Abstract

Pengembangan usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM) merupakan strategi penting untuk meningkatkan perekonomian desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang strategi pengembangan UMKM di desa Bogokidul dengan metode Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) yang menekankan pada identifikasi dan pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus dengan pelaku UMKM dan tokoh masyarakat setempat. Luaran dari pengabdian masyarakat ini antara lain kegiatan sosialisasi yang membantu UMKM mengembangkan pemasaran, sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, memperkenalkan teknologi, serta aspek sosial ekonomi, sehingga UMKM di desa Bogokidul kecamatan Pringan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saingnya. Penerapan metode ABCD mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pembangunan ekonomi desa sehingga menimbulkan rasa memiliki dan tanggung jawab yang lebih besar terhadap keberlanjutan usaha. Strategi ini efektif dalam memperkuat perekonomian lokal dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Bogokidul.

Abstract

The religious moderation socialization program at SDN Wonokerto aims to instill values of tolerance, mutual respect, and harmony from an early age. This activity was initiated due to the lack of contextual delivery of religious moderation materials in schools. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR), consisting of observation, approach, organization, planning, action, evaluation, and reflection stages. The implementation involved the active participation of students, teachers, and school staff through discussions, educational games, and direct practice in applying moderation values. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding and attitudes towards respecting differences, behaving politely, and maintaining harmonious relationships both at school and in the community. Students’ enthusiasm was evident through their active engagement in each session and the application of moderation values in daily interactions. In conclusion, interactive, participatory, and contextual socialization is effective in shaping tolerant and inclusive character. This program has the potential to become a model for character development based on religious moderation that can be integrated into learning and extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the character and mental resilience of senior high school and vocational students through a guest lecturer program integrated into the Ramadan boarding school (Pondok Ramadhan) activities. The background of this program is based on the increasing need to develop students’ character, discipline, and mental readiness in facing future challenges, which are not yet fully addressed in formal education. This study employs a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, consisting of problem identification, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection stages. The program was conducted through interactive lectures, group discussions, and reflective sessions incorporating spiritual values relevant to the Ramadan context. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of character values, increased learning motivation, and greater awareness of discipline and responsibility. In addition, students demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm and active participation throughout the program. This activity contributes to the holistic development of students by integrating cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions. Therefore, the guest lecturer program within the context of Ramadan activities can serve as an effective and contextual model of community engagement in supporting character development among youth.

Abstract

Radio remains an important communication medium in the digital era; however, practice-based broadcasting skills among students are still limited due to a lack of direct field experience. This community service activity aims to improve students’ understanding and skills in radio broadcasting through a practice-based training approach. The method applied is experiential learning, which includes classroom theoretical briefing, a visit to Radio Telstar 102.7 FM, limited on-air practice, and follow-up classroom training for reinforcement. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of radio production processes, communicative delivery skills, as well as awareness of journalistic ethics and digital media utilization. In addition, participants demonstrated increased confidence and active participation in communication practices. This activity provides contextual learning through the integration of theory and practice, although it is limited by time constraints and the scope of practical involvement. Therefore, practice-based training shows strong potential for further development in enhancing students’ competencies in broadcasting
