Abstract

Cara berpikir atau WoT adalah karakteristik dari suatu tindakan mental yang dilakukan oleh seseorang sedangakan cara memahami atau WoU kumpulan atau struktur-struktur yang terdiri dari aksioma tertentu, definisi, teorema, bukti, masalah, dan solusi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis karakteristik cara berpikir (Ways of Thinking) dan cara memahami (Ways of Understanding) siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah bilangan bulat dan pecahan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas SMP kelas VII yang sudah mempelajari materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat dan pecahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa karakteristik WoT dan WoU siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah terkain bilangan bulat dan pecahan saling berhubungan. Cara memahami konsep yang salah atau tidak utuh menghasilkan cara berpikir yang tidak logis atau salah. Begitu pun sebaliknya, pemahaman yang baik mengenai bilangan bulat dan pecahan menghasilkan penyelesaian dari cara berpikir yang sistematis, logis, dan efektif .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce instructional materials for Basic Mathematics using Photo Math android. The mathematical ability of the students in the primary teacher education department was initially different. It is expected that the students' mathematical skill can be improved through this research at the end of this course. For that, the students need the media as a tool in helping them to answer math problems that require higher reasoning. This research uses a mixed method of sequential exploratory design. The results show that the teaching material is valid regarding media layout (79%), language (83%) and content (80%). This indicates that the instructional materials of Basics Mathematics using Photo Math android are feasible to be used and proceeded to the efficacy assessment test stage.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis adalah kemampuan yang diperlukan siswa untuk menghasilkan ide-ide kreatif dari pemahaman matematika yang dimiliki sehingga dapat menemukan solusi dari permasalahan matematika. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dipengaruhi oleh beberapa aspek afektif, diantaranya efikasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa berdasarkan efikasi diri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada salah satu SMP di kabupaten Konawe Utara. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa yang ditentukan berdasarkan efikasi diri tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, angket efikasi diri, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subyek yang memiliki efikasi diri tinggi dapat menyelesaikan 3 soal kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang terdiri dari tiga indikator. Subyek yang memiliki efikasi diri sedang dapat menyelesaikan dua indikator soal kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan subyek yang memiliki efikasi diri rendah hanya dapat menyelesaikan satu indikator soal kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Temuan lain yang diperoleh bahwa siswa yang memiliki efikasi diri tinggi mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kreatif tinggi, siswa yang memiliki efikasi diri sedang mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kreatif sedang, dan siswa yang memiliki efikasi diri rendah mempunyai kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang rendah.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan tujuan yang harus dicapai dalam pembelajaran matematika Namun, pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang memberikan informasi mengenai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model konvensional dan untuk mengetahui respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe TTW. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di kota Cimahi dengan dua kelas yang ditetapkan secara sengaja sebagai sampel. Adapun data penelitian diperoleh dari instrumen tes dan instrumen non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Kemudian peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu, respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW menunjukkan hasil positif, yang ditandai dengan siswa semangat belajar, percaya diri untuk berpendapat, mampu menambah pemahaman saat ada siswa yang berbeda penyelesaian masalah, dan mampu mempresentasikan hasil kerjanya dengan penuh percaya diri meskipun diperhatikan oleh guru dan siswa yang lain.

Abstract

This research was qualitative research with a descriptive approach that aims to describe the results of the analysis of student errors based on Polya's stages in solving PISA problems in terms of gender. This research was carried out in SMP Negeri 2 Kahu, in class VIII female and male students who had relatively similar mathematical abilities. Data collection is done by giving mathematical problem-solving tasks in the form of PISA questions and interviews. To test the credibility of the data, time triangulation was performed. At different times the tasks and interviews are given with problems that are equivalent to the previous tasks.In the stage of understanding the problem and making a plan of resolution, the female subject did not make mistakes because she was able to identify the problem by determining the keywords of the problem at hand but the subject could not fully understand the purpose of the problem because the subject did not know what concepts were related to the problem. At the stage of implementing the plan, the calculation results obtained by the subject are wrong. This happens because the subject is not able to understand and relate the concepts by the problem being faced so that the calculation results are wrong. This has an impact on the stage of re-checking, the subject examines and checks the steps and the results of calculations that are done repeatedly to ensure that the calculation results are correct even though the answer is still wrong because the concept used to solve the PISA problem is wrong.In the stage of understanding the problem and making a plan of the resolution, the subject does not make a mistake because it identifies the problem by determining the keywords of the problem encountered after reading the problem. Then gather information / mathematical facts related to the problem that will be used to solve the problem. At the stage of making a solution plan, the subject made a mistake by making a problem-solving plan without using the correct concepts. Or in other words, the subject is only guessing what concepts are appropriate for solving the problem. At the stage of implementing the plan, the subject carries out the chosen strategy. However, because the plan is chosen was not based on a strong concept, the results of the problem solving obtained were wrong. In the re-checking stage, the subject checks by examining and re-checking step by step the problem-solving strategies that are used and all are appropriate. However, because the strategy chosen was only guessed, the subjects did not know that the answers obtained were wrong.

Abstract

Kecemasan terhadap matematika dapat ditemukan di semua jenjang pendidikan, mulai dari sekolah dasar hingga mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian literatur terkait kecemasan matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendokumentasikan semua artikel yang memiliki penelitian sejenis dalam laporan penelitian ini. Artikel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 98 artikel yang diterbitkan pada periode 2014 – 2022. Penelitian dilakukan pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa (1) kecemasan matematika dapat terjadi pada berbagai aspek pembelajaran matematika, seperti (a) kompetensi matematika, (b) media dan alat pembelajaran, (c) pendekatan dan metode pembelajaran, (d) perbedaan jenis kelamin, dan adanya (e) kategori kecemasan matematika, (2) melalui penelitian SLR ini ditemukan adanya peningkatan penelitian kecemasan matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata Kunci: Kecemasan Matematis, Systematic Literature Review, Pembelajaran Matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan video animasi menggunakan model discovery learning, mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa setelah menggunakan video animasi dengan model discovery learning, dan mengetahui respons siswa terhadap pemanfaatan video animasi dengan model discovery learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Research and Development (RD) atau penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Model pengembangan ADDIE memiliki lima tahapan, yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (perancangan), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (penerapan), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa media video animasi yang dikembangkan menggunakan metode RD dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa berdasarkan hasil N-Gain pada kriteria sedang. Video animasi ini juga memperoleh respons yang baik dari siswa, berada pada kriteria sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Sehingga video animasi ini bisa menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMA.

Abstract

Abstract The research aims to determine the effectiveness of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Model Learning of mathematics learning achievement in grade VII in SMP ba'it Al-Quran Kayuagung school year 2019/2020. This study was conducted at the Al-Quran Ba'it Junior High school year 2019/2020. This type of research is the research of pseudo experiments (quasi experiment). The sampling techniques in this study used simple random sampling techniques, the research sample was Cairo's class VII as an experimental class and the VII class of Mecca as the control class. Test instruments using this type of essay test.  Data analysis techniques with prerequisite test and hypothesis testing. Test prerequisite in the form of normality and homogenization test while the hypothesis test using parametric statistical analysis is Independent Sample T Test at the equivalent of α-significance = 0.05. The results showed that there were different learning outcomes among students who used the Realistic Mathematics approach. This is in the event of test analysis of Independent Samples T Test The value of the post test obtained significance 0.000 0.05, then H0 rejected. This means that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is effective to improve the students’ mathematics learning achievement at SMP Ba’it Al-Quran  Kayuagung.Keyword: Learning approach, RME, Learning achievement

Abstract

Learning mathematics more often uses expository methods that are teacher-oriented which does not provide opportunities for students to construct their own mathematical ideas so that students become passive learners. Student confused about using mathematical concepts because students only memorized concept is not understanding it. This study aims to find out how apply Realistic Mathematics Learning (PMR) with Think Pair Share (TPS) so that there is an increase in activities and learning outcomes of mathematics. Type The research carried out is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with data collection techniques through student activity observation sheets and test results study. The subjects in this study were class VIIIB students of SMP Negeri 2 Bengkulu City. The results of this study indicate the application of Mathematics Learning Realistic (PMR) with Think Pair Share (TPS) type can improve activities and student learning outcomes of mathematics. Student activity is enhanced with giving contextual problems, proper group division, giving value add to the group that is ready to advance at the presentation. Enhancement student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average value of students from cycle I up to the third cycle, namely: 74.48; 79.44; 83.16 with the proportion of mastery learning classical from cycle I to cycle III, namely: 58.33%; 77.78%; 86.11% and power student absorption from cycle I to cycle III is: 74.48%; 79.44%; 83.16%.

Abstract

Teacher-centered mathematics learning and teaching materials that do not support contextual problems cause a low level of students' ability to understand concepts. The purpose of this study is to produce and determine the quality of Concept-Rich Instruction (CRI)-based e-module development products assisted by direct worksheets. The research method used is the research and development method (Research and Development) and the model used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. Data analysis techniques were obtained from validation questionnaires (validated by a team of materials and design experts), practicality questionnaires (teachers and students), student response questionnaires and student concept comprehension tests used to see effectiveness. The results of this study were in the form of e-modules based on Concept-Rich Instruction (CRI) assisted by direct worksheets to improve students' understanding of concepts and it was found that e-module products were proven to be valid, practical and effective with a material validity level of 93% (very valid), design validity of 88% (very valid), practicality by teachers 89.3% (very practical), practicality by students 88.28% (very practical), and effectiveness (student response questionnaire) 85.72% (very effective). Based on the results and discussion, it was found that e-module products based on Concept-Rich Instruction (CRI) assisted by direct worksheets to improve students' concept understanding can improve students' concept comprehension skills.
