports the creation of inclusive, fair, and quality education in line with SDG 4.

Abstract

This research explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) integration in increasing student independence and creativity while completing the final project in higher education. This research is based on technological advances in artificial intelligence used by students in their final projects as a form of creativity and student independence. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-case case study design in two Islamic religious universities. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with several lecturers and students and top management as informants, observations, and documentation analysis, which were then analyzed using data reduction techniques and inductive conclusions drawn. The main findings of this study reveal that the application of AI in final projects not only speeds up the completion process but also stimulates students' creativity through advanced analytical tools that allow them to explore innovative solutions to complex problems. In addition, AI will enable students to develop research independence and encourage them to think critically and adaptively to technological changes in an academic context. The research findings as a practical contribution show that integrating AI in the curriculum and final projects can enrich the learning process, broaden academic horizons, and improve students' readiness to face rapidly evolving industry challenges.
